Trainlovercole: Yes, on occasion the train stopped at Essex. GN's early Geeps were configured to run long hood forward.

Very excellent second installment Elphaba! I really enjoyed. Question for you? Did they really make special stops at Essex and why are all of the GP9's running long hood foward?

16 Nov 2013 latest comment? what a shame.. this is beautiful scenario

A lovely route... only one complaint: where did the fuel come from? When I stopped for track service at the end of part 1 I was about (IIRC) 175 gallons down; when I picked up the same train at the same stop in this scenario, I was full, without a diesel pump in sight. Can I get that same sort of fuel tank for my car?

Enjoyed every second of part 2 also, first time I think I have ever had to apply power going down the pass but thats the way this train is but it handles great. Tractive effort I think. The sky was beautiful going down the pass also. Looking forward to finishing up with part 3 tomorrow......Great job........Steve
