Broken? Was very careful about conflicts, but still looks broken. Low enemy spawns, but getting gatekeepers

Mission is sadly a bust. I'm getting standard contingent of troops (including various aliens) at my force level so pretty much a death sentence if you bring guys for training. Not really sure why this happens.

InterventoR's LWOTC patch is on the discord, like half of the patches for sitreps and units.

That being said, I was surprised that the training officer (elite at least) could call reinforcements while on fire AND disoriented. Perhaps it's just the elite.
Anyone know if this behavior is re-created outside of the LWOTC patch?

+1 request for LWOTC compatibility.
This is all-around a really good balance mod for advancing squaddies without putting them at massive risk. It just sucks that it doesn't work with LWOTC.

I see the comment on LWOTC, but is it confirmed to not work? If so, can anyone recommend a similar sitrep mod? This is absolutely perfect for that mid-late game squaddie runs. really looking for some occasional "easier" sitreps to mix in to give the green troops a chance.

A really good mod. The missions were very tense with low ranked soldiers. I really enjoyed myself doing this kind of missions. Thanks a lot for this mod.

@KT Chong The issue is with XCOM update. To 'fix' this update go to the games install file. If it's WOTC click that folder in the install I'll give an example to the navigation: Steam/steamapps/common/XCOM 2/Xcom2-WarOfTheChosen/Binaries/Win64/Launcher

Then when you see the ModLauncherWPF.exe right click it and make it run as admin. Run the exe and load up you mods there first. Start the game then quit the game. Then load up the game like normal and load up your mods there. Sounds confusing but that's how I got it to work.

@KT Chong i agree, still hope my reply gave you your answer... There is a mod that adds multiple sitreps to missions.. as in 2 or more (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2068573223) ... you could try that one

@ObelixDK I must have reloaded/reloaded incoming ops dozens of not over a hundred times after installing your mod. Never gotten it. Oh well.

By the way, I remember one of those other mods has a configuration file that individually enabled/disabled SitReps. I think it's "Multiple SitReps"; I configed out the annoying "Low Profile" SitRep; (before that I used another mod to remove the Low Profile SitRep.) Maybe it's that one that's causing the problem.

After installing this mod, this new SitRep has NEVER appeared in any of my missions, and I often kept reloading/re-rolling save games just before I received new Guerilla/Resistance/other ops.

My game has these other SitRep mods:

sitreps are randomly picked, so the more mods you have that add sitreps the smaller the chance of seeing 1 specific one is

Yes. The SitRep this adds will get added to the pool the game pulls from for future missions.

No. In the mod description, it adds a new strep designed to help you level up weaker soldiers. Basically, all enemies in the mission will be low tier. The Advent Officer here would be slightly different than your typical one as it has different roles. It is a pretty good mod!

with that mod, youll have a sitrep on 90 to 95% of your missions. Some times 2, 3 or even 4 sitreps can pop at the same time. Ive had as many as 4 at once.

Add to that, sitreps are actually kind of rare without any mods, you should look for a mod which allows sitreps to appear on more mission types (it can also be configured to make mission more likely to have sitreps)

its all RNG... completely random on when it can happen. And like anything else, if you have a lot of other mods that add more Sitreps... it might not pop up much

@Astro88 I did, but I'm holding off because I'm making new models and I'm waiting for LWOTC to come on steam.

Also waiting to get enough funds to commission new models for Advent weapons because the mod is not going to be a straight port.

Some of my other mods have bigger priorities and I have my own life problems that prevent me from dedicating too much time, not to mention that I'm helping Christopher Odd with his next season of Xcom on the side as well.

So basically I'm waiting for things and I got a bunch of stuff on my plate.

I am making my own version of the Lw2 Sentry which will kinda be an Advent police officer in the lore.

Aw, then in that case, assuming I'd ever get motivated to ever try and make a mod of my own, I'd wanna make a advent police officer, maybe some low tier humans if not some sort of human-alien hybrid that's suppose to disguise as human.

Troopers and Officers basically are the normal Advent police.

The only "pure military" unit is the Shieldbearer.

It kinda makes me wish the base game had advent police officers, rather than the likely situation that your typical advent trooper or stun lancer would be acting AS the police. While the stun lancers fit that role almost perfectly, they're more of a riot unit than your common policemen.

You know at first i was looking at this and said : "huh, well I don't need this to make easier missions, I need to make them harder !"

But then I played a modded campaign with 3 pods right at the start of the map with 2 mutons 7 stun lancers, a MEC some purifiers a squad of MOCX, some marauders in the middle and I just only upgraded to magnetic rifles and I'm now thinking this might be a decent addition to my campaign

Well I managed to help out with a lot of that stuff but other events or factors can still add some harder elements to this sitrep. Especially if playing with other mods.

@Muttley, read all of the mod notes, he warns of certain things. Bring a few high levels with your greens.
