I sent you a friend request - if you'd like the code, I'd be happy to share.
I don't think it's due to this mod in particular, but I am wondering what is causing the issue, and if there is any way to fix it.
Ya, figured it out. Kind of sucks because I had a really nice gen. Now it's back to volcanoes and mountains. xD
Save configuration saves your whole game Set Up including map generation to make a game reproducing template; a game made/loaded from a configuration (template) is not changeable with regards to game play!
First I suggest you get Enhanced Mod Panel (a UI mod).
Then to test out any new game play mod create a new game with the enabled mod mix that you like
After you have verified that the mod mix works for you (you may have to do the remix mods & new game test more than once)
then you set the mod mix that you want and set up a new game and save the configuration
It is important to note - when you load a configuration during set up, you can change any of the exposed settings but you cannot change the (hidden) mod mix. So you can't really 'modify' a configuration, you have to make a 'new' one.
Creating a new 'Create Game' from scratch seems to have finally loaded the mods.
Like I could see loading a saved game. But a saved config, when they don't give you the option for which mods to load???
Does it require a certain tech level? I've gotten 'Mining' (can build Mine Improvement). But nothing's changed on the tile.
Mods I'm running are the official DLC ones and your's.
I mean, I assume your mod adds the 'production cog' when you mouse over the tile?
Double checked and this mod is enabled.
Is this something I can add, will it be difficult?
However, why not a passable mountains mod ? Some persons who don't like some game mechanics create mods in order to break them
If you make a mod, dependent on this one, which aims to make every mountain tile good enough to be worked by every civ, then yes, you should probably add +1 production for Inca again.
