it unfotunetly stopped working since the 1.46 update,
I really like it, And i can't find any other ones as realsitic as this one, So i really hope it'll get updated at some point :steamthumbsup:

From 1-4 the rectangle in front of the gear number is at the bottom, then it swithes to the top for gears 5-8.

That's not manual mode. That's manoeuvre mode, which I think keeps it in the lowest gear.

Found a video how the manual mode display work exactly :

So basically it's an additional icon that display right of the gear, so to replicate it I think you would need 2 instances of ID 1310, with the right one only display M when manual is activated, or nothing in automatic mode
