@Paradoxical Go for it, all the graphics are either from online artists or just my own minor edits to existing to Stellaris art, use as much as you'd like, no need for attribution (except for maybe the Camouflage link on DeviantArt, whoever they are made the original images used for the stones)

Hey, so I have aspirations of making a Marvel Universe mod for 4.0.12. I really like the way this mod looks, sounds, and plays, so I wanted to ask: Do I have your permission to use the GFX and sound files included in this mod for mine? I can definitely attribute them to you

I am also down to work with you, dalamma!

I am a new Stellaris modder with limited time though, so might be a while lol I've only ever modded HOI4 before, but I'm willing to learn for this

Sorry guys, I've been keeping up with the 4.0 notes - it changed basically every aspect of the game that this mod interacts with, and fixing pretty much means overhauling the whole mod, top to bottom. Realistically (and tragically, I really enjoyed modding) I don't have that kind of time these days 😭

If anyone wanted to have a crack at it, I'd have no problem making them a co-author and answering the odd question about how it works, but other than that this mod may have reached retirement

Is it possible to bring back the option to snap fingers as a decision in the game to half the population for everybody? or half the population for everybody else? this helped so much with late game lag

If you don't control the system, you should still be able to "Requisition" it to your borders. If you do already have a starbase there, you can dismantle it, requisition the stone, and rebuild it

How to transfer a stone to your system if there is no possibility to start excavations - the stone was generated in the Tiyanki cemetery

It may have slowly stopped working as well over various updates, but in theory if the tracker believes you don't have any current intel on the stone, it makes the tracker show up on your capital instead, that could be what is happening - the stone is in free space which you dont have direct sensor coverage of, and so it thinks you don't "know" where the stone is

My discovered stones disappear before the system is captured and the tracking icon moves to the capital (stones in free systems)

I added in system and planet names depending on if I there was a good equivalent in the MCU, didn't want to stray too far from the material. If you'd like to track them though, the Situation Log has a tracker system for each stone, which works even if they get relocated (you just need to turn off and on the tracking button)

In terms of the spying update, it's pretty unlikely now I did actually do a lot of work on the operation side of things. I stopped because realistically the espionage system just doesn't work well enough to implement a stone-stealing mechanic that is both interesting and balanced. I'd still love to achieve it. If they do overhaul intelligence and I I get less busy, I might try again

could you make it so in a new update that all the systems the stone spawn in have set names and list them here? I know you do that for some like the time stone and soul stone but not all of them. and some you only do for planets. the other infinity stone mod does this and makes it helpful so one of the stones don't go missing and you can't find them in a particularly large galaxy by allowing you to search the name of the system they spawn in.

Hi Richelieu, I haven't personally tested it but from reading the patch notes, yes it should work fine. The stones will definitely load in, and the modifiers will all work. Let me know if you run into any conflicts

Ah, yes but not as it used to. If you have a stone unlocked and in your control, you get a relic which imparts major modifiers. The only time you get empire modifiers now is if another empire is sharing it with you

@Wtz First of all, thanks for your extensive testing - it helped me a catch a pretty embarrassing bug. The prevent_cosmogenesis flag is set in the "nfmod_spawn_stones" scripted effect. The only issue is, I forgot to update this effect in the main branch of this mod - I only updated it in the Beta Branch, which is the version I personally use, which is why I hadn't noticed it on my end.

This main version is now up to date and won't crash again (for real this time lol), unless you have another mod which overwrites the vanilla cosmogenesis thesis event

Sorry for the inconvenience, and to the others who I brushed off before when they reported it - odds are, it wasn't another mod conflicting, even though that can still happen

I tried to set the global flag on the start of infmod_meta.0 and clear it on a new event added to on_monthly_pulse and this does fix the issue :)

I tried to launch a new game (in 3.12.3 if relevant) with only this mod installed and it still has the second-month issue :(
I looked into infmod_cosmogenesis_fix.txt but didn't find anywhere else mentioned the infmod_prevent_cosmogenesis_events global flag. I don't know anything about Stellaris modding and not sure if this is right.

Still happening for me too, only just realised this is the mod causing issues after 30 mins of searching - will try and determine what conflict is causing this later tonight when I get time

Hmm, it isn't happening on my end, I'd say it's a mod conflict - my mod overwrites the vanilla crisis event to prevent it from happening during the stone spawns. If you have another mod overwriting the same event, there's nothing stopping it from ocurring. The issue is my fix is more of an emergency stopgap and not a great solution - I'm still looking for that. Is it possible for you guys to send me your mod lists? Then I can try to at least patch in some cross-compatibility

I'll second the cosmogenesis murdering me at the beginning of month 2 still happening. It might be a weird interaction as I've a pretty extensive mod list but after updating and only disabling this mod it isn't occurring. Oddly enough it wasn't happening to me before the update on the 15th.

Hi @Everyone, I've added a dirty fix for the Cosmogenesis bug. This mod now works, but I've overwritten the event "crisis.7200". Other mods which edit the same event (none that I know of) will be incompatible with this one. Hoping to have a better solution soon

@William Too late to be useful for you, but you'll be fine - all the AI scripting is within my own files, I don't edit any game files, so no compatibility issues, even with other mods. Unless those mods edit my files lol

@AkGara Just went on today to do a compatibility check and ran into the same issue. I know what's causing it, but not how to fix it. I'll try to get at least a workaround out tomorrow

Having a weird issue, when using this mod, at the second month of a new game all the negative parts of Cosmogenesis hit (Shroud Tears, Constant Rounding, Blackout etc) happen. I don't know if an AI empire is suddenly gaining All Tech or what?

Hello, I'm interested in using this in my next playthrough but I've got a compatibility question: The description says "No Vanilla files are overwritten which means no conflict with/dependency on other mods!" but the discussion post says "The AI has been fully rebuilt to make use of all the above features, and they even properly budget for decisions like investigating and relocating the stones." Is this mod going to overwrite the AI enough to mess with other mods that use it? (I have a VERY modded game) Also, it would be very nice to have a description of what each stone does on that Discussion post

Sorry for the long delay, haven't had my computer for a few weeks. If you have access to the console, try "event infmod_meta.10" to force an update on all the relics. This likely won't solve the issue but you never know

Then could you tell me what the Situation Log Infinity Stones entry says about each stone in terms of owner, unlock status, etc?

Hi there. I love this mod, congrats for a great job. I have all the stones in one of my planets and I did all the excavation but only the space stone appears in my relics screen. It has the bonus of the power stone at the description but no other stone appear or give their bonuses... Any idea why? thanks a lot.

Incidentally, I can't see a connection between the deposit bug and the AI's transfer mechanic, so that continual relocation issue may still be there - let me know if you still see it happening

There's also a retroactive hotfix which will clear up all the duplciates from any existing singleplayer save

For any hosts of a multiplayer lobby that want to force the clean-up event, use the command "event infmodtools.3101"

Stones are not duplicated when transferred, AI empires constantly transfer and duplicate them...

@Everyone Incidentally, if you noticed a crash at random dates which disappeared when deactivating this mod, 3.10.12 seems to have fixed it - although nothing in the patch notes explains why lol. Let me know if it happens to you

That's intentional. To have the deposits show on the galaxy map, they need to be coded as "resources", but in order to be resources, they need a technology to "mine" them. So I created an unresearchable tech and included the note that they can not be mined in the tooltip.

Not my favourite feature in the mod, but it's the best option at the moment. If they ever add other ways of displaying them on the galaxy map, I'd happily switch to that
