I haven't touched this mod in years and I don't know what's in the synergies mod at all. If it doesn't alter inventory or stashes, then it should be compatible, but make backups of your saves before you try it.

Does it still work good with synergies mod?

No idea why that would happen. The only way I'd know of to get it back would be if you had made a back-up of the stash files beforehand. I don't play this game anymore, so I'm not sure where those files are stored, but you can probably look it up.

So I made a new character, and my shared stash was emptied any idea of how I can get it back?

I made a new persong, it seems to work in this, with other mods removed, I believe I had a conflict with the BigInventory mod, and it was not possible to load the character without this mod, the "code" refuses and says that the mod is indispensible. I lost all my progress and a huge amount of gems. Sorry, no?

Well I have no explanation for this, and sadly I can't remember anything about how to make or edit mods. Everybody beware that this mod might make your stash eat gems, I guess. Sorry.

Hey I checked carefully, they just disappeared. When I open the box (not the character inventory) there is no gem division; I put the mod at the top of the list of mods. And no have this button for sort; My gems they were placed in the box.

If you've hit the "sort inventory" button I think that sends gems/socketables to the end of the last page? I never used that button so it's possible I'm wrong.

But were is socketable items? LOSTING GEMS!

Any chance you can give the shared stash an organize button as well? I tried modding it, and i can see the button ingame, but clicking it does nothing even though i have it setup exactly like the player stash (except directed at the shared stash in properties)...

The mod should work for old mod-free characters, it shouldn't mess up multiplayer, and you should be able to get achievements, but as always, make backups before you give it a try.

And don't forget that launching Torchlight with mods is a different button from launching without them. (I think? I haven't played this game in ages haha)

9 pages, I've tried to find the answer to my question but gave up.

Basically, is it backwards compatible with the regular game? if I have saves (with absolutely no mods) will this work normally or will it override something? Do I have to start new games for this to take effect? Can I play a multiplayer game with friends who do not have this mod installed? Also, can I get achievements while playing with this mod?

I've never tried any mod for Torchlight, that's why I have so many questions. Thanks in advance!

Compatible with synergies? Synergies adds a couple other pages to the inventory, would this override that, or would it cause an error?

If you're feeling brave, you could back up your current stashes and just try it. I made this one from Big Stash more or less, so it could work. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend getting everything past page 1 into characters' inventories. You may have to make some extra characters of course. Always remember to save back-ups before you try any of this!

If i have Big Stash mod already but I want to switch to this, what do I have to do to make sure that I don't lose any of my items when turning off Big Stash and using this mod instead?

The description says that it "does," not "doesn't." Try my Big Stash mod if you don't want huge inventory, or any of the other similar mods.

The description says it doesn't affect player inventory at the top, but then later says it does. There are other inventory mods, but I wanted one that only affects the stash.I think its a little crazy to imagine someone carrying 640 2-handed swords.

It would be great if this could also add 1-2 pages to Merchants. There are a lot of mods that add things to merchants, and the game handles this by placing some items over others, and this mod could fix that issue by forcing extra items onto a second page.

There already is a mod that gives a scrollbar to put more items on one page but that mod doesn't seem to play nice with other mods.

If there are issues, they are not known to me! Gems sort to the end of inventories (last page), so perhaps something has altered your page size? Deep Pockets only alters inventory/container files and a bunch of UI files (player inventory, stashes, pet inventory, and most merchants). So if any of those other mods modify those files then I guess there could be?

Gems disapear when sorting inventory, i have LurkerHUD, Unusable items are red, Deep Pockets, Evil UI Grittier Edition d2 orbs, and synergiesMOD.
Are there known issues with any of those King Lazer?

It's been a long time since I've looked at GUTS or even Torchlight, so don't quote me on this, but:

You can change the number of slots in an inventory in the INVENTORIES menu (both inventories and stashes), but take care that the number is divisible by the page size, which is 32 for most (I think), but 24 for spells inventories, due to known spells taking up the space of one row of slots. I don't know if those numbers are right, but page size equals the number of slots you see on the screen for whatever inventory/stash.

I already have labeled pages, but I guess you could remove the "/20" or whatever from it if you mean having page numbers like in a book (not sure exactly what you're asking here)
Increasing the on-screen size of inventories must be possible, as other mods do it, but I don't know anything about it.

Take a look at the transumation merchant UI file to see the nuts and bolts of paging, or look at the files changed in my mod, if that's possible, idk.

is there a quick way to edit the number of pages in guts. Perhaps a better question is where are the page number located at so they could be edited. Also any way to add label to the pages, perhaps enlarge the inventory page size (longer/wider pages) Still pretty new to guts but am slowly getting a feel for it

Try changing load order or something. I have no idea what all Synergies changes except that it is a lot.

Latest Synergie mod seems to have broken this one. I'm running Synergie, Deep Pockets and Mountains of Consumables and the only thing that's updated is Synergie and this has stopped working :(

Others have tried it and had no problems. I just depends on whether the pet mod changes the pet inventory/UI files. If Deep Pockets is later in the load order than the pet mod, I can't think of any reason there'd be a conflict.

alyu314, the regular stash should have a working sort button in it, but for some reason it's impossible to enable sorting on the shared stash.

first of all..thank u so much joey.cos the mod is working..i knew u mented that green button..but i didnt knew if u click that button..that the mod was installing automaticly..i also copy my save files in the mod save file and its working..again thank u for the good explain..now i know more people will install correctly..and will have fun with this GREAT mod..have a nys day to u all
