Does this work with 3UC and 4 UC?

quick question because im having a problem. I installed it into my UI folder, and the mods works fine in singleplayer but when i tried to use it in a modded game the game would not let me scroll past like the first 4 civs so i had to choose through advanced options. Do you know how to fix this?

Is there an easy way to localize this mod by myself? I'd like to have a Russian version.
Without Reason 23 Mar, 2015 @ 12:54pm
This mod does work, even with custom civs! You have to follow his special instructions but it does work! Thanks man, you've made my life so much easier I can't thank you enough

Very helpful
Lord_Weasel 30 Jul, 2014 @ 1:09pm
Does that method work for any mod?
Diamond Rhombus 30 May, 2014 @ 8:17pm
I downloaded this mod through the recommended method - made it default and everything - and it works great! ...but it messes up under the mod menu. When I try to select a civ from the Set Up Game menu, the tooltips work fine, but the scroll bar is gone. Thoughts?

This is one of those I just thought, 'somebody MUST have thought of this.' So glad i was right. THANKS A TON! : ]

cannot find Zstuff folder in any of folders listed Subscribed reloaded game and steam and pc
Presac 31 Dec, 2013 @ 6:31am
This certainly makes it easier to choose when you don't know them
Legoras 29 Oct, 2013 @ 2:17pm
For me works great :) (after copy mod to UI)
janboruta 4 Oct, 2013 @ 1:32am
The mod isn't working with the new beta patch. I didn't work even with the previous update.
Bacons  [author] 19 Sep, 2013 @ 4:10pm
This should work with modded civs. Just use the copy "zStuff" folder method.
Altered Nova 18 Sep, 2013 @ 1:22pm
If you change a civilization's unique units or trait with another mod with the tooltips reflect the change or will they only be accurate for an otherwise unmodded game?
epic 8 Sep, 2013 @ 5:34pm
After new update, this seems no longer working
Buzz Killington 7 Sep, 2013 @ 5:43am
MOD no longer works for me, was working fine before.
ChuckB 4 Sep, 2013 @ 10:41pm
Hi Bacons - quick update. I have made the mod default by using the instructions you provided and it works now; still can't make it work through the MOD menu within Civ V but I guess there is no reasons ever to not use it ;-) Thanks!
ChuckB 4 Sep, 2013 @ 4:09pm
Hi Bacons - thanks for getting back to me! I know tried three different machines and have the same issue on all three of them. I completely deleted Civ V and all associated folders but I can't get the mod to work again, unfortunately. I don't run many mods and if you're interested, I can send you a list.
Bacons  [author] 1 Sep, 2013 @ 9:10am
@ChuckB The new patch didn't change the file I changed. I tried running my copy and everything works fine. Are you sure it's not some other mod that is conflicting with mine?
ChuckB 30 Aug, 2013 @ 6:46am
Hi, I love this Mod but it has stopped working for me on 8/29 - could it be related to the minor Civ V patch that was released that day? I tried a clean reinstall of Civ V (deleted all relevant folders before) and even with only this one Mod installed, it doesn't work (and it did before). Thanks for your work on this!
Glubtubbus Wepple 28 Aug, 2013 @ 8:10pm
I want to personally thank you for this mod. This is something I've always thought should be in vanilla and was overjoyed to find that there is a user-generated feature that is everything I could of hoped for and more. And even then, the best part is that I don't need to enable it when I start civ for this to work. I just want to show my apprecation, hats off you you!

GazzD 19 Aug, 2013 @ 3:25pm
awesome!
Bacons  [author] 18 Aug, 2013 @ 11:16pm
@GazzD This mod is multilangage compatible. I just switch my game to spanish and all the tooltips are in spanish. Just for fun, I change it to Japanese too and the tooltip works fine.
GazzD 18 Aug, 2013 @ 3:22am
can you make it multilanguaje compatible? i can help translating it to spanish if needed
trophyskank 15 Aug, 2013 @ 3:41pm
Such a useful mod, Thanks!
김진관 14 Aug, 2013 @ 6:34pm
good
Cupcake Fury 4 Aug, 2013 @ 12:34pm
Any way to make to availiable for multiplayer, that's when you really need extra into. Then it could also display Civs special 'abilities'. That would be truely awesome :)
Great mod!
Nerro 4 Aug, 2013 @ 9:48am
I restarted the game and now it works.
Nerro 4 Aug, 2013 @ 9:41am
Does not work for me. The mod is correctly loaded, but the tooltips are the old ones (with only the name). Other mods work fine, but not this one.
CapFindus 4 Aug, 2013 @ 12:58am

This really, really should have been in the game already. Thanks for making it.
Blackbeard 1 Aug, 2013 @ 2:56pm

Bacons  [author] 1 Aug, 2013 @ 2:35pm

@/=\Sea Sheperd/=\ Default steam installation should put it under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\UI\
OSS | | Frost 1 Aug, 2013 @ 12:16pm
Where can I find the Assets\UI\ folder in my Civ 5 instalation to make this mod a default?
Smug Devil 1 Aug, 2013 @ 6:22am
Why make your game right when you can just let the players do all the easy work through mods? Seriously they should have had this from the start and I'm getting a mod to do it
Darkness 1 Aug, 2013 @ 12:18am
great mod, will install it tonight.
pamplowner 31 Jul, 2013 @ 6:08pm
Thanks for this. Really handy when you dont know everything about every race!
MurderfaceMurderfaceMurderface 31 Jul, 2013 @ 4:37pm
Extremely useful, addresses a shortcoming of the current UI.
ando 31 Jul, 2013 @ 12:53pm
Welp, I figured it out. Of course, its a smidge more complicated. Go to civ 5 in steamapps/common, however once you get there, right click on the Civ5 icon (Looks like a V). Select "Show Package Contents". Now go to Contents/Home/Assets/UI and drop zStuff in there. Hope this helps other mac users :)
