Report a translation problem
A: Go to a new system or planet. Critters on a refreshed area should be capturable now, anything already explored including your ship won't make the critters catchable. This fixed it for me.
B: Start a new game, should it be most extreme in lack of functionality.

I realize you may have lost interest in Starbound or modding, I see a lot of people who post mods for the game need breaks and such. Or maybe they just don't want to come back to it. That's okay! I just wanted to tell you I appreciate your work. Thank you.
I love this mod so much. So much potential for growth too! Not that's it's lacking ;)
Though I'd also love to see a mode or setting or something that allows for critters to be safe from your weapons.
Again, thank you so much for this mod, it is really one of my favourites, and in my opinion on of the best out there!
@Strange Creature : I believe prism elementals are one of the few critters I've had yet to add. I'll see about working them in next update.
Wanted to thank you again for your mod.
One request if possible, I was hoping the glowing pink jellyfish from ocean worlds would glow in their tanks as they do in the wild. Do you know if this is possible?

I am curious, did you subscribe to this mod after, or before the creation of the character you were using to capture those prism elementals?
When I first got this mod I found that I could not capture critters that were already generated on worlds I had visited. But new critters and new worlds were no problem to capture.
I love this mod so frackin' much. Thank you for this! This is one of my favourite mods out there!
The only request I have is pixel art for the wall hanging cages to resemble the normal stackable cages. This being the wall attaching cages look 2dimensional and more like an odd painting. But that's my only issue with this mod.

I'm not the mod creator/contributor, buuuuuut, I noticed a similar thing. Sometimes. I suspect you can't catch some creators because they were spawned before you added this mod. If you mind critters that are spawned AFTER you added this mod, you'll probably be able to catch them.
I experienced this when playing.
Oh and btw... Still haven' got the blue bug net in my sewing machine... Does it have a certain id? Because I would try to spawn it then so I can test out if the critters thing will work out then proper... (Getting them capture without killing them instead.)
For example, I know that poofin (this snowflower as I see it ^.^') is not able to be crafted as a caged one, and when I try to capture it, it always dies instead of drop what I would need for crafting. Thought it was because I haven't got the right bug net, but well... ^.^'
the net is to be BLUE. the red one is for bugs only.
and i think not all of the critters right
for now, just got this mod. more critters and the blue bet is with the red one. the critters you catch will not move, but it'll work.

try a T2 sowing machine.
you don't use the relocator.
like i said, you need to craft a net (the blue one) at the sowing machin and use that.
if you hit critters with it, they'll die, but gives a drop of what it is.
that is the only way to get the captured critters you need.
the relocator gun has nothing to do with any mod.
If i use the relocator tube gun to capture lil critters, how would i put them in an empty critter aquarium?
