dont know what it meant about properly, in my case everything is okay, thank god, now i dont need to do extra step of teleporting to ship to use this and also it seems it can fix issue of survival mode where you like ass need to dig up and dig background to teleport back without killing yourself for the quick way
Based On What? 29 Aug, 2024 @ 12:47pm
This doesn't seem to work properly with Stardust Core Lite...

it's all about synergy when it comes to modding. Balance try to get the most bang for the buck.

there is no cutting mods there is performance for GL and optimizers which guarantee you great results. Look at my lastest posts on how to cut lag in starbound.
Kate Hanami 4 Jul, 2023 @ 1:56am
yeah, that's why I'm asking, I'm trying to lower my total mod count
and by that I mean to cut down of some redundant mods
with that being said, will this allow me to deploy mechs the same way the regular teleport would?
TGekko  [author] 3 Jul, 2023 @ 10:57pm
This opens a teleporter menu, which may not have mechs immediately available.
These two, however, should help you. The only difference between them is that one doesn't require admin in the world you play in:

Junkion Prime 26 Apr, 2021 @ 10:03am
@Farsight and anyone else wondering: yes, it works with FU.
Mythophile 22 Jan, 2021 @ 2:55pm
Nice. Now I just want a teleport item to send me straight to the outpost rather than going through intro missions to get there.
NeinDao 4 Oct, 2020 @ 8:26am
does this work with fu?
Dym0niter 29 Apr, 2020 @ 1:20am
this works fine for me. the only issue i ran into was that my friend can't use this when i'm hosting a multiplayer session
Arthieus 12 Feb, 2020 @ 6:06pm
when will they fix this
Sad Platinum 6 Feb, 2020 @ 7:11pm
You should make a quickbar terraformer
Suki 22 Jul, 2019 @ 1:03pm
has this been fixed?
Darian Stephens 20 Jun, 2019 @ 7:04am
That doesn't solve beaming up without walls behind you, such as from the planet's core.
It still needs to take depth in to account, since you can just remove the walls whenever you want.
Kotauskas 20 Jun, 2019 @ 4:11am
The player can't beam up if there's a backwall (MM right click, you get it) behind him. Simple.

Getting this message in log:
[12:05:21.658] [Info] Quickbar item "Teleporter": scriptAction is deprecated, please use new entry format

Quickbar changed the format so you might want to adapt
Darian Stephens 13 Apr, 2019 @ 8:36pm
This was just from a quick google, but would 'entityPlayer.getPlayerCoordinates()' work? You'd still need to at least get the size of a planet to figure out where the different layers are (Unless the radius just affects the looping for some reason?), but it's hopefully a start.
I appreciate that you have been looking in to this.

'Darian Stephens'
I must apologize, but I haven't found an implementation of difficulty adjustment which I care for. I do appreciate that the vanilla difficulties tend to change when teleporting is possible, but the only implementation that I have seen in a mod is to disable teleportation when under a block or occupying the same space as a wall (whether in Casual or not). Now, if anybody is aware of if there is a defined 'surface' level of the current planet, as well as a way to retrieve the y coordinate of a player based on their current planet, and how to retrieve those variables, I believe that I would feel a bit more comfortable attempting to disable this menu appropriately, but I would need to make a separate mod as I do not know of a way to detect which difficulty a player has selected.
TGekko  [author] 13 Apr, 2019 @ 8:29pm
For now, although it may be inconvenient, I recommend simply refraining from using the menu until you are at the surface.

I would love if there was a way to put "if player.canWarp() then /*open menu */" in the code, but 'player.canWarp()' is not a real function that can be used in mods -- at least, I haven't found anything similar to it.

