This is not on nexus. I have it here so I never saw a reason to upload it on nexus (unless it's just much better to do so through them)
I'll see what I can do about the soul gem cost. Originally the process was in place to avoid breaking the game by making really cheap scrolls that sell for quite a bit (when you have everything of course). There's mods out there that allow for soul gem combination of course but I'll see what can be done.
I'm not a great mathematician, and only a little failure with programing. But, I'm hoping you get the idea. I think such a dynamic would make this mod so much more appealing and useful that it would blow your socks off.
I'll admit. I've played the game more like a thief, using stealth, and ranged weapons rather than a lot of magic and brute force. Unfortunately, the game penalizes stealth when you use magic. If you use magic, it alerts your enemies to your presents and location where, if I shoot someone with an arrow from a distance while they are separated from others, it only sets off minor alarms if any at all. Or, I can sneak up on enemies around the perimeters, silently killing them off one by one with a dagger (when my sneaking perks are high enough).
Anyway, food for thought for your next project, or update.
First and foremost is that, often, when I have plenty of petty soul gems for making one of the key ink's, your mod seems to think I don't have any petty soul gems at all! Rather discouraging. What's the point if I can't even craft the ink.
Second: even with my character at Level 50, I still couldn't make any more than two spells. Perhaps you could tweak this so that you can make a scroll for what ever spells you know (within certain perimeters, like destruction, or healing), with a formula calculating the strength of the scroll fashioned using the spell difficulty level, character’s magic level, and perks. ((Spell Lvl + Magic Lvl [+/-] % per Perk Lvl)) [+/*] Player Lvl) = Scroll Strength
In other words:
The Spell Level strength + or - a percentage of the Magic Level (based on the level of his perks)
Then add or multiply that strength by the Player's base Level.

Hopefully a few screenshots can help me out?
That was my first idea. But the alchemy engine is based off of combining like ingredients with similar effects and doesn't really allow building like the cookpot/leather stand/forge.
Petty Soul Gem must be filled.

I have the screenshots in order now, I'm just asking for a little time as I'm busy with studying for a licensing exam.
I thank everyone for their patience with me, in all honesty I was just throwing something out and never expected it to pic up as much speed as it has. I'm currently studying for a licensing exam so I could be slow with updates.
I was thinking about another update to add, for higher-level scrolls with the same effects of Shalidor's Scrolls of Insight and the like, as well as allowing players to craft Powdered Mammoth Tusk (as a reagent) using Mammoth Tusks. Perhaps even a few more ideas, I've been brainstorming, I have.
