true, do you have any plans to do so? right now im using the CH-149 cormorant, the one thing i really like about that one is it has two harness points on the winch so you can rescue someone while you go up and down, if that was on this helo id never use an other helo then the lab, absolutely one of my favorite helicopters hands down

probably just outdated, I need to make a new one at some point
DontKillMePlz 18 Dec, 2020 @ 2:58am
also to the author, how to i get the winch to work in single player, obviously in multiplayer i could have someone operate it, but it says us button 2 to go down and when i hit it it doesnt do anything did i miss something inside to turn it on?

TheSnowMexican, We do not use Chinooks for SAR and this SAR Helo is out of service now sadly, but this is the CH-113 Labrador, one of the best SAR Helos to ever exist, the author is right though, nothing close to a Chinook. the CH-147F is the CF Heavy tandem rotor Helo, but its quite different, now we use the damn griffons, dont get me wrong though, the griffons are pretty cool too

where is the gas port?

How do you fix the winch? It says deprecated and there's a bit fallen off in the back.
Snowy 22 Jun, 2019 @ 5:07pm
Never mind I found an image that told me, for some reason when I looked it up before it said it was a chinook.
Snowy 18 Jun, 2019 @ 4:06pm
then tell me what the Canadian coast guard rescue chopper is, they call it a chinook but it has the same design with the bubble legs at the rear, only yours are straight.
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 17 Jun, 2019 @ 11:16pm
No. Vertol and Chinook are two different Helicopters. The only similarity is that they both habe two Rotors.
Snowy 17 Jun, 2019 @ 3:25pm
still it has the look
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 17 Jun, 2019 @ 12:53pm
Vertol. Not Chinook.
Snowy 17 Jun, 2019 @ 12:48pm
Yes, a old Canadian coast guard rescue chinook
Aether♢Astra 14 Jun, 2019 @ 6:59pm
what does the transponder do?
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 8 Jun, 2019 @ 8:50am
It's gonna be updated with a completely overhauled Version (probably tomorrow) - I will see wether I can add Hotkeys to the Harness.
Serapaxson 8 Jun, 2019 @ 5:53am
love the heli, only problem is that i cant seem to be able to go up and down while inside the harness :( making solo rescue missions impossible.
robmuzz 4 Apr, 2019 @ 6:32pm
This is the best autopilot and easiest Helicopter about!!! My daily.
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 25 Mar, 2019 @ 9:43am
Works aok for me.
Scholey Boy'o 24 Mar, 2019 @ 4:04am

Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 18 Mar, 2019 @ 12:32am
Yes. I fixed it yesterday.
gernith 17 Mar, 2019 @ 9:52pm
Are you still able to fly this guy? I can't get it off the ground?
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 17 Mar, 2019 @ 8:43am
Has been fixed. :cozytf2mug: I will eventually update it for the new instrument Panels as well.
Tomch69 16 Mar, 2019 @ 3:29pm
well i must say when it worked it was one of the best coppers i ever flew
Scholey Boy'o 16 Mar, 2019 @ 12:50pm
Thats a shame as this is by far one of the best rescue helicopters in the game if not THE best..
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 16 Mar, 2019 @ 12:03pm
No. Currently not.
Tomch69 16 Mar, 2019 @ 9:34am

Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 3:17am

On the Left Back Landing Gear Compartment.
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 31 Jan, 2019 @ 9:08am
Press "E" on the Connector to release the Connector :)
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 23 Jan, 2019 @ 1:44am
I personally prefer the Electric Connector since it doesn't require any Buttons.
NovaCypher 22 Jan, 2019 @ 5:36pm
Maybe instead of an Electric connector add a normal connector or magnet for heavy lifting?
Ironbostik [IT] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 5:11am
Thanks...I agree on originality of things, so it has to stay as you created. Good Job!
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 2:34am
Thanks man, the Boeing Vertol only comes with fixed Landing Gear - So no retractable Gear on this Version.
Ironbostik [IT] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 2:29am
Fantastic, maybe just add retractable landing gear...but is something really nicely done!
Momox 21 Jan, 2019 @ 8:56am
@Sir Murtak, I have also made an edit of Tajin's Altitude Hold with dual-mode which goes nicely along with the autopilot :) Available on my workshop
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 21 Jan, 2019 @ 1:01am
@The Dragon Within - Are you in Advanced Mode? Do you have Limited Fuel on?

Thanks Guys :)
msjeepkid 20 Jan, 2019 @ 6:49pm
IT IS GREAT:steamhappy:
Wrastor 20 Jan, 2019 @ 1:19pm
when you a simple mind and after reading the startup process for the 10542 time and still bash head off of keyboard becuase I can;'t get it to fly. I still love looking at it! ts amazing! I will fly eventually!
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 20 Jan, 2019 @ 12:15pm
Thanks for the Kind Words Momox. Your AP works very good, i would suggest to use a Altitude Hold with it tho. Dont know if it would be possible to integrate this.
Momox 20 Jan, 2019 @ 11:09am
Hey there, nice to see you could use my Autopilot :) Hope it worked out for you without too much tweaking. Awesome chopper btw, well deserved top place on workshop :)
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 20 Jan, 2019 @ 3:24am
I always try to use it, but i can see why People dont really use it that much. It's just a Pain in the Butt to set up. My Little Bird "Extractor" also has two Harnesses in Case your interested.
kyle_balls 19 Jan, 2019 @ 7:54pm
Great work, glad to see the harness being used for the first time in a billion years
kyle_balls 19 Jan, 2019 @ 7:54pm
For when your balls are too big to lift off the ground
Sir Murtak [108th]  [author] 19 Jan, 2019 @ 11:30am
Glad you like it :)
dezorn 19 Jan, 2019 @ 11:06am
