it seems as far as conversations are concerned the datajack i installed while in the training room doesn't seem to count, can't recall if that's going to be an issue on some of the missions.

The heal 1-4 spells are missing, despite that i'm loving this mod.
Vozen 13 Mar, 2014 @ 1:26am
Odd question, is it possible to have a etiquettes add/remove fuction? I ask because I was thinking of a troll run, but my addiction to etiquettes needs to be fullfilled...
Ashram 11 Mar, 2014 @ 1:35pm
Yo Firesnake, I love this mod to put eyes on different armors on different characters. Any chance of throwing in the new Dragonfall armor/equipment sets? Great work, an essential, well-crafted tool :D
Grey_Death 8 Mar, 2014 @ 12:35am
Any chance of getting a Karma remover/reset?
Sagacious_Loon 3 Mar, 2014 @ 2:39pm
Gimme a heads up when you get the new Dragonfall ruleset up and running. I'd assume they modified the core system so that other UGC could use them.
Janos Biro 30 Jan, 2014 @ 5:07pm
Great work, it was just what I needed to fix my character. Thanks for doing this. And the "save anywhere" system really works! The design is also very good and the dialogs are funny. BUT I'm missing one thing: an arena for Matrix testing. It would be great if could add several difficult levels to test my hacking skills.
DiscoVivaldi 18 Jan, 2014 @ 1:19pm
Add this mod to Nexus also. I have a DRM-free copy and I want to play/use some mods too!
megid2 6 Jan, 2014 @ 1:11pm
Very nicely done! I like the eater too :)

I suppose you haven't found a fix for the essence hole problem either? (during the christmas days, I tried the editor, googled and finally edited the SRR wiki a bit)
http://shadowrun-returns.wikispaces.com/Essence+Hole

Also, weird thing happened the other day. I had some outfits that got deleted from stash during UGC char transfer. Apparently, the "owned" tag was still set so I could not re-buy my favourite outfit. If you happen to know how to remove/recalculate those "owned" tags, that would be a nice 4th option for the eater...

Pretty sweet work, dude. This and the save-anywhere stuff is great. Kudos.
redtm3ss 26 Dec, 2013 @ 12:34am
this mod makes testing fun
fredingue 26 Aug, 2013 @ 8:23am
Hi. Nice work !
Some issues :
- 1 asked for a straight10 millions, but some cyber were not available to me. I retried with another char that asked 8 times for 1 million and could buy anything he wanted. Strange !
- Some eye cyber have an arm icone
Firesnakearies  [author] 18 Aug, 2013 @ 6:12pm
Good suggestion veevoir. The new version I just uploaded has what you asked for.
veevoir 15 Aug, 2013 @ 7:06am
The ugc is very hadny, though I have one suggeston: split SSC cyber into normal/alpha/beta/delta/all at once through a conversation tree, because loading time is enormous for all of them at once.. Not ot mention filtering through all the items is a huge pain.
Same could be done for weapons.
celticdefender 13 Aug, 2013 @ 2:27pm
is nice but when ever i transfer the toon over to do a replay i have all my skills and only half the stuff i buy im missing my data jack money and clothes and weapons and drones
NeVeRLiFt 11 Aug, 2013 @ 8:12pm
This is the best, thanks for this great mod!
Firesnakearies  [author] 11 Aug, 2013 @ 7:06pm
Hey, sorry about the long delay on this update. I really wanted to get the new version of the SSC out there, but I'd already started working on changes to the mod, and they weren't done/working yet, so I couldn't publish a new version. This update took forever, things kept going wrong and not working the way I wanted them to, so it took more work to get ready than I expected. The good news is, this version does include the absolute newest version of SSC, including the outfits (and of course the upgraded cyberware). The four difficulty levels in the Arena now are a huge improvement in both usefulness and fun, but they were tough to get right, especially making it work perfectly with the save anywhere system.
RodeTovenaar 9 Aug, 2013 @ 10:58am
As another quick update, would you mind adding the alpha/beta/delta cyberware inventory to the SSC merchant?
Sandow50 9 Aug, 2013 @ 8:56am
3/3

-High damage single shot bolt sniper rifles. The 5.56 guns in the game do 10-16 per shot. A 7.62 round has roughly 3 times the energy and a 12.7 round has more than 10 times the energy. A single shot from a 12.7 can drop an elephant and an elephant is a lot bigger than a troll.

