-Phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range.
(This game is such a gem!)
The problem with implementing the research is that there is a strict limitation on what you can do. It is impossible to require security 2.
You can not rename the projects and you can only use the research projects: Cold chain, Alcohol license, Frozen food supplier, Chemical supplier, Clothing supplier, Electronics supplier, Media supplier, Appliances supplier, Tools supplier, Luxury supplier, Tobacco license, Newsagent supplier, Plants and Gardening supplier & E-Cigarettes supplier.
What I am thinking of doing is locking the more exclusive and expensive products behind the Luxury supplier.
I will remove the Tier 3 demand from the products except for ammo and handguns and change the specialty store to two stores ammunition store and handguns store. The reason is that you can only have a specialty store for Tier 3 demand and you simply can not have 50%+ misc items for the gun store.
If you have any more suggestions on how to balance or improvements please let me know. Thanks for the feedback!
I'd also consider locking it behind research; it can make the early game quite easy. Perhaps requiring Security 2 (the one that unlocks Self-Checkout) would be a good idea?
The TCG mod has research included in the mod, so if you need code help, looking there might help.
That said, if I might make a balancing / QoL suggestion, can you remove the Tier 3 demand from the various table-based items?
I suggest it because IRL you don't see specific "AR-15" stores. You see gun stores. Perhaps a specialty shop for Handguns would make sense, or even for Ammo, but for each and every gun is somewhat excessive. It requires around 15 different specialty stores to accommodate the Tier 3 demand.
Perhaps a Tier 2 "Gun Store" where 50%+ are Misc items would work, or if that wouldn't work, then a Tier 3 where 50%+ is Ammo or Handguns.
The mod works on my end and should not be a conflict with any other mod then you would have atleast seen some of the items. Be aware that the items are under MISC. Good luck! If that does not work add me as friend on steam and I will see what I can do. Have a nice day!
