I found about your mod while seeking about the tame leveling issues and I want to thank you for the great job you did to get people able to tame beast freely.
I did read through the various options your mod provide and some could really get me interested, but I wanted to ask first about the keybind you did set. Are they configurable or 'tied' to the Game Keybinds ?
I ask as I am one of those users who play with a specific custom keybind setting. With the kind of hands I have (that qualify easily for 'bear paws') I use F-G-H-J as my main Backward - Forward - Straff Left - Straff Right settings. So any hardcoded binds there will interfer with my playing.
Thanks in advance for any information about the binding.
@Calo :: as I told tripwire, was meaning to inform everyone, simply forgot. it happens. and you are saying I removed the powerstone.. I MOVED it to another mod, not removed .. there is a big difference, you can still get the same features if you want them with the other mod.
First you removed the powerstone tames mod to your other one and now this.
I'm not the only person on the server who can't get it to work, either. When I look at the repair log for the ship, it says that 0 crew are available for repairs, even when all 30 are sweeping for hours. Oddly, when I first arrived home with damaged planks, it said 15 crew available for repairs, 15 repairs started, and they fixed the planks. But at he next interval it was 0 crew.
I've tried it on my schooners, brigs and galleon and they all have the same issue.
Any assistance or suggestions you could give would be appreciated.
Aries :: there is a bit more to it then that. first we need to confirm.. will the ships level, with NO mod installed at all? (not this one and not the powerstone one) . If not, then it's a game bug not a mod bug.. now, if it does level correctly.. then install the powerstone one, do they still level up? if not.. then it's related to the overridexp .. have to tweak that in the game.ini to acount for what you want on the server.
in reference to the question about tamable powerstones, yes.. if you want that feature, please also install my powerstone mod .. it's sperated, but works the same. At least then , we can keep the issue with the override seperate then this current mod.
With regards to VENGEANCE issue below our server has also experienced the ship lvl issue. If you craft a ship in a normal shipyard you can lvl ur ship up to the new xp/lvl cap i have set in game.ini (OverrideMaxExperiencePointsDino) - however if you build a ship in a masterwork shipyard the ship will not gain many lvl's at all. Honestly thought it was a Atlas EA bug, but yeah we have overrides in place for higher ship lvl's but they dont work unless the ship is crafted in a normal shipyard.
Something like that, would be great from two possible perspectives.
1. If they could be used to docking boats, i.e. pulling the boat to the dock, that would be very useful.
2. If attaching to a Bollard could be treated as anchored; which means you could build in places where anchors do not seem to work, but still get the same effect.
and the second question, sure there can be a cannon limit.
