Thanks alot REDBowl, I really appreciate the kind words. Praire Fire DLC also rekindled my love and enthusiasm for ARMA. And I've published quite a few PF specifc scripts you can find here: https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/226505-jboy-scripts-compilation/

sorry in advance for this long scribe.you make sp/rp dream mods/scripts, man. you really do. the work seems sharper than the usual experimental mods and scripts ive seen in the arma workshop. the bbq script was so damn wicked as well.

- and hell yeah! please please please if you ever have the time...do that for the spear gun!! the reason im falling in love with arma 3 all over again is the fun im having with that prairie fire dlc.

In this case, could we expect a "civilian" fishing device like sandows crossbow with an arrow linked ?
Also, an implementation of Feint's suggested fire cooking for a beach party :steamhappy:

Thanks Feint! All good ideas, I will give it some thought. I do have the fish taken stored in an array variable, so if someone is scripting a survival mission, the fish are available for them to use:

player getVariable ["JBOY_FishTaken",0];

Very cool. Nice job. I love it. Possible idea is an addAction to dump the fish you are carrying which spawns the fish you have collected around you, but dead, with assigned names like "fish00", "fish01", etc. Then you could easily pick them back up, put them next to a fire on a stone to cook them, create a timer for them to take 10 minutes to cook or something, etc.
