its up to you if this is lore friendly my friend it changes the colour of blood. If you think the blood makes no sense to you then it is not lore friendly to you. Also no issues as of today I guarantee you that.

Well for the Western Hive, the orange just seems a bit too blend-y with certain grounds, so changing it in some way would help. As for the South Hive, the pink is hot enough to rival the sun, so it could definitely be a bit duller. I'd say the miscellaneous changes you made are all good, so thanks for taking the suggestions of a random stranger who really likes your mod.

south hives? because the western have default intensity also the skimmers i figured were a lil too much and i decreased it just now. Also the fogmen have a blue tint to the grey now so blood is distinguishable from the ground so ill add a bit of color to the fishmen to make the blood more soft in color then just blue.

Well I'd say the biggest offenders would be Fishmen (as I mentioned earlier), both Hivers, and Skimmers. Skimmers marginally less so, since the blood is mostly fine as is, but the others are far more saturated than anything in the game and look extremely out-of-place. I'd suggest making the Fishmen blood baby blue to resemble that of a Horseshoe Crab better, but I don't do much Kenshi modding, so I don't know if that's possible or not.

I have decreased most blood intensity by a factor of 10% to 25% mind you the blood intensity of fishmen has been decreased it is still high due to the nature of the blood type. also the west hive have the same intensity as the humans do.

I agree, i will change this by a factor of 25% however youll need to list the biggest offenders.

You think you could make some of the brighter blood a bit paler? Some colors just look way too silly, with the Fishman's being the worst offender.

I am also working on a materials mod. It adds black steel and teko weapon designs to the crafting of weapons for looks, as you imagine its dark bladed weapons and a additive of demonic red design for weapons. Ive already made a faction and roamers i just have to make it seamless in the world of kenshi.

Yes indeed my friend however it is rather difficult i am hitting modders block, as I can do so much with the engine and making new races i had to scratch a aliens race mod i was working on. I am going to replace this with greymen instead with unique looks but same physics and animations as humans.

My pleasure, yes that’s exactly why I made this mod, the inconsistency with the other creatures and blood Colors of races was apparent and it didn’t feel complete to me. Now blood is way more varied.
