@kooky112 As far as i'm aware when you cook the mod from the development kit the files are encrypted as to prevent plagiarism I assume. However, there is talk about Atlas being in the process of moving to UE5. If this is the case I will likely re-make Atlas Extras.

Hey @Pants as a modder for a different game, can't you sub to your own mod and get the files back that way? Sure you wouldn't have any of the older versions or anything but it's definitely worth a short considering how popular this mod is.

@ legionkiller_8705, sadly not. I did try in the past to update atlas extras. However, the development kit at the time was in a complete mess and I couldn't use it. sadly I now no longer have access to the original source files and cannot update it or recompile a new mod as the assets i made are now gone too.

@pants would it be possible to ask to update this mod? Not sure what that would take to do

@Vearkstedet, I have not played Atlas for around 3 years now and I cannot recall how the hive works, i'm sure though with all the updates in the time i have not played the mod is probably broken in part, i apologise i cannot be of more help to you.

Question on the Bee hive what are the 4 slots inside of them used for? If nothing I think that you should make it where you can add fertilizer to them and it will auto fertilize and water the plots

Yeah, I suspect it's only a matter of time before more mods no longer work as a result of the devs laziness in keeping the dev kit updated for modders. They're keeping Atlas as a side project for when they get bored with Ark, little else these days.

Props to any modder who at least tries, I'm well aware it isn't easy. Hope they sort it out for you soon, PANTS.

Maybe there is someone further up that needs to be informed - it looks like there are unfortunately people out there that just don't want to do anything, or they want to try make out that the idea/suggestion was theirs alone and not from the community - so sad - we can only hope that those people are not the reason that games like Atlas end up dead

I have been trying now for the past couple of days to get this working in the Dev kit and I get nothing but crashes I know the Atlas modding community are crying out for an update to the Dev kit but its not looking likely any time soon,

the question was asked about a possible update and the response from an official source was "Ill bring it up" so it sounds like its not being thought about let alone worked on

So for now there is not much I can do sadly.

I loved playing Atlas until the update that made Battleeye cause the game to not work - you couldn't access anything or your inventory - this caused the game to be unplayable - I sadly have left my base and everything to despawn because of this and my poor pets to starve to death - I will now have to start from scratch and I do hope that modders out there will still support this game for those of us that really loved the game - tks for your contribution

No promises but I have just loaded the Atlas Dev Kit again to see if I can update this mod fingers crossed I can but reading about issues others are having and the lack of support being offered by Wildcard/Grape shot Games i'm not going to hold my breath :)

I like this mod alot! but having some trouble with the bee hive :/ cant get it to work and that really sad. Cant you make some kind of a guide? Or an update on the mod!

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure the compost bin to be placeable on a ship?

This is just what we all need to make our bases/towns more real - tks so much for all the hard work and the many long hours it took to make - its modders like you and Eco and others that make playing the game more enjoyable - keep on modding and we will keep on supporting you :)

Seems to be working just fine for me in single player.

this mod is still working so far correct? Or should we wait until the new one is out. This is one of my favorite mods.

PS the composter still works like an S+ item collector for poop its not making fertilizer but i dont mind as now i dont have to walk around looking for literal crap lol

@Pants ill give that a try, sadly my little farm is kind of SOL right now because apparently there is an issue with blackwood and you can not at this time use crop plots placed on "wood" to consolidate your crops into 1 location .. so thats great :/ we found this cool cave for a pirate cove type gig on blackwood but obviously the rain cant get to my crops. what i would LOVE to see is a buildable beehive like on ARK (was that vanilla ARK or a mod? i cant remember). it sucks that there are so few quality of life mods for this game. looking forward to seeing updates its a need thats for sure!

@cynthiamb88 I believe you just connect the irrigation pipes to it, I have not used the MOD for some time so i'm not even sure if any of the updates to the game have broken anything.

This is needed for Blackwood servers.

@everyone Really sorry about this been having some issues with my System and the Atlas devkit having to re-download the damn thing and struggling to get things done in general. i have just fixed the issue with engrams not being usable and also added fertilized eggs to an exclusion list for the egg collector.

Skills can't be learned. I can't light them up.

You need to add a option to disable Fertalized egg pickup... Its kind of anoying i have to go half way across my island just to hatch some chicken eggs

did you remove the compostbin?

The honeycomb is unusable
The reason is that adding grass to produce honey can cause server crash.
I hope to fix this problem as soon as possible.

There is an issue with the fertilizer crafted in the compost bin not going into the crop plots so for now just use the compost bin as a poop collector i'm working on a fix now but I wont be updating until tomorrow. sorry for the inconvenience.

@MNDayDream make sure your server is updated to V1.05 i had to hot fix the MOD shortly after updating it.

after this update today, we cannot learn the skill and a lot of our server members are unable to join server due to this mod

Also the compost bin work ok but we cannot use the fertilizer, the game don't reconise it as fertilizer.

@Kliern are you still having issues ? I have it running on 2 different servers now with no issues.

@ ZzzSmileYzzZ you put thatch in it for now I have had some reports though of it crafting the honey instantly i'm going to look into what could causing it i'm not getting the issue in the Kit though.

How those the Bee Hive works? How you generate the honey? You just put it on and wait or need to had some kind of flowers or another resource?
