great tactics and very much works as intended, winning Champ League with West Ham etc but will not recommend that you download as for me it works too well and ruins game. Going to start new career game and try hard to never use this tactic again.

Sometimes there are these games where I just go 4-0 down in less than 20 minutes, any idea why its so inconsistent?

Disgusting tactic. I love it!

I used to pride myself on NOT scoring from set pieces. If I conceded from a set piece or long shot, I was proud because at least they couldn't break me down from open play. And the same pride was present if I could overcome the opposition defence.

But unfortunately in this year's FM, goals from crosses and through balls are relatively few compared to the enormous amount of goals from set pieces and long shots.

The good news is SI is aware of this bug thanks to it being posted on the bugs forum, so it should be removed in FM20.

Well done for figuring this out but what it really highlights is bugs in this year's match engine. Now we are in February and SI haven't historically changed their post January release, unfortunately I can't see it changing.

I'm using the tactic but I'm starting to think this is so broken that it's completely unrealistic and kills the fun of the game. A great part of the fun of FM is overcoming the challenges and a big part of it is tactics. What I'm finding is I could probably play any old tactic for open play and still win most games due to this tactic. I'm using your set pieces with my 4-1-4-1 DM Wide btw.

Best tactic I ever used on FM19. I automatically got promoted with Northampton from SkyBet League 2 into the Championship with records!

Your Tactic is so bloody scummy! So far in my first season in the Championship with Sunderland I am Undefeated and beat Chelsea 5-0 in the Carabao cup.

Damn son, that's what I call a scumbag tactic!

To be really honest, you won't dominate every single match like 5:0 and won't score beautiful played out goals. BUT! Better hand your opponent a new pair of boxers if you get a throw in near the box or a corner! Most of the chances your team will create is because of set pieces! It looks really crazy how the opposing defense is reacting when you're having a throw in!
I highly suggest subscribing and using this tactic, especially if you enjoy seeing your Opponents defense getting humilated... YOU SCUMBAG!

Currently using it with Leeds, 10 Games into the season and sogar 9 Wins and 1 Loss, which was my own fault, messing up the instructions mid-game

will this tactic still work if i change the formation to 4-1-4-1 (1 dm (dlp), 2 cm (mezz and cm)) and 2 wingers with 1 striker?

Thought I had Serie A domined in 2023 with AC Milan but switched to this tactic and simulated a year. In 2024 I had won with a bigger margin and had top goalscorer with 39 league goals and 55 in all competitions... It definitely works!

first game with Stoke v Newcastle town 46 shots, 22 on target 54% pos. i no the op isnt the best but still for a first match with a new tactic not to bad at all

Trying this with Crewe at the minute and jesus christ man. Played 32 so far, Won 26, drew 5, lost 1. Goal difference is 82 with 83 points. Pure filth...i love it!

@TallPaulFM I've had this issue previously, but when I subscribe to something new, if you go onto the "LIBRARY" tab on Steam, then the "DOWNLOADS" tab and the click "PLAY" on the latest FM download, that tends to do the trick for me.

I just played one game with this and had to come on here to leave a comment. Playing as Manchester City, we just DECIMATED Tottenham in the FA Cup, winning 6-0. We notched 19 shots ON TARGET to Spurs' 0. Sane and Sterling absolutely shredded them.
