The default is, as far as i know, the crew wont repair sails or the strukture at all. I know only that crew wont repair everything on a ship. Thats why so many repair mods are out there.
tajocelyn 1 Feb, 2020 @ 5:06pm
So what are the default repairs in an un-modded game compared to your mods settings?
Is it per-ship or every ship?
Khyron 25 Oct, 2019 @ 3:11pm
Gday mate, just wondering if the config options are locked down to only the server admin to use? From the change log it only mentions that the Ctrl+R is the way to access it is that after using cheat ScriptCommand TnMCrewRepairSettings
Thank you for the Mod mate and keep up the good work.
DeathbySnuSnu 3 Oct, 2019 @ 10:07am
Would you be willing to modify your mod to add custom ships so the modded planks and sails would also be repaired?

Thanks

holly crap. THIS MOD IS AMAZING
Varsolci 30 Jun, 2019 @ 7:24am
Any way to set the repairs from 99% ? I would prefer it to be fully repaired, That's one of the main reasons i dock, so i can go back to combat with full health
btw, thx for the mod
Kero 31 May, 2019 @ 4:58am
It's working @temil2006?
elp 4 May, 2019 @ 7:23pm
Do the settings have to be adjusted in every grid or will doing it in 1 grid work on the others?
Temil2006  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 9:54pm
@andargor :: np .. and that other mod is simply a item replacement mod, which just does a remaping on resources. The repair mod however is a bit more complex because the devs didn't make the ship repair as a scripted piece, they hard coded it. what this means is that the custom repair tweaks are 100% additional code which has to reply on a multitude of files and back and forth checks between client and server. having to also have multiple timers, logic's to take into account, all while making sure the original repair process isn't broken. Yea, it's a bit more complex ;)
andargor 9 Mar, 2019 @ 8:29pm
@Temil2006 Sorry if I sounded like I was twisting your arm about the code, not my intent. I was looking at another mod's source and was just wondering if you were using similar techniques. ( https://github.com/Impulse87/ATLAS-CustomItemStacks )
󠀡󠀡 9 Mar, 2019 @ 1:18pm
Thanks, my cluster has automatically downloaded the update so fingers crossed the repairs will function as intended now. If they don't appear to then I'll post a comment here again.
Temil2006  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 1:03pm
hope you understand that I'm not going to try and share the source, which is rather complex, across multiple files, guis, etc. as I would spend more time going through and exporting and explaining it, then simply testing and fixing it, so no.. not going to export the source.

However, new update posted, found a problem where once their was no crew avalible on a ship, it would blacklist it ,and never repair after. fixed, should work better. also added a log gui, and changed the method of accessing settings, to account for the new log. didn't want 2 separate guis.
andargor 9 Mar, 2019 @ 8:05am
@Temil2006 do you have the source available so that others may look into it?
Temil2006  [author] 8 Mar, 2019 @ 5:59pm
haven't had time to look into any issues you guys have due to work and life issues. hopefully I'll have time over the weekend to look into them.
󠀡󠀡 8 Mar, 2019 @ 12:01pm
Same here andargor. I can only get my crew to repair the planks still, I've tried fiddling with the settings and I've tried using the default, I have a wooden ceiling well under half health and they just won't repair it. I even have the resources in the ship resource box.
andargor 6 Mar, 2019 @ 6:59pm
Hmm. I have enough materials on ship, anchored, the crew is sweeping, but no repairs after 1 hour. The following picture is a ceiling with less than 75% HP: https://i.imgur.com/OaHy2Uz.jpg

What am I doing wrong?
Davos 5 Mar, 2019 @ 8:34pm
Ah - yes, that could be it. I never removed the OLD version so I'm sure that is it. On my next reboot, I will do a clean install. TY
Temil2006  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 8:33pm
@yet :: do you not read the description? it clearly states the following...
as of 3-3-2019 no longers use any INI settings for pirate repairs, make sure to you the config menu in game.
`Yet 。 5 Mar, 2019 @ 6:19pm
INI settings?
andargor 5 Mar, 2019 @ 5:45pm
@Temil2006 Ah, I misunderstood the slider, I thought it was "how much damage has been taken before repairs" instead of "how much health is left before repairs". I will set it to 75% to repair as often as possible, then.
Temil2006  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 5:20pm
andargor :: update is placed to fix the % issue.. basicly sliders are from 0-100 % .. but I'm limiting from 25-75 . .so you are setting it to 25%, which when reopening it calculating (visually) as 25% of the new range between 25-75 is now 38% .. it's just a visual.

in reference to the "Damage percent before repair" .. confused on your ask at least with the question about the 25% . .if you set it to 75% (highest) then once it falls before 75% dmged, it will be detected the next scan. if you want it to fully repair always, 75% is the best for now. I originaly had it at 100% and there are some bugs in the default game where structures sometimes report as 95% etc, even though they will not repair any farther. 75% confirms they are truly dmged and need repair.
andargor 5 Mar, 2019 @ 4:57pm
Just the mod I was looking for! For the "Damage percent before repair" setting, is it possible to get it to fully repair, always? Also, the slider goes down to 25%, but when I save and reopen the settings, it's back at 38%.

