I'll try my best to remove the timer.
As for the auto-revival feature, I might decreased it to one, like Last Man on Earth, instead of two.

I was looking for something like this (specials only, 4 players mod), however, the mutation makes the game way too easy and boring. You should remve the respawn timer for specials to make them come non-stop, and also remove the feature that makes players get up on their own once downed.
