For realz? Well damn, should've done a bit more research on that I suppose. Much obliged sir!

That's probably what's causing the issue - switch over to the Mod Pack. Just about everything in the Suite is in the Pack, which is made for the latest version.

I'm still using the Mod Suite, honestly I saw the mod pack and didn't really know the difference. I saw where Carl said he wouldn't be updating the Suite, so I assumed the pack was something entirely different.

Are you using the Mod Suite for 1.02 or the Mod Pack for 2.0 and up?

I wasn't even using the theme music mod. I usually just patch the game for editing purposes, longer names and alphabetizing rosters, rings, etc.

I haven't used the entrance music mod before, could be that. I know it's incredibly helpful for the edits that don't have a theme set, though.

That could be it, I unpatched the game and played a match and didn't notice it so who knows. Carl is advising against using the mod if you have any version later than 1.02 I think, might just be a bug.

I've never noticed that before. Is it the match background music playing early? Maybe try turning down that in the settings to see if that's the culprit.

Can make a Singo Takagi for sure.

Last question about this I swear.....I did a test run with the BGM, and it worked great except it seems like the default Fire Pro theme is also playing in the background. I didn't really realize it until the 2nd guy came out and I noticed the tune. Any way around that? Many thanks sir, have a good one :)

Truly appreciate the help man, and again, thank you so much for all these wonderful edits. They look great, the logic always works well, and you're excellent about updating them.

Let me know if you ever crack the code on an easier port to PS4. Also, any plans on a Shingo Takagi?
TheAvenger3  [author] 6 Feb, 2019 @ 7:18am
Correct. I wish songs could upload with edits, but it's not possible. YouTube works as a source.

I know, the PS4 edit site is a lot harder to use. I'd love to push everything I have in the Workshop over there, but porting takes so much time. If there's ever a quicker way, I'll gladly upload all of my edits there.

Ok, I think I'm following you. So you're not actually providing an mp3 file with the edit, you're just telling us what the file would need to be named in order to work properly with your CAW. I would need to provide the mp3 myself, right?

I used to use Youtube and a file converter for the old WWE 2k games, is that still the best place to find wrestler themes? Thanks again man, I only wish I could get all your amazing work magically converted to my PS4 version at home. The workshop function on that version is sooooo garbage compared to Steam.

Thanks!

Good question - you don't need mods for the music to play, but you do need a music file in the game's BGM folder. If you have a file name that matches what I used for the edit, it'll play on entrances and when that edit wins.

If you installed to the default location, add music files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fire Prowrestling World\BGM.

Hey man, I really, really appreciate all your work. 90+ % of my CAWs are yours, they're fantastic. I have a dumb question...I see that you frequently list theme music mp3s, but I never hear them when playing the game. Is there something I'm supposed to do to activate them? Is it a mod function?
