Anyone have an issue where the Young Prince doesn't play nice with Wakigawa Animations for sleeping? I can't find a patch so I thought maybe it's just something on my end.

Only companion I can't get is Kuga. Won't let me but other then that great mod

Just a theory with the aforementioned "Ah! A cannibal!" screams. Would the presence of Kuga in a squad or nearby, possibly be triggering that seeing as he is a cannibal himself?

I know in my game random NPCs freak out at some of my Fogmen/Banished Hive and call them cannibals (though they could be referring to another modded race of mine! Who knows?)

Downloading this now. Looks cool!

Hm, This mod has Wilful Murder as a 1 of 4 residents of Bastion, with only 3 buildings. This causes him to take a building from the others. But if it's abandoned, oh well.

your mod seems to mess with non vanilla buildings data unintended , I had problems with cannibal hq and other places to spawn furniture etc to spawn correctly, after deleting this mod everything worked fine again.

i downloaded the mod and i couldnt find truthful, it might be my fault though, i had set up a base on the plateau near the tiny settlement before i had installed the mod and it was controlled by dust bandits so i killed them all and when i installed the mod she wasnt there so i imported and it said it belonged to the holy nation again but she still wasnt there and all the buildings were ruined

@No Name - Fixing the bugs that have been posted here (or at least trying to... The FCS can be very obtuse). Also expanded the random banters a bit, including a few more for lovely blooming romances and kawaii tsundere Truthful [@Davyos]. Fixed the Red Kent unique bug, I had a alternate spawn set but he himself wasn't set as unique. Good catch on that.

Is Red Kent not set as a unique character? After recruiting him I ended up heading back into Brink a few weeks later and in the police station there 2 more of him imprisoned there.

I have a request, please expand Red Kent and Truthful banter list cause 1.Its great & 2.They only have 1 main banter and its gets play over and over again to the point I have to separate them in order for other banters to have a chance. Other than that everything else is fantastic.

@raspberryfh - If I recall correctly I think she's just wearing the merc leather armor and samurai clothpants. Tech Hunter faction (if you use color mods or something). She should also have a crossbow I think. I tested it again with just Reactive World and she's there. Not sure what to tell you, but I'm glad you've enjoyed the mod thus far.

I do have Reactive World on. I wandered around the town too but there are so many samurai there. Does she have something distinctive to make her stand out from them?

@raspberryfh - If you have some kind of world overhaul mod that is putting Drin into a world state that is not in the vanilla game (Tengu Alive / Tengu Dead states) she won't show up. Also, she tends to wander Drin itself rather than sit in the bar like most other recruits so she can be a little hard to spot. I was able to find her with Reactive World and Living World mods so I'm not sure. I'll look into it.

Liking the mod a lot. I'm in Drin but can't find Calm for the life of me. I even tried an imported game even though I don't think there were any changes since I downloaded the mod. Any suggestions?

Just dropped a pretty big update. Calm added to Drin, many new lines added for all characters, and I also migrated over some stuff to a new implementation that should really cut down on any potential conflicts with all of the dialogue overhaul mods that have been coming out. There are probably some broken things in here, but hopefully nothing too gamebreakingly annoying. It's hard to test every little thing without spending ten billion years ingame.

Truthful has a generic dialogue attached to her about HM allowing drinking but the conversation calls her a guy might want to adjust that line to say person or something so it fits her or cut that one out.

Yeah nothing on your end I'd worry about, maybe getting her to spawn elsewhere due to the world state would be neat and even better than it already is though.
I circumvented it by making some quick edits after I figured them out in FCS by adding her as a resident to the hub, bar squad did not work however which is due to my inexperience with the editor. Absolutely loving it though!
And curious to know about the progress on the other Companions, love the idea of Smudge!

@Flester - You've got it figured out. I think I'm not noticing these things because I must have some mod that already changes those parameters. I've made the edit to give The Young Prince's race immunities on par with other hivers. Good catch, my guy.

@Rinklestein - I think the Dust Bandits taking over tiny settlement happens when the dust king dies or something? When a town override occurs, the entire contents of the town are replaced with a specifically defined list of stuff. Unless you can roll back the world state to default by importing without keeping dead/alive uniques (to bring the dust king back to life), I can't access the new town override spawn list. I have confirmed that Truthful will spawn in a new game even in reactive world's new tiny settlement, although it won't really make sense with her recruitment dialogue. I'll think about how I can fix this, but I'm not sure that I can without a patch or just moving her elsewhere. Maybe roaming squads won't disband when the town override occurs, I'll keep testing.

@Honest Merchant - Thanks for the pathfinding fix! But now that you explained how that worked i think the limb issue is a similar problem. My Young Prince has a skeleton right leg so his left leg is his only original, and i realized through experimentation that his leg is getting injured in terrain that would injure human feet if a character isn't wearing shoes, so acid, Black Desert, etc. I assume that deadhive isn't supposed to be going through such terrain anyway so they aren't given the normal immunity that other hivers get.

Anyone having conflicts with Reactive World and this mod? Its kind of weird as Dust Bandit's moved into Truthful's settlement before I could recruit her. She's still listed as a resident on that map as the holy nation faction and is still listed as being alive in the platoon files. Can't find her even with tracking her coordinate to the dot from the save files.:steamsad:

@Flester - Thanks for bringing that to my attention. There's actually a water avoidance stat (aka how much they go out of their way to not swim), which I didn't know about! It's at 0 for deadhive by default so as much as I dislike editing race stats specifically, I set it to 6 to match greenlanders. That should fix pathing. As for the limb problem, I honestly have no idea and I have yet to encounter it so I'll keep looking into it.

@Yolo_Yolo_Can_I_Solo? - Weird, she's supposed to be a normal greenlander. The .body file is supposed to include race and it seems to work for me on a new game with no other mods, but maybe a recent patch broke something. I've added a race overwrite since she's the only one without one. Thanks for patching that hole for me.

Having some problems with The Young Prince. His pathfinding is consistently worse than everyone else, i can have the whole group assembled and selected and when i give a move order everyone takes the same path, usually the path of least resistance, but TYP will go out of his way to go through water, he'll actually take longer routes in order to swim to a location rather than walk, so i don't think it's an issue of him just taking the most "direct" route.

The second problem is, i think, unrelated, but TYP's left leg keeps just randomly dropping to about -50 health and crippling him. I'll be walking through clear terrain, no combat or negative weather effects or anything, and my crew just slows to a crawl because TYP falls on his face and his leg ragdolls.

I do use most of your companions in my squad and TYP is the only one that's been giving me these problems.

@Soyboy extraordinaire - The only change I've made to Mongrel is the addition of one new character to the permanent bar recruits. I've confirmed that some other people aren't having going to Mongrel and recruiting the new character.

I know Mongrel historically causes some problems. Lots of weather effects there that may crash your system if you have low specs or quirky drivers. See if you crash on a clean save no mods, verify your cache integrity, etc. Also try the Compressed Textures Project mod. I can't find any particular reason this mod should be causing issues, but I'll keep it in mind.

@Yolo$wagger - Sorry for the late response. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but yeah, you need to import to get new characters to generate.

I've tried to address unwanted callouts (especially about cannibals). I really wish the devs would release a thorough guide to the construction set, especially since there are a lot of bogus functions left in, but alas. I took a break for a while but I'll be continuing to support this mod.
