For those who've been patiently waiting, I've got a design 90% done (crammed in the shield generator), just need to finish some aesthetics and take a crapton of pics.
In any case, I'll take a wack at this today or this weekend. A10 changed a lot of things, and anything built for A9 doesn't hold up as well without some updates.
I'll post here either way :)
Looks pretty good, rootzij!
Very cool! I love it! Do you mind if I add it to the gallery?
I fixed an issue with the O2 about 10 hours after posting (a week ago). Boarding ramps can prevent O2 from passing through on the ground floor.
Anyways, I double checked that it all worked then and the ship was fully oxygenated. Like intrasonic said, make sure you have enough O2 to fill the ship off the bat.
Thanks again for a GREAT design.
There are too many "Starter CV" and "LV 10 CV's in the workshop that basically require you to either strip mine the entire planet or mine on a planet that needs a CV to reach in the first place, which sort of defeats the point :) But this one actually has a realistic bill of materials, and you can easily salvage the necessary cobalt/neodymium from the back end of the Titan and one of the (undefended) crashed ship POI's that now show up in A9.
My one complaint is that the turret location is heavily screened, but that has more to do with how this game handles thin blocks and their hitboxes.
580 hours over 3+ years... and I've been spelling it wrong this whole time
