Holy jesus, I played this alone and I'm not sure if the AI that were in the chopper at the beginning were supposed to come with but I was alone the entire damn time. Fighting infected in a jungle at night with thick fog is something else. I eventually ran out of ammo once I reached the part where you get ambushed on that lit path in the jungle with the dead space music. I had to run back to that outlaw encampment and grab some ammo there which I only got about 3 clips. I ran out again once I reached the research station and wasn't able to find any there since I didn't search it much and I was afraid of being spotted then mauled to death. When going to the lz, I went completely around everything and snuck past the infected and just went prone for a couple minutes till the chopper came back and got me the hell outta there. Fantastic horror experience and it startled me quite a bit, especially when I hadn't been attacked in a while which always put me on edge.

Okay, a few experiments later and I think I figured it out. The AI's seem to have no trouble engaging through fog that is generated as weather. But the AI team members treat the thick fog field that is being constantly generated around the player's position due to the scenario settings as smoke and this prevents them from engaging targets with their weapons even at contact range. The game mechanics for smoke dictate that they cannot "see" the target, so they don't shoot. Not a problem with human team-mates, who just shoot anyway, but with AI, after the first contact you are alone because they're all dead.

As always, I enjoyed the mission. But if you don't want to do the whole thing alone, you'll have to get some friends to play multiplayer. Tried it with AI teammates and the fog is so thick that even though they would call out infected contacts, they wouldn't start engaging them until they were at contact range and they all got steamrolled in the first engagement. It would be useful if you'd let the server host set some of the conditions prior to game start.

Hello, your mission is still available, I subscribed, I downloaded the mods and when I want to play it, it does not execute anything. it seems that steam won't let me download to the pc. other missions by double clicking on them begins to download them and opens the lobby to execute them but yours for some strange reason does not allow.

Hey there, We tried this mission for a game night, and were unable to figure out the revive system. So we ended up playing super careful, really cool mission, didn't end it though.
How's the revive supposed to work?

There is a document on the table. If you hold space ( the logo with the searchglass) it will only show the documents. You need to scroll with your mouse to get the "pick up intel" or "pick up" command. When you picked up the document, the next objective will be unlocked.

I can understand that it can be confusing.

man, at the time of extraction, the heli arrives, the pilot exits the heli and begins to kill the zombies and does not advance in the mission.

@Yashiro N. What slot did you pick ? The first? There shouldnt be any reason why shouldnt be landing there.

Have you tried, Unsubscribed and Subscriped? Perhaps this could work? I've been puzzling at it and cant really find the reason why it doesnt work for you.

The helicopter just goes in circles when hes next to the landing spot, how do i pick player slot 1?

@Yashiro, The Heli at the start doesnt land? Weird... Do you have any other mods activated while playing? Have you tried picking player slot 1? If all of the above is Yes, let me know, I would like to help you! :)

@Showdown Samurai Sam, I could if there is enough animo for it! :) In the time between, if the mission is too hard, try to lower the difficult in server settings, you should be able to decrease the difficult manually.

@yashiro, I guesse not, I will take an extra look into the EVAC, perhaps a mistake in one of the scripts. I will try to look into this tonight and fix it (hopefully). Thanks for letting me know about the bug you have encounterd.

Very good mission. A friend and I ran through it just now.

Three bugs we encountered:
1.) When driving the jeep to the IDAP compound, disembarking the AI on the bridge-like structure caused them to refuse to move, or respond to any orders.
2.) When we reached the extraction area, there were two helicopters in the air, one to the north, just hovering a couple hundred meters out. A second one showed up from the west-ish, which hovered high above the LZ, before the north helicopter came into land.
3.) When the helicopter landed, the pilot disembarked the helicopter and ran off.

Despite those issues, very well done. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as the intel, despite several spelling errors on the intel. 5/5

@DPD29, Thanks for the information, I will fix the FPS drops tomorrow (hopefully). Tomorrow I am going to edit the final a bit to make sure the FPS stays around 50-40 stable. :) Thanks for the intel!:steamhappy:
