@Mark You are looking at an old version of this mod. Here you can find a better one with full localization, descriptions, few balance tweaks and more policies in general. So there is no need to spend time on anything.

i hope to share this mod with more players,can you allow me to make some modifications to your mod? and...except for some basic content that needs to be translated outside,i found that you did not add a detailed description of the policy,so i think i can try to complete these content. in addition to this, there are some things that i think might affect the balance,for example 50% energy bonus and so on,i want to change it in the process of translation.there is a lot of content almost re-creating, i don’t know you allow me to do this...
anyway,this mod is really good, thanks for you contribution!

Thanks for the mod. Been looking for something to fully customize my empire based on policies and the like. The only thing missing is to add in the fluff text for them all. That and some of the modifiers needing some tweaking as some I disagree with. Both I can (probably?) tweak myself without completely screwing up the mod itself.

Allright I finally can anounce that localization ahs been added mostly. All names will appear correctly and policy groups will have basic description.Particualr decisions won't have those descriptions, but at some point this will be added as well. Right now we are producing 2nd version of this mod, containing better localization files, better modifiers and of course more policies.

Good new everyone, finally, after all this time I menaged to fix localization. It will take time to release it, since I barely started, but fear not, it will come. Also I think I will leave this version with current modifiers since most enjoy it, I will as well release new one with balanced ones and that new one will contain new policies mentioned here. Both mods will be supported for game versions to come.

Or another reason is me tryng to fix localization. I added one more "}" in wrong place and all policies after 2d one borke. Now fixed. Apologies for trouble.

I don't mean that guys. I updated modifiers and noticed a sudden disaproval of 3 people a day. Sure there was 2.3 and it crashed it obviosuly and localization well is damn hard to make, no matter what I write it won't work.

If you refer to the strange text, that's not broken in the slightest. Just missing localisation. That's a known issue tho.

Alright since the mods is losing stadley about 3 subscirbers a day seems like general public doesn't like new modifiers. Worry not, presbious version is back and I will work on modifiers again. Though I would be very glad if I knew what is the reason for this. Are modifiers too low for you to matter, or do you think their balance is too low? Neverless new values will be put into place.

With a small slide off new patch is live. Take time to tell me if you like new modifiers. At this point I'm working on few new policies and localization. I'm getting closer to fixing it finally.

Attention the update will be here shortly. I will release it in bits so you will have time to get used to new much lower modifiers and I hope more belanced and one that require more though put into it.
You will aslo have time to coomnet on what's been done good, bad and what need changes. When first balance path is released next new polciies will come along few new fixes. After that is done I will get into localization which I believe I might finally understand though that part isn't coming soon.

New update will be coming may 29th at 8.00 p.m. CET Please finish your playthough ASAP or prepare for different modifiers., mostly lower.

Notepad doesn't support utf8 with bom, if you open this type of yml file and save it it will be converted to regular yml and thus not recogniced by the game. To be able to edit, save or save as a utf 8 bom file, aka one that will be recogniced by the game, you will need to use another text editing program such as Sublime text or vs code.

I'm just using plain notepad, why would I need more. I know it can't save as UTF8 but then again, I never knew what is that, till I learned that it might be needed for localization about month ago. Do you think I should just copy file from in game folder and then just delete everything and paste in my stuff?

Just wondering what editing program are you using to edit and save the txt and yml files? And if you can't get it to work a solution would be to just copy a yml fil from the game itself, rename it, erase its content and paste in your own content.

So I have read. Yet most people tell me otherwise, I even checked other mod's files and there was not UTF8 save format and it worked, so I don't really know, neverless I'm not fixing this mod any time soon. Probably after exams which will be may 26th.

You have to save the .yml file as UTF8 with BOM for it to work.

Let me edit that previosu message. There will be a mojor overhaul, mostly nerfs, but also some normalization changes, I'm not sure when I will get to it, beacuse exams are near, but in matter of two months there should be that major update done. (stil no localization, this stuff is against logic)

I think the bonuses are too extreme, it's very feasible to stack, for example, happiness bonuses so that most, if not, all of your pops have 100% happiness, no matter how much faction approval rating they have.

I know this since I did previous mod, not even this. Log says otherwise but either way localization won't work :( Well as I said I will not do this anytime soon, beacuse of obvious problems here. But hey I updated it for 2.2.6 so it doesn't show incompatibility.

I'm not in the mood for doing this anytime soon as I wrote, I appritiate your intrest though. I know prety much what I should do but I get no results all the time. But we can at least clarify this. I made new localization folder, with all languages folders inside. Then in each I made folder called same as mod and in for example english one I wrote this. Of course I used many combinations of this but I can't get it to work. So what did I wrong?

So lets clarify no matter what is written this should be compatible. As for updates well this will get updated but I do stellaris mods only when I actually play game which is not now. But I come back always so eventually this will get update. And I still don't understand localization, like I've been told what to do but I don't understand it. In future I will do update with more policies and maybe make them more realistic, but for now enjoy this.

True. But it increases government ethics attraction (or at least is supposed to, I haven't tried this mod yet) and it's close enough.

From my experience, propaganda does not make people happier. But it will diminish some of the oppositions' influence. So I personally think it's done right.

I think that higher propaganda should actually make people be more happy, not less. Outside of ethics attraction propaganda has no positive effect the way it currently works.
