More than appreciated!
1. v - lua/autorun/antiheadcrab.lua:26
2. unknown - lua/includes/modules/hook.lua:84 (x709)
Keep getting this
This addon is doing ents.FindByClass 4 times for every headcrab type EVERY FRAME on the server. Better is to use a OnEntityCreated hook and just check the class of the entity that was created there.
Even worse, on the client side of things it's running ents.GetAll() on EVERY RECEIVED FRAME from the server. That is REALLY bad. HL2 maps can have hundreds of entities and it's looping through ALL of them every frame.
Today I defeated my fear and don't need this addon. GG in the comments for me.
step 1: press C
step 2: press mouse2 at the zombie
step 3: you can remove headcrab
You can do it without any tools...just with the Content Menu (default bind: C), mousing over the zombie, hitting your Secondary Fire (default bind: RMB), and then mousing over bodygroups and then mousing over "headcrab1" and hitting Primary Fire (default binds: LMB, Enter).
However, what you CAN'T do without the effect of addons, is have headcrab NPCs never appear again!
Wait, you don't ever spawn a stunstick / crowbar? It does a great job at killing headcrabs, giving a headcrab 5000 health won't stop a crowbar, and the stunstick will kill any non-poison headcrab.
Would be easy for gta san andreas cleo mods.
so you don't have to see the fucking bastards called headcrabs.
