Please, is it possible to fix your mod, the mod does not want to work correctly in the new version 3.2
BlindProphetess 1 Nov, 2021 @ 10:15pm
Any mod updates planned for v3.1.*? Stellaris says the current version doesn't work anymore.
Aaron Tigan  [author] 24 Apr, 2021 @ 11:05am
@LeonTheProfessional, It's just a single texture file so there is no reason that it shouldn't still work with latest versions unless the file name was changed or the dimensions of the circle were changed.

As for if it's still needed, I'd assume that it is since I have not heard of a way for one mod to detect another mod and then choose which files to use based on if the other mod exists or not.

Gonna be honest, I haven't played Stellaris in quite awhile. I've been meaning to get back into it but many of the mods I used are no longer updated so I have to rebuild my modlist for when I play.

Yeah wondering the same myself?
LeonTheProfessional 3 Apr, 2020 @ 4:57pm
should this patch still be used, and is it working in 2.6 / latest versions of the mods?
Johnny Mayhews 29 Nov, 2019 @ 12:39pm
Hmm... I will come back after I do a test. Thank you for the swift reply.
Aaron Tigan  [author] 29 Nov, 2019 @ 12:36pm
It should, it just will be a blue circle instead of something more appropriate for the color scheme of the orange gold.
Johnny Mayhews 29 Nov, 2019 @ 12:07pm
Does anyone know if this works with darkui orangegold edition?
Aaron Tigan  [author] 16 Jun, 2019 @ 7:08pm
@Wrinkle Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I'd have to make another patch unless there is a way to detect if a mod is in use and use a different file if it is (not sure if that's a thing, noob to modding)
Wrinkle 16 Jun, 2019 @ 4:43pm
and just to clarify, yes, this is an issue brought on by UI Overhaul 1080p & 1440p (now called UI Overhaul Dynamic) as it makes the selectable planets a little bigger in the homeworld screen
Wrinkle 16 Jun, 2019 @ 4:37pm
@鈺 got it, go to this mod (located at steam/steamapps/workshop/content/281990/1624596868 in your steam folder), dig into the .zip file called "duipdcp.zip" and click through all the folders until you see "selection_planet.dds". drag that image to the desktop, open in the paint.net app, and resize the image from 55x55 to 80x80. then save it, and replace the image in the .zip folder with the one you just resized. god willing, the circle should now properly line up with the planets.
Aaron Tigan  [author] 7 Jun, 2019 @ 5:02pm
@鈺 I will take a look at that one and let you know what I find out.
7 Jun, 2019 @ 4:59pm
@Hype365 probably because i'm not using that particular 1440p mod, i'm using one called UI Overhaul 1080p & 1440p, is it possible to make a patch for that one? it's not game breaking if there's isn't one, but it would be appreciated
Aaron Tigan  [author] 7 Jun, 2019 @ 3:34pm
@Advisorcloud
I have checked and there are no changes to be made for 2.3 at this time (I will however update the compatible game version so it no longer flags it in game)

@鈺
I have tested this mod with UI Overhaul 1440p NEW which is the current working version of the overhaul mod for 2.3, along with Dark UI, and Planetary Diversity and I could not reproduce the issue you describe.
Mr. Sophistication 7 Jun, 2019 @ 6:18am
Are we going to see an update for this now that 2.3 is out?
26 Apr, 2019 @ 12:08am
can the author of this patch maybe make this compatible with UI Overhaul 1440p?

the blue glowing circle is out of place and smaller (to the top left to be exact), when using with the UI mod
Norwegian Forest 23 Feb, 2019 @ 8:10am
i like it
vykana 23 Jan, 2019 @ 8:23am
@Hype365 its working now, thanks man
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 10:00pm
@vykana Try it again :) SHOULD be working this time. At least it was for me the last 5 times I ran it lol
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:53pm
No no, you're fine :) I was mostly just confused cause as far as I know nothing changed that should have affected things...
vykana 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:49pm
no worries man, im not really a stellaris modder. i just looked up the bare minimum understanding on how modding works. The whole thing looked really complicated. I meant no offence if perceived that way
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:45pm
Hmm... this is very odd... it's not overriding the default selection circle anymore... wth... I'm looking into what's going on and I'll let you know when it's fixed (again) :(
vykana 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:44pm
nope
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:41pm
and you don't have the old patch by ButtJunkie installed as well on accident?
vykana 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:39pm
the selection circle was much bigger then the planets, so when u clicked on a planet the blue circle would be bigger and encompass multiple planets
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:36pm
In what way isn't it working for you?
vykana 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:36pm
then i dont know why it wasn't working. thats what i did to fix it for me
Aaron Tigan  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 7:35pm
This mod is updated!
Aaron Tigan  [author] 18 Jan, 2019 @ 10:38pm
Will update in the morning, it's 1:37am here and I'm just jumping into bed.
禁地 18 Jan, 2019 @ 9:10pm
@Hype365 Please update to 2.2.3
Aaron Tigan  [author] 14 Jan, 2019 @ 12:31pm
@ButtJunkie No problem, my pleasure :) and thanks :D
ButtJunkie 14 Jan, 2019 @ 3:36am
Thanks for the update, I've linked this in the Dark UI page and the old patch page.
