Well fuck me! I made a mistake, I thought you made the shadow race mod and that this was the only way to access it. Apologies most sincerely, but I was tired and also listening to some YouTube videos while browsing random workshops. Thanks for even doing what you did!

i did a search for shadow race on the workshop and found plenty of modders added stuff for that race.

none, at worse the alter itself just turns into a harmless debug item.

i think its great it adds a ton of new planets to explore, weapons and armors to craft, enemies to fight.

in a sense its like starbound 2.0 "kinda"

the new planets also some with new dangers you can't just equip a backpack and be ok sometimes you have to craft augments or wear special armors.

i would "highly" recommend making a new character and giving it a shot sometime

There is a mod that uses them. A dungeon mod (that is already included in FU by default). I can't remember the name exactly. But if it causes problems with FU you're gonna have a <censored>ton of people banging angrily on your door.