-Might be hard to manage the art for it, but mechanised armor like what some of the lonestar wear with a datajack requirement and strength/hp buffs would be good high end additions.

Feel free to tell me to take a hike if none of this blows your skirt up though.
Sandow50 9 Aug, 2013 @ 8:56am
2/3

-Leveled spells with damage to keep pace with guns. A full auto hit with a machinegun can do 64 damage for 2AP and with haste 4 you can shoot twice and reload every round. Nothing a mage can throw comes close to this level of damage output. Casting requirements that only certain races could achieve would be cool. Heal 2-5 as well as heal over time spells would be good too.

-Heavy guns with fairly high strength requirements. An elf walking around with an 80 pound M2 heavy machinegun is absurd even with their strength at the cap but a troll with 11 str? Why not?
Sandow50 9 Aug, 2013 @ 8:55am
Cool little build. Nice to get an idea of how builds will perform toward the endgame. There are a few things that struck me as good additions to what you have built upon already. Mostly stuff that addresses the lack of endgame balance in the base game.

-Moderately high cost, low essence implants with bonuses other than +base stat. Since there seem to be hard caps (for implants but not armor...) on things like strength and body, arms that either give decent hp bonuses, hit bonuses or perhaps melee damage bonuses would actually make them attractive choices for high karma players. As it stands, only move by wire is an atractive choice over free essence.

-Cloned tissue to remove chrome and restore essence.
bboy_damo 9 Aug, 2013 @ 4:44am
Can you release an update with the new SSC cyberware?
Chuck 8 Aug, 2013 @ 12:12pm
Thank you for the info Yinepuhotep! I thought maybe that was the issue, and it makes perfect sense that it's by default. Please keep up the fantastic work on this mod, it's very useful!
yinepuhotep 8 Aug, 2013 @ 8:20am
DMS also won't accept any packs that are dependent on DMS. That was the problem that tracker fixed yesterday. Even if you use a cooked pack, if it's dependent on DMS, when you try to link it to DMS, you get an infinite recursion loop. Not a good thing.
Firesnakearies  [author] 7 Aug, 2013 @ 6:03pm
In order to make DMS dependent on SSC or any other content pack, or in order to add any data files to DMS, they have to be in .bytes format, also known as being "cooked" files. The normal files that the Editor makes are .txt, so DMS won't accept them.
Firesnakearies  [author] 7 Aug, 2013 @ 6:02pm
That sounds like it wouldn't be a problem at all, sttr413. I don't think the number of variables matters, it's just having lots of assets on the screen or trying to load at once that's an issue.
yinepuhotep 7 Aug, 2013 @ 12:31pm
Tracker just updated SSC to fix that problem. All that's needed is for any packs that depend on SSC to update to Tracker's latest files. There WAS a problem, because the editor makes everything dependent on DMS by default, and it wasn't noted anywhere in the docs. And let's face it: when you're writing content as extensive as this stuff, it's the little things like that that can trip you up.
Chuck 7 Aug, 2013 @ 8:09am
My editor crashes when I try to make DMS dependent on this, or SSC. Are they dependent on DMS? If so, why?
Mercs 7 Aug, 2013 @ 6:46am
I'm talking about a module with aprox. 13 scenes forming a city, all of them small-to-medium size. With 3-6 active (dialogue, quest-related) NPCs in each. Big locations/too much NPCs loaded at the same time shouldn't be a problem.

