Я так и не понял как это запустить. Кажется надо сделать ещё кучу шагов по установке непонятно чего. Пошаговой инструкции нет, что нужно делать знает видимо только автор. В общем слишком много возни для небольшого мода, пойду на ютубе посмотрю прохождение.

You might need to restart your Synergy client after switching to Black Mesa on the server. There are several models/materials/etc that are cached on the client when starting on certain mount points. When the mount point changes, a lot of things will break client-side including conflicting models and animations. The only fix for 56.16 (regular) is to restart your client every major mount point change.

By invisible in game, I mean on the dedicated server with the Black Mesa maps running. On other maps/vanilla maps, they show up as normal/vanilla.

Thank you for the tips. I'll take a look at it, I've been using the "rcon" command this afternoon, but the commands in-game would be more convenient for me. I've installed the Black Mesa mod support thanks to your guide, and it runs perfectly on the server. It looks even better than the one I paid for on Steam with an ENB and a few HD graphic mods.

I realized that custom weapons came with the Black Mesa support mod (or the sourcemod itself), I then uninstalled my current custom weapons by deleting their folders like custom/AR2/(my AR2 skin files), in order to see the new ones that came with the BM mod, but now they show up as invisible in game. I'm kind of confused. Any idea why ?

Yes, you will most likely need to run the .bat to launch the server each time. For admin commands, for the most part you can just type stuff directly in the server console. If you want to use admin commands in-game, then you would need something like SourceMod and add your SteamID in to the admins_simple.ini in Synergy\synergy\addons\sourcemod\configs\admins_simple.ini
Then you can use sm_admin in console or !admin in chat to open a menu.
The custom directory of the server is the same sort of thing as your manually installed maps, at the same path relative to the server Synergy\synergy\custom\

Hello, I've installed both SynDS27015 and SoucemodInstall. I have a few questions though:

- Do I have to run SynDSinstall27015.bat everytime I want to launch the server ? By pressing (R)un with auto-restart.

- How do I use admins commands ingame ? I'd like to run/change maps. I also found out how to configure my server at the start by modifying the server2.cfg. in synergy/synergy/cfg.

- How do I install maps for my server ? I can't really find the "custom directory of the server" you talked about. Is there supposed to be a file in synergy/synergy/cfg where I would put your map supports? I always installed them manually in my synergy/synergy/custom folder until now.

That is mostly all that you need. Then you just have to get these supports and place them in the custom directory of the server.

As the name of the script entails, it will be running the server on port 27015. Although, if you have SourceMod installed, you will be able to run a forked server with rf at the first prompt where you can put in a custom port to run on.

The Syndsinstall27015.renametodotbat is the dedicated server that will set everything up.
You click on it, then on that page, right click "Raw" and click "Save Target As" and put it in a folder where you want the server to be installed. Then rename it to end in .bat so it is Syndsinstall27015.bat to make it runnable, then run it.
There will be prompts that will walk you through installing the server with SourceMod and a list of plugins that you can choose from.

Good evening. To pick up what you said last time, how do I get the max out of your mod supports ?

If I understand correctly, I at least need SynFixes and SynWeps (that last one for Entropy). Do I need more ? Also, if I am right, I need a dedicated server, in opposition to a P2P server, which is what I play on with my friend, since I'm hosting.

How do I install everything, where do I start ? Do you have a full tutorial ? I know nothing of "Source Modding" (is that even source modding?).

Oh, forget about it, i just saw i have dropped the setup installer on the sourcemods folder LOL... I thought that the mod archives were already extracted without the need of a installation...sry about my mistake lol

Is it named "Alchemilla" in your sourcemods directory? If so, does it list Alchemilla at the top in your console when you start up Synergy?

"Download and install Silent Hill: Alchemilla to sourcemods which is located in:
Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
If you are on the Synergy 18.xx beta, you don't have to do any additional steps other than subscribe to the addon.
Then copy the folder called 1650998121 located in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520
and paste in: Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom"

I did everything here but the mod still doens't show up on the maps list. I only see HL2, EP1, EP2 and the Synergy maps. What i did wrong?

The doors are much smoother if you use SynFixes, in the description. The transition spawns might have been an update at some point that isn't quite functioning correctly. If you use SynFixes and possibly SynSaveRestore, it should transition correctly.
The mall door is fixed now. It was an order of edits that changed.

My friend and I played this a long time ago, and I forgot to give a feedback on issues. However I do remember some I have to share:

- In some levels, you spawn out of the map, leaving you no choice to use "kill" in the console to respawn at the right spawn.
- My friend had to press the "Use" key several times to enter a room, which kind of annoyed him. I didn't experience this, so maybe it was only him.

Most of the levels/puzzles were fine though. I don't remember crashing at all or having to glitch. Maybe in that mall when you needed to leave ? I think we got stuck there, but not sure why.

To install the mods, you should definitely use the InstallSourceMods.bat script here: https://github.com/Balimbanana/SourceScripts/blob/master/Batch/InstallSourceMods.bat
You right click on "Raw" and click "Save Target As" then place it pretty much anywhere and run it. It gives you a prompt to install all the currently supported mods for Synergy, it will even install these supports automatically as well for what you choose.

I don't know what I'm even supposed to run to test if it works. Do I run Synergy, Synergy Dedicated Server or Alchemilla? All of the guides I look at are very old and expect me to have an understanding of how to use Synergy or how to install Source game mods. I don't.

I have only ever successfully played through Afraid of Monsters Sven Coop and Cry of Fear using Hamachi. This doesn't seem to work anything like either of those.

To install SynFixes, you will need to use a dedicated server install. This is a mostly automated script: https://github.com/Balimbanana/SourceScripts/blob/master/Batch/Syndsinstall27015.renametodotbat
Download that and rename it to end in .bat where you want the server to be installed, it will give you prompts to download SourceMod and after that you can get the plugin in the plugins prompt.
Then you can get the support files in imsp at the first prompt.

If you mean the player model in the player model selector, it is because you must have loaded content in order for the models to render.
If you mean in-game, it is most likely due to the fps_max bug. It is slightly more smoothed out in SynFixes, but not completely fixed. You can use the console command "fps_max 60" and you might need to re-join and it will be fixed.
Doors don't work as well without SynFixes, it is from issues in Synergy itself with teleports.

Alright, maybe that is why Synergy would not upload my mod once I selected a thumbnail! (It's so good that it doesn't tell you why it doesn't work, it actualy tell you that it worked)

Doors still won't work and it's just the matter of luck will it move you futher or teleport back.

Unfortunately, Synfixes seems to add another bug that’s more annoying than the glitchy doors. Whenever I look at an object with a use key (like a locked door or a vending machine), the game teleports me back to the start of the level. :lunar2019deadpanpig: Notes don’t teleport me, only the objects that show text messages do.

The doors appear to be a problem on dedicated servers, some sort of syncing issue with movement and !activator targets. I have addressed this in the SynFixes plugin and it is working much better with it.

You must either opt-in to the "development -" beta of Synergy, or use the instructions to move the add-on to where Synergy can find it.
You can also try opting in to the beta, start it up to the menu, close Synergy, and opt-out. It will download the new workshop system and you won't have to move the files over manually.

I didn't run in to the problem of waiting for the doors before, but I have reduced the "wait" time to 1 second. It was 3 by default. I have also removed the Ep1 and Ep2 requirement.
I added another check on the transition from sh_alchemilla to 01, it *should* work now.

One more thing, could you please change "deps" "alcvpk ep1 ep2" to "deps" "alcvpk"? As far as I can tell, it works just fine without episodes 1 and 2.

The only issue we’ve encountered so far is that everyone got stuck with a grey screen after map change to sh_alchemilla01. It doesn’t happen if you start from this map.

Just stand still for a second and to and then press E. Works like a charm.

I don’t think teleporting everyone to the elevator is a good idea. As it is, players can look for clues on different floors simultaneously and it's very handy.
