I have the crash log if you want it, Im thinking from what I see though it looks like a script collision of some sort

Just a note, This mod is broken, when you have it in the world railguns will instantly crash your game, and sometimes corrupt your world if it happens to save with a railgun in the world

this is the only mod I know that would disable the shields, please fix the cannon to remove the shields. It does not charge in survival mode :(

and most importantly They can not shoot, writes that there is no charge, although it is not true, Fix the mod please, this is the only mod that removes the shields AI

@JackAttack I would check out the config file for the mod. It may be possible but I haven't done a lot of tinkering with mods to find out if that would work or not.

Is it possible to modify the Tesla cannon so it completely shuts down grids with one shot? If so, how?

While they do not show up in the inventory, they do show up however when I type the name of the specific weapon in the search bar. I was looking for shield blocks and the shield buster cannon showed up when I typed shield.

same, cannons no longer recharge once reaching 0 charges. outside of an "Admin hack" to drop the charges into the game world (shift+F10 paste), how can you recharge these lasers?

I love this mod so much, explosive lazers are my fav wep in the whole game!

Seen a mod that does the same thing far better. One of the 12 or so weapons in it melts through just about anything, and it's a turret.

look like shieldbuster works strange with some mods (several weapon packs), maybe without them too (i have not checked):
- i have a large grid ship with 6 small classic reactors and 20 battaries fully charged on it
- there is a 30gw mod reactor on the base
- ship is docked and 30gw reactor is on, busters and tesla charges fine (3/3 and 5/5 ammo)

try to:
- turn off base reactor
- undock ship
- set ship battaries on charge mode
- do anything with energy net

after one of that actions ammo dissapears from busters (0/3), but tesla works fine (still 5/5)

also if buster is fully charged it still consumes 300mw of energy to nowhere

i tried to full charge and then turn it off but that doesn't work; terminal shows 3/3 ammo but when you turn it on they will disappear and recharging starts again

Didn't try out tesla or shield buster but the explosive lasers range does seem to be short.

Anyone else experiencing the weapons limited to extremely short range. Players are telling me all the weapons are much less the 800m. I couldn't locate a config file to change the values if there is truly an issue.

This makes me extremely sad. Most of my builds focused on creating small grid drones that could do work for me from afar, utilizing this mod and some creative engineering for great results in scouting exercises too. Thank you for all your hard work getting it where it was before though. I hope to see it come back someday, but on another note I hope you're doing well in your life. It's gotta be tough working on projects like this without making any money from it. Still though It was fantastic work and I personally appreciate the fun It brought me and my friends that used it.

I can confirm the recent 1.195 update broke the script for the energy weapons.
It needs to be rewrite cause its generatig a lot of errors.

So I finally found out why the weaponcore weapons seem so lacking compared to these. And why I had such ease taking out large grid ships with just a small small-grid fighter. It seems the small grid explosive cannon does as much damage as the large grid one. It destroys 6 large grid heavy armor blocks in one blast. Can't imagine this is intentional?
