There seems to be little incentive for actually bothering to attack the Mob or the Cleric given that they recover such extreme amounts of health per turn - killing the Friar can be done in just a turn or two for the same outcome. For a fight that seems to be presenting the player with multiple 'choices', it doesn't feel like much of a choice when the path of least resistance is so easily accessible and still just as rewarding.
This results in practically no players ever actually killing the Cleric or obtaining the Cleric's shield item - I'd be interested to see if anyone's ever actually bothered to do it. And given that you can't rematch them, this results in some very unsatisfying runs when people realise they're permanently locked out of 1/3 of the rewards.
Also I didn't get the priest's shield trinket when I beat the boss, is there any way to recover this or would I just need to have better luck next time?
In his attempt to save the hamlet and the world, he only hastens its demise.
The art. Amazing. No horny fuckery. Just plain and nice visuals - my only complain are: Some of the missions are tagged as 'short' but when you enter, the dungeon is bigger than the average medium dungeons, shit really catch me off guard. And. Shieldbreaker UTTERLY destroy this boss, the fight literally becomes trivial.
Other than that. Best mod ever made to DD. Solid 7/7
I obtained 2 trinkets and wish to collect the 2 remaining trinkets.
Great mod!
If I disable the mod, play one mission and activate it again will it reset?
- kill the knight first and then the priest, the mob will run away and you will get all 3
I recommend a high damage/marking team for it over dot because the priest will heal a lot, also a prot debuff is useful as the knight has prot.
If you find the fight too hard, you can just kill the priest and that will finish the encounter, but will only get you 2 trinkets instead of 3, missing out on the knight trinket.
What happens if I wait for two weeks to do that mission?