Thanks!
Temil2006  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 4:53pm
Davos :: that's very odd. I'm using a standard "isAdmin" feature build into the game and it's working on my server, so I know it's working as expected. only thing i can think of is maybe a corrupted file in the mod? maybe close the server, delete the mod files, and restart to redownload them? not really sure what else to try. I have no control over why the game wouldn't think you are an admin. .. could also force kill yourself and respawn as the "isAdmin" is based on the player and char combo the game detects. maybe that will force a reset of that value to make you detected as an admin? also as a test, if you type in chat, do you see the crown icon that shows you are sending chat's as admin as well?
Davos 5 Mar, 2019 @ 11:30am
Not sure what you mean by FULL admin. I am able to fly, Get into ShowMyAdminManager, SetCheatplayer true, all done as an ADMIN. But still getting that red message ADMIN COMMAND ONLY Message. Also the mod has been installed for 48 hours now and still doesn't repair anything. I also whitelisted myself and that still doesn't allow me to use this cheat scriptcommand tnmcrewrepairsettings. ???
Temil2006  [author] 4 Mar, 2019 @ 4:01pm
Davos. It does have defaults. Runs with basic settings similar to before but repairs are every 2 and half mins instead of every minute. The admin requirement requires you to be as full admin meaning you have the enable cheats or grant full admin via in whitelist.
Davos 4 Mar, 2019 @ 1:07pm
I see you added an admin command to this new version. I AM logged in as admin but I still get an Admin Command Only message on my screen (cheat ScriptCommand TnMCrewRepairSettings) Not sure what to do now... I guess the mod doesn't work until I set up something in here... no default settings? Nothing repairing atm... mod has been running on my server for 24 hours now.
Xeno 2 Mar, 2019 @ 10:32am
that is vanilla, press C to tell them to halt fire, v is fire at will
OneS1ckC10 2 Mar, 2019 @ 10:29am
there is a bug in your mod when your ship is anchored you crew members that are on cannons above on a top deck will shot at everything that come in to range
OneS1ckC10 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:21pm
Has there been any bugs where the crew members dont listen to ship commands to start and stop firing I had them on my ship last night and they started free firing by them self and I couldn't get them to stop firing the cannons till I raised anchored
SMooreAce 23 Feb, 2019 @ 9:51am
Good for you Temil!!! FAR too many complete dumba$$es running servers! Theyre the fools that make the professionals among us look bad!
Armitage Shanks 23 Feb, 2019 @ 1:18am
https://puu.sh/CQtJj/7e9fa4a200.png mod ID is right there in the URL.
Temil2006  [author] 22 Feb, 2019 @ 8:45am
yea, but I tend to leave the modID out since it's SO easy to locate. some people side with me, others don't. all I can say is, if you are running as a server admin, and you don't even know how to spend 60secs looking up a modID, then maybe server hosting / modding isn't for you, lol. just saying, I build my mods and description based on the audiance and I would expect them to know how to find it. puting to much faith in them? maybe, but that's just my personal opinion.
Cipher 22 Feb, 2019 @ 8:44am
the reason for the limited length, and limitations is because the repairs are free except for planks, which cost resources from the resource ship box.

That's a complete joke. So off to write my own version ;)
Cipher 22 Feb, 2019 @ 8:44am
Looked good until I read FREE Lolz GTFO!

Davos 18 Feb, 2019 @ 11:28am
Sent you a steam msg.
Temil2006  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 9:05pm
just fyi, i went and spawned in 120 galleons, loaded them up with 50 crew each, placed 50 added building parts onto each of the ships, ad still didn't get lag when running on my server. i dont mind working on optimizing it, but unless I can duplicate it, I can't do anything to fix it. I'm even willing to take a world files you have the issue with and load them into my test sandbox area if you want to see if the same issues outside of your server setup.

this is all assuming you are hosting with someone?
Temil2006  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 9:00pm
not really questions, but I will tell you that other server admins had similar issues, which I worked with them directly and determiner that the issues were due to one of a few things, but all related to server hosting issues.

1. corupted install of the server files.
2. invalid config files for the game (blank values when they shouldn't be, etc)
3. a ton of limiting factors from server hosting companies.

if you want to ping me in steam or discord, send me over your latest server log files that you are having the issues, and I'll tell you if i see any issues.
Davos 17 Feb, 2019 @ 8:37pm
Just removed the mod again... I removed it once before when it was the other mod you made... My symptoms are me and my players are seeing major LAG. Water movement in a repeat pattern, Grass flowing blinking in and out... When I remove the mod, those items become fluid again...
Other than that I love this mod. Which really means I'm a lazy player and hate running around fixing everything myself. Let me know if you have any questions for me.
Davos 17 Feb, 2019 @ 1:56pm
Understood - ty
Temil2006  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 12:40pm
the "sail" it's self doesn't repair automaticly, that's in the works as the sail is a sub component if the "mast" of the sails. that should be the only part that isn't repairing.
Davos 17 Feb, 2019 @ 11:47am
Love the mod btw... Doesn't look like its repairing the Large Handling Sail. Everything else seems to be working like a charm.
Temil2006  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 7:24am
Kurt:: Amen to that, that's why I made this feature for my mod pack. had enough people asking for it seperatly ,so here ya go :)
Hasslehoff 17 Feb, 2019 @ 2:13am
Hopefully this will make them earn their keep!