I apologize that I have not found a way to properly implement difficulty adjustments for this mod, but thank everyone for the positive feedback and ratings.
Darian Stephens 7 Apr, 2019 @ 8:27am
Is there any word on restricting this to only work in places the normal ship teleportation does? I don't want to remove the struggle of climbing out of a deep cave before teleporting to safety.
TGekko  [author] 26 Feb, 2019 @ 10:30pm
Glad I could help! Also, thank you for the mech idea!
Slime In A Box 26 Feb, 2019 @ 7:09pm
Thank you, I'll switch to you mods now, as they are more convenient. Thank you for your time.
TGekko  [author] 26 Feb, 2019 @ 3:30pm
'Sirawesome'
Thank you 'ɪo' for the comment to help answer this concern.
Yes, the Quickbar Unlocker is what you would be looking for 'Sirawesome'..
However, I created a new mod to address the ability to summon the mech from anywhere:
Admin
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1667809786
Non-Admin
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1667805991
Please be aware that that mod will be considered a cheat or "/admin" ability to most people and servers -- this is why I did not simply add it to this mod, as I would not consider this mod a cheat for any 'casual' player (as it just gets rid of the loading time to your ship), although I may look into adding the deployment of the mech as you would from your ship to this mod at some point.
Hopefully the mentioned mod above is useful to you.
TGekko  [author] 26 Feb, 2019 @ 3:26pm
The main reason that normal mech deployment was not added to this mod originally was to maintain some form of realism, as I felt that the mech would probably have to be deployed from the ship if the game were real.

Again, thank you for your feedback!
Dust 26 Feb, 2019 @ 12:17pm
OK, but there is another mod you can get from Silverfeelin himself called Quickbar Unlocker that enables you to change your techs using quickbar as well, and you can summon your mech anywhere anyhow just by pressing the deploy mech button and then using the /reload command where you want to spawn your mech.
Slime In A Box 26 Feb, 2019 @ 11:22am
This mod looks great, but I think that I'll stick with the "Portable Tech + Teleporter Console" because it enables one to change techs whenever, and has an add-on that lets you summon your mech anywhere.
HenkeiUsagi 25 Feb, 2019 @ 3:33pm
this is outstanding, finally a mod that fills this need.
TGekko  [author] 25 Feb, 2019 @ 3:04pm
As far as the community or myself has tested this mod, It should only be necessary for the person who desires to use it to have it. The entirety of a server should not need to download this mod for it to work. I am not sure that I can guarantee this for every server, however, as I am not completely sure of the extent of mod detection within servers.
76561198051046610 25 Feb, 2019 @ 2:32pm
Does everyone in a multiplayer server need to have this installed for it to work?
TGekko  [author] 25 Feb, 2019 @ 2:15pm
.I appreciate the feedback for this mod. As my first Starbound mod, I would like to apologize if a feature that you would have liked to see is not here.

'Pillow Princess'
Thank you for the feedback, but the main point of this mod was to avoid needing an item as mentioned at the top of the description.
Simplicity in both file requirements and user actions was the goal of this mod.
Hopefully this can help some people to avoid such an item taking up inventory space and potential quick selection space.

'Darian Stephens'
I may look into how I might implement that feature into this mod, however I am not completely sure of if the Quickbar user interfaces allow for logic based appearance.
As for making this appear in the normal hotbar, I know of no mods that currently add buttons to the user interface in the top right; although, I too might appreciate that feature.
I make no promise, but I might look around to see if any examples for such implementations exist.

To everybody else who expressed their appreciation for this mod, thank you very much. I'm glad to have helped!
ATTA 24 Feb, 2019 @ 3:02am
That‘s right, players know this is a cheating tool mod,so you make it /admin version.
Darian Stephens 24 Feb, 2019 @ 12:20am
Would it be possible to have a version of this that doesn't ignore the normal teleport restrictions?
Also, maybe one that's just on the normal hotbar, instead of in a hotbar submenu?
Anny 23 Feb, 2019 @ 10:57am

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=951476104 downvoted cuz there this mod that not req admin also its lore friendly
TGekko  [author] 22 Feb, 2019 @ 1:25pm
Thank you 'Plutonium Tetrafluoride' for confirming that this mod is client-side. I believe that most of the mods that use the Quickbar Mini mod interface are the same.

As for 'IronMagician8', I'm not sure what to tell you. As much as I have tested it, I have not run into that problem.. I'm not sure how I would fix it, as mine appears to work without admin settings. Maybe another mod you have is conflicting with the settings?

'Dank Doritoes', I'm not sure how to help other than to suggest that you make sure that you have installed the Quickbar Mini mod listed in the description. I have not run into the problem of the button not appearing at all. Maybe another mod is causing an error with the Quickbar?

I apologize that I cannot help further on my end with those inquiries.

I really do appreciate the positive ratings though! Thank you everyone!
Anti_Nuke 22 Feb, 2019 @ 12:27pm
I don't see the button in order to teleport .-. and i have Subscribed to it
