Welp I have dragonfall(which I guess is problem here) but black screen happens yeah which sucks since I heard this one is good :(

Still black screen on start up :( Too bad, it seems much like a pnp Shadowrun that i played at a Con many years ago - it was quite good.

I played the Dragonfall campaign. My character has outfits and cyberware of the campaign. And now I would like to import my character to this module... Could you add to "The Usual Suspects" compatibility to the equipment of Dragonfall?

Hey man, i dunno if you still work on your UGC, but i just retried and first scene is full of bugs. I suppose that the last patch messed up some of your triggers. Plus : there are insane bugs with mercs
- Safe box : can only be activated once. Not cool if you suffer from the Drones bug that must put them in/close/take back to be operative.
- Computer : Need Decking 3 for a code that is as well visible on a wall prop ?!
- Computer : Need Decking 5 to enter Matrix. My char could not enter with Dek 5
- Merc Shaman Shani Bey : is supposed to own Haste IV but does not show it in fight
- Merc Street Kumaru Kit : came with 2 robots but no riffle or shotgun (same group i recruited a rigger with 2 drones)
It seems that evil leprechauns have been visiting your UGC !

Good stuff expect for the martix which kept frozen on me when the alert goes off. Is that on purpose or a bug?

Did a very good job on the Matrix portion, especially with the depth of the system. As appears to be an ongoing problem, my allies set to overwatch for me didn't trigger with the guards coming in. Try spawning them outside and having them run in. Didn't bother to check if a Rigger could take the choppa on their own. Should have. Keep it up!

Yeah, like several other posters my first run froze several turns into the matrix. In my case it did so after the alert level filled up. Instead of spawning IC everybody just stood around with no options to do anything. And I too had the lonestar gunmen entering the initial room fail to trigger overwatch. Are they spawning right there in front of the door?

I must say, I had a lot of fun. You totally took the spirit of SR, in all the little things where you have to make a decision, like the police agent who is asking for mercy. Great work

Great run! I had a matrix bug, too, the sound of moving ESP / ICE followed me from middle matrix until I hit the roof (new scene loaded).

I have a suggestion: Maybe you could to all the matrix buttons with a dialogue so the players understands what happes there. Also even with thorough searching (and a 8 int / decking PC) I could not find the mentioned evidence from the showdown dialogue option.

And the matrix buttons that manipulat the door and safe could be animated like in the DMS campaign with a little camera change, would make a great immersion and visualization improvement ;-)

Alltogether nice job, well done, maybe add a last scene or an autosave that I can import also the last some karma points I gain on the roof into the next run :)

Hi, too bad the game froze in the Matrix at the end of my turn after my Attacker ESP misses the last red program...back to the start, i will retry another day.
In the room i had a strange "No LOS" while an ennemy gunner was standing 2m away next to my Merc (bug next to the bear rug east leg).
I did not understand why you take away our software, then a persona in the Matrix sells some.
So i bought a bunch of them...just to find out i could have them for free from the Matrix.
Should you were a grocer i will throw rotten apples at your store curtain at night and Tag "Mr Sting's" !

Was enjoying this until my decker's ESP hit the 'Side Door Node' in the matrix, and then everything froze.

I also noticed that Lone Star materialized in the starting room, and did not trigger the overwatches I'd set up.

Here's hoping for updates.

Nice work. Maybe add in some turrets. And maybe a Lonestar heavy gunner squad doing a surprise flanking attack just as the runners are about to defeat another squad.

Nice combat scenario. One thing I missed was an opportunity to get my hired decker to poke around Lone Star's matrix. Apart from that, all is good enough. Looking forward to the sequel, if there ever is one.

I swapped my weapons out for some versions from the DMS campaign and played through. Good job, I enjoyed it. I especially liked the ass-kicking Detective Whats-his-nuts gives out at the end.

Looks like good stuff, I ran into a bit of a hitch. Did you integrate the Samurai Catalog into your work? I started playing and your campaign won't recognize any of my weapons; they're visible in my inventory, but unusable in combat. I suspect this is b/c they are Sam Catalog weapons.

Aaledieter, I'm not sure what the issue is, but a friend of mine had the same issue. He discovered that when he searched his computer for "The Usual Suspects" he found that for some reason Steam downloaded the mod to a different folder. Once he know that, he moved the mod to the appropriate location and it worked. Perhaps that is your issue as well. I'm not sure why it did that though.

I enjoyed it, seemed initially to be impossible but turned out to be nicely challenging. Only thing that seemed a bit crazy (and saved my arse) was when the enemy would rush into the room to meet you but not flagged for combat untill you entered their room and triggered them.

Revanbh, I'm working on it. Right now it's more cosmetic for the purposes of RP, but as I learn more about the editor I hope to fully implement the feature. My guess is it was one of the engine bugs or you started the mod with a new character for which the mod isn't setup for that.

Just gave it a try and run into a game stopping bug. Right in the first office, the terminal offers two decking options: opening the safe and hallway door. Thanks to the decker on my team, I can use both. But when I open the safe and try to get the equipment, nothing happens. No equipment, no dialogue window, nothing. And after that I can't even access the console on the table anymore. I'm not sure if the hallway door option is functional either. So my only option is to go outside the office, and into waiting Lone Star goons barehanded. You can imagine that doesn't end well for my team. :)

UGC sounds very promising and I am looking forward to playing it in earnest.

just that I am getting it right: i will be able to bring my stuff with me into this game, but i have to get to it first? sounds like fun. as far as I'm not going to search for a new set of items...that would be...well...might work either but wouldn't be so nice. for me that is.

This is a work in progress. I have uploaded it as is in the hopes of generating interest, as well as receiving comments and suggestions. So far, I just have all but one room propped, though I still need to do the polishing and playtest balancing for a few specific rooms. Not to mention, lighting. Eventually for the sake of story and immersion, I want to make it so that you do not start with whatever weapons you bring into the game and instead have to get them from the safe. I’ve an idea for both decking and non-decking ways of accomplishing this, but I do not want to spoil the fun.

My goal in creating this map is to create a scenario in which the player has choices in how the game plays out. One way will be combat heavy, while the other will focus on the Matrix. Dialog will play a key role as well.
