@kag123456 You should be able to craft the steel bolts with steel smithing, have you checked everywhere in the list?

i have only steel, need dwarfen either?

God bless you, even with the console commands I can't get bolts and it was kinda driving me crazy every freakin time !! I think it's so fckin retarded to be forced to start Dawnguard quests just for bolts...

The main point of joining the vampire faction is the the unique vampire lord form...except it is not unique. You can join the Dawnguard and become a Vampire Lord anyway thus getting all the perks of the Dawnguard membership and the ability to transform. You won't get the rings of blood magic and the necklaces of night power but you don't really need them in the first place. If letting Vampire faction vampires craft bolts is "overpowered" then joining the Dawnguard is downright hax.

no offence for what i am about to say as i can see were you are coming from but the point of not beeing able to craft cross bow bolts as a vampire is so that thair is a reson to join the dawngaurd other wise the vampire side would be over powered sorry for the spelling im realy tired

give the bolts themselves an enchantment, like petrification.

You should make bolts of different metal types. Like orcish, ebony, glass, etc. I was disappointed when the vanilla game only had steel and dwarven.
