Yes, Mod works, I have the flower, mushroom, and cactus mod. works with no issues for me.

I was wondering if you'd consider making seeds/spores for the abberation mushrooms to. The four different ones needed for mushroom stew and taming light pets.

Hi - I love your seed mods and the fact they are isolated, so that I can pick and choose which ones I want to include in my servers.

1. Any chance of getting a mod for the 4 x Aberration mushrooms?
2. Ant chance of getting a mod for Scorched Earth silk seeds?

The mod probably needs to be updated so it can be used in Genesis. I don't have the devkit installed any more, as it takes up about 500 GB and takes hours to get it up and running. If anyone wants to take over the mod, let me know.

I've rechecked with my cluster. I had been of the understanding it was fine.
So their character already knew the engram from another map.
But when they plan the seed it disappears but does not spawn a plant.
So yeh does look like there are some issues

You don't need to make any changes to game.ini for this mod to function. I am not sure what you are trying to do.

Nope. Just plant fewer crops. Or alternatively make your own version of the mod. It's quite intuitive once you get the hang of the dev kit.

Just a word about the Torkkar's idea for the s+ seamless planter : just add a second type of seed which create a model a bit higher than the normal one. Write this differences in the descriptions of the concerned seeds and that all. Don't need to code something that recognizes the planter.
Then, if I use a normal planter, I'll craft the normal seeds, and if I use the seamless planter, I'll craft the alternate seeds.

I'm a Damn Chef not a programmer though I do know BASIC processes I'm only applying how to read a recipe and alter it on the fly, I can't code nor well enough to keep up with a mod so big

Yeh Orionsun has a life outside of Ark and has moved on to their next adventure.
Torkkar if it really bothers you this much, S+ is open source so you could create your own version of the plots.

I reported it in the S+ bug report thread. I highly doubt it will get fixed. The author abandoned the mod due to S+ integration.

After more investigation, I can only confirm the S+ seamless plot is to blame. Even vanilla stimberry bush models are cut off due to their seamless plot dirt being too high off the ground plane.

I'm not going to write code to figure out if the plot is a S+ seamless one. I'm not going to change my crop models just for one broken plot and have them float in the air for all the others. The solution is for S+ to fix their plot.

hmm... then the fix should be easy you just need to duplicate your existing models & alter their display to be higher than the defaults & bind them to the seamless plots & make it a conditional feature.

easier to say than do I know but still simple and we tryed using that other mod but the issue is the S+ Seamless has better snaps than anything else we've tryed.

I have investigated and the issue is due to S+ seamless plots placing the dirt higher than the bottom of the crop. On the right of the below screenshot, you can see a crop plot mod with proper dirt height, and the S+ seamless plot on the left barely showing the top of the flower.

exactly but its a bit more Structures Plus has a new planter model "Seamless planter" its got a nicer more uniform look than the normal planter model and your 3D model for the Rare Flowers & mushrooms shows up in the normal S+ planters that use the vanilla planter model, but they don't show in the Seamless planters both Square & Triangle.

tbh its probably a small thing like a code recognition. As stated I've sent the same post to you & S+ but you responded first so heres the full thing.

I hope this helps your rare growth is a real help with SEL mods tiered Tranq arrows & darts. I'm lookin forward to your findings.

so hate to say this but the flowers & mushrooms are not showing up in the new stone planters from S+ they're producing just fine I've sent the same message to S+ creator but if you could look into it as well that'd be great

@Uueerdo Would suspect that'd have to applied to the plot itself and not the plant inside the plot.
As the greenhouse effect buff appears on the plot. In which case suppose the mechanic you want could be done but would need modded plots rather than modded seeds.

@zerassar, yeah, it was just an idea. I know the greenhouses have logic for where they do and don't work, and was just thinking the inverse of that could maybe be applied for mushroom plots (i.e. whatever blocks a greenhouse could benefit a mushroom plot).

I'm not going to be making any more mods. From what I remember when I played Aberration a year ago, it was easy to gather large amounts of those mushrooms, and they weren't used for much. If you feel you need more of them, you can bump up the harvest rate.

Have you considered adding the Aberration mushrooms to this mod?
I am looking at other mods that fill in the gap but most of them are a little over the top or don't seem as polished.

Some of them look good but need medium plots. Much prefer your mod given its a small plot.

@Uueerdo I don't think the game really has a light level mechanic. The closest thing to that is that crops can only be placed in certain regions on the SE map. But buildings or lights dont really impact that.

I can't think of a way for the plot to detect it. It also seems like a rather minor thing for a perfectionist than something that is a meaningful addition to the mod. We pretty much always put in greenhouses for the 300% and that works well enough.

Just an idea, and I am not sure if it is possible for a mod to do it, but could the mushrooms be made to grow better in dark areas?
