I wonder if maybe allowing the player to hack cameras once they've taken over the camera database would work. Or maybe give options to reveal the cameras or allow Incognita to hack them.
Thx for the quick reply.
Haven't actually finished Dragonfall either.^^ I'm a total fool for the Infinite-mod. Reminds me of the way i used to play the pen&paper version with my friends back in the 90's.
Looking forward to check your new stuff, keep it up!
Thanks! :D I'm working on some custom items as well so stay tuned. And damn, I really should finish Shadowrun: Dragonfall...
And yes, it's compatible with Programs Extended.
Btw, does this work with Extended Programs mod?
The generation option for weakening Incognita says "If you play with Incognita on, the "slow" hacking ability will have a PWR cost."
Furthermore, the tooltip for the actual slow hacking ability in-game says ""Manually disable X firewalls by the next turn for 2 PWR (PWR used at start of next turn)."
I'm not sure where the confusion comes from? What did you feel was unclear? Or did you mean adding it in the mod description.
As for the mod staying on, I'll look into it.
I might pop into the discord! This game's charm and the modding community have entangled me in it. Thanks for the reply!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Sorry you still have to struggle with the camera issue. I am working on a set of items specifically for this mod, including ways to remotely disable cameras, though due to school stuff the mod's taken a backseat lately. If you join our II Discord, I'd love to hear your feedback on the stuff I've got planned ( Discord link [discordapp.com]) .
Also, if you want to tinker with alarm progression, then I HIGHLY recocommend Mobbstar's Shroud mod ( link ) . The Shroud starting program lets you avoid alarm progression, but only as long as you're undetected. Imho it's a great middle ground for those who still want the challenge of the alarm but also a slightly more classic "take your time" stealth approach.
I actually know exactly what you mean because I've tried playing with 15-25 rooms and damn, it's a very different game, haha.
The camera issue is still present though, it can become impossible to progress without an alarm if you don't have a cloak or Prism, for instance. I tired downloading the mod "Flavorful agents" since that supposedly lets you use consoles to turn off cameras, but it did not work. Hope you manage to find a good compromise for that.
Really appreciate the mod! Pat yourself on the back, this one made the game for me.
Creatively. ;)
I'm working on a few custom items to make it more straightforward, though. It's on my to do list. Expect an update soon.
