Hi ! This mod only remove Xcom Squad and Giant Robot.
You loose the ability to build paratrooper because they become obsolete once Nanotechnology is researched. Thats the vanilla behavior of the game.
You would need an additional mod to do that, more something like a unit replacement. A mod that replace the XCOM squad with a stronger paratrooper for example.
This mod is very light weight only few lines of codes. A new unit Mod is more complex but yes its doable.

Hi Adam, it seem to me that there is another MOD conflicting with this one, you cab try a fresh new game in single player with only this mod enabled to test if it work properly. Then with trial and error you can identify wich mod conflict.
I dont know about multiplayer modded games though. Good luck!

If I have a civilization that has a UU that replaces the XCOM or Giant Death Robot, will that UU be locked as well?
Ok, it seems like mod won't work to my existing save games, but if I start a new game it works flawlessly with my other mods.
as said in the troubleshooting section, first try the mod alone.
Disable all mods except this one, start a fresh new game from the mod menu and if you dont see those 2 units in the tech tree everything work perfectly.
Beyond that i cant do anything about those 3rd party mods since i dont own them. Its probable that there is a an incompatibility problem. The way to test it is stated above.

Thanks a lot!.I did a reinstall of ll the mods as it wasnt the only one it wasnt working and now its working like a charm!
If you can build it, the mod isnt installed properly, id suggest you follow the troubleshooting section written in the mod description.
I am playing with Ironman Mod. This is a 8 day game and 3,000 turns... I just realise GDR are still activated and that's the only thing that is going to ruin it for me when I get to that stage. I am far off it yet though.

it doesnt remove the congress related resolution thau, i think this guys used my mod as base code for his collection, he mentions it in another of his mod and he dont know how to remove the resolution, maybe ill coment on his mod and help him if i have time.

yah i will for sure check out your Eras Modern Age Mod since it won't have nukes in that era. Keep up the good work.

there is already a mod in the workshop that disable Nukes.
You can also use the Era mods i made if you want to restrict the tech tree to a maximum given age. (one that doesnt have nuke for example).

Also, I second this guy: making a mod for taking out only XCOM would be great (since there's already one to remove the robot)
1 to disable the giant death robot and 1 to disable xcom? Because if i play with This Unit: http://www.picknmixmods.com/mods/ea211697-3e5d-485a-8aad-4e58a156eef5/mod.html I wanna have the big robots ingame! :)