But I still wonder if there would be an issue with an engine handling too much variables at the same time. What do you think?
Firesnakearies  [author] 7 Aug, 2013 @ 4:33am
Probably not very well, because I don't think the engine of this game can handle too much in one Scene. Too big of a map, or too many NPCs, and it would bog down a lot.
Mercs 7 Aug, 2013 @ 4:30am
I have a question. If you can save everything via "modular" variables, does that mean creating an open-world mod with no spawn/quest/dialog issues is possible?
Mercs 7 Aug, 2013 @ 3:41am
Great mod. Thank you.
Firesnakearies  [author] 7 Aug, 2013 @ 1:24am
Ah, unfortunately, in order to use any of the weapons or cyberware from Tracker's Street Samurai Catalog pack, the content you want to play in must already have those files in it, or must have Street Samurai Catalog as a dependency.
Under A Bleeding Sun 6 Aug, 2013 @ 5:48pm
Stupid question probably, How do I get this to work in other games? I have the Street Sam file uploaded into my directory, but when I import my character to a new game his gear is just gone. I'm sure I probably need to do something, but I don't know what it is. Thanks.
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 4:17pm
Well, the actual files for the Street Sam Catalog stuff that I put into my pack are .txt files, but to add something to DMS it has to be .bytes files. So you'd need to get the cooked version of the files from Tracker, but he hasn't been able to re-publish the latest version (the version with all the cyberware) yet, due to Steam problems. He might have them uploaded somewhere though. Leave him a message on the Street Samurai Catalog page and see what he says.
Gimmelots 5 Aug, 2013 @ 2:32pm
Ahh, I see. Yeah, that slot system in the game engine needs some serious re-working. Also, is there a way to get this nifty stuff into DMS? Thanks and love your mod!
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:56pm
I think Tracker said that he put Wired Reflexes in the eyes slot so that Street Samurai could have both Wired Reflexes and one of the other body items such as Bone Lacing or Dermal Sheathing.
Gimmelots 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:01pm
Uh...why are wired reflexes in the "eyes" slot?
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 5:54am
Thanks wazza.

Just pushed a small update, nothing changed in the mod, just a small possible fix.
wazza 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:54am
Just did and it works fine, importing an old toon is slow though so maybe that's where people get lockups?
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:43am
Wazza, have you tried using this mod while the SSC was removed from your content?
wazza 5 Aug, 2013 @ 1:41am
Working fine for me, version 1.62. I have the SSC installed as well, dated 2013/08/05 but it doesn't have the new cyber stuff. Unsubbed SSC, deleted it, reinstalled and still the same but this mod is working great and has all the goodies.
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 12:47am
Okay, I'm officially confused. I have no idea what's going on with this thing now. When I test it in my game, it works fine, and I don't have the SSC subscribed. What version number does it say for my mod on your content screen? Is it 1.62?
Vhaidara 5 Aug, 2013 @ 12:41am
I am able to load it up normally, without the SSC downloaded. However, Tracker still didn't show up for me. So I went, subbed SSC, and restarted. Still loaded right, still no Tracker.
Firesnakearies  [author] 5 Aug, 2013 @ 12:37am
Really? It's still locking up without the SSC pack downloaded? I can't understand why that would be. Were you starting a new game, or loading a save?

Is this still happening to anyone else?
Ima Lozer 4 Aug, 2013 @ 6:44pm
It still locked up for me on load, but I downloaded the Street Samurai Catalog v2 and it's all good now. It appears it is still dependant.
Nairagorn 4 Aug, 2013 @ 5:00pm
Awesome
Firesnakearies  [author] 4 Aug, 2013 @ 4:24pm
And now Tracker and the Street Samurai Catalog goodies are back in. This is his NEWEST version, including a whole bunch of really cool cyberware. And this time it will actually work for everyone, with no dependencies.
Firesnakearies  [author] 4 Aug, 2013 @ 2:24pm
I had to temporarily remove Tracker and the Street Samurai Catalog guns, due to some technical issues. I'll have them back in shortly!
