@JohanTron2000 the only DLC items used are a bunch of stairs in the rear and command sections, however it is likely that you're going to have to use a projector along with the build and repair mod since I don't know if you can just paste it in if you don't have the DLC (You can build it with a projector and the build and repair system, but you'll need to replace the DLC blocks with something else as it won't build block you don't have the DLC for)

thank you for updating this mod

first off i'm a newb, so sorry if I just got it wrong. When I turn on any of the Auto Repair/build... they start grinding the ship down in certain parts. for example the back connector and the armor blocks above it. gone, in the front it took out my pilot seat first. Is there a way to fix this since having those on the ship is a good thing to have and I would like to use them. Any ideas? None of the ship is in the grind color (313, 100, 100) but yet it still grinds the ship.

Any idea why the front landing gear doesn't touch the ground when on a flat deck?

Glad to hear you're liking it, iQt! Also, I fixed the paint issue; thanks for letting me know!

Hi, big fan of the OG version but been modifying myself and came across this. I like your model, but I am going to make some changes myself. Appreciate it man

Awesome ship! I have been exploring it before making any mods. I have learned to mod carefully after thinking about it. I like the choices of scripts, they were all familiar. Love all the status screens in the bridge. Just need to conscript (er .. i mean seek volunteers) some female bridge officers.
Dorian_Hawkmoon 12 Jan, 2021 @ 12:53am
@Fenn, same to me. XD

Ah shit I just noticed that the original hydrolite doesnt work.....fuck
covertsonic  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 7:44pm
@Fibia, thank you for the very detailed comments so I could fix!

1. Oxygen leakage when the hangars are open via the upper deck is fixed by adding airlocks in the top section.
2. Added the catwalks as you suggested in the hydrogen tanks / engine rooms.
3. Moved the mod block in the back up higher and placed an elegant corner square block to hold the staircase in place.

Also made some slight quality of life improvements (LCDs at the upper section, LCDs in the bridge highlighting the cruise control & auto align commands, changed all ladders so characters transition better, fixed the unusual offset on the floor plan due to the script no longer supporting widescreen LCDs).

Another note, I don't know if it's not possible/fixable. When you open up one of the hangar doors to the outside it will also drain out all the oxygen from the other hangar and the room above them because they are connected.

Hi Convertsonic
Very nice updated build on the original Hydrolite, I've noticed that your current uploaded version has a few missing blocks/blocks not connected to stuff and will fall down because it's supported by a mod block. For people not using mods the 3 blocks missing/not being supported are at the following locations:

1. & 2. The room containing the 4 large hydrogen tanks, when walking out both doors from the cockpit there is a missing block, can be easily fixed with a catwalk.

3. The very back room with the jump drive and refineries etc. up against the air vent there is a "staircase" made of two diagonal windows, when a block update or something like that happens it will fall off because it's not being supported by anything.

I haven't spotted anything else other than this being an amazing upgrade to the original blueprint, keep up the great work.

Thank you
alley_cat 13 Oct, 2020 @ 12:56pm
Thank you Covertsonic I don't remember what I did but all working fine...
covertsonic  [author] 10 Oct, 2020 @ 12:22pm
Alley_cat, you are correct; the Isy inventory script was not updated (updates to the game over time cause some scripts to not work); I just updated the programmable block with the Isy script (1st floor of bridge) and republished. Thank you!

E-Lectric, to fly the ship, you head up to the bridge and sit in the center chair (or the others).

ChillenSkillen095, Cruise control works by sitting in the captains chair, then you look at the bottom left LCD on the left side, it has the instructions - 1 makes you move forward and 3 resets/stops.

Slinky, glad you got the hydrogen tanks filled! You do need hydrogen to break out of the atmosphere.

Boer_Warrior, the bay doors open just fine for me using the internal hangar bay button and the external. The ship has to be fully built.
alley_cat 21 Jul, 2020 @ 6:59am
Hello like this ship and built it. Coul you explain me why only the furnace are used and not the refinery ? I tried to enable use conveyor but it's not possible . (sorry for my bad english)
PianoFy 6 Jun, 2020 @ 7:50am
how do you make it fly?
ChillenSkillen095 31 May, 2020 @ 12:02pm
Any Idea how to cruise control scripts work? I'm a little confused
Slinky 26 Feb, 2020 @ 1:56pm
Sorry it was me being stupid, had turned of the hydrogen tanks fill them and forgot to turn them back on
Slinky 25 Feb, 2020 @ 12:54pm
Ok I’ve took off into space, added a drone into each hanger bay, landed on a planet, come to take off again and can’t break the atmosphere, any advice?
Boer_Warrior 12 Nov, 2019 @ 9:22pm
Hey how do you open the hanger doors? The buttons in the room say vent, but nothing occurs
LeyKonNar 8 Aug, 2019 @ 7:50pm
So glad I found an updated version of this. Can't wait to check it out!
covertsonic  [author] 22 Mar, 2019 @ 4:55am
How sloppy of me! Thank you for the specifics; air leak in hangars is fixed now.
RubberBandMan 21 Mar, 2019 @ 8:56pm
I found an air leak that seems to plague both hangers. Since they are both connected through the walkway underneath, they are both affected at the same time. Though tons of blocking off areas and isolating the leak, it turns out that the connectors on the bottom of the ship are the main problem. There is a slight gap, hence why they aren't airtight, and I "fixed" it by just removing them completely. There really isn't a need for them anyways.
covertsonic  [author] 19 Mar, 2019 @ 7:37pm
The nanite room that has the atmospheric thrusters; so, unless you wall off the thrusters, you won't be able to seal it. That is why i have airlocks for entering and exiting those "engine rooms" on the port and starboard; the walkway through the center is air-tight, though.

For easy leak detection, you can use the buildinfo mod - very good tool! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=514062285

I checked all of the air vents, and they all show green (meaning no leaks in the sealed areas).
Creature of Comfort 18 Mar, 2019 @ 8:25pm
Oh, forgot to add this to my previous message: There also seems to be a leak in the nanite control room area. My guess is that it's somewhere around the thrusters. I'll let you know if I find it.
Creature of Comfort 18 Mar, 2019 @ 8:21pm
Hey, you have a few air leaks in this ship. I found a fix for them. Place some catwalks around the conveyor tubes for connector 6 and 7 (the bottom connectors). Air is escaping through the gaps around the connectors.

Also, you should group the hangar airvents together so that air is not lost when you open one of the hangars.

Take care!
azzachaz 14 Mar, 2019 @ 1:48am
Oh you already have sorry.

Sounds good. I thoroughly enjoy the mods like Corruption PVE; so, the gatling guns come in handy more than panels https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=914369510
I am, however, looking forward to adding hydrogen engines to this sucker in a few weeks; there's room underneath the midship hydrogen tanks for them.
Geert-Jan 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:07am
That i like the most is the nice view from the cockpit. I will give it a go, might remove some turrets and add some solor panels ;) i like green energy.
