and by that I mean to cut down of some redundant mods
with that being said, will this allow me to deploy mechs the same way the regular teleport would?
These two, however, should help you. The only difference between them is that one doesn't require admin in the world you play in:

it what i looked for
It still needs to take depth in to account, since you can just remove the walls whenever you want.
[12:05:21.658] [Info] Quickbar item "Teleporter": scriptAction is deprecated, please use new entry format
Quickbar changed the format so you might want to adapt
I appreciate that you have been looking in to this.
I must apologize, but I haven't found an implementation of difficulty adjustment which I care for. I do appreciate that the vanilla difficulties tend to change when teleporting is possible, but the only implementation that I have seen in a mod is to disable teleportation when under a block or occupying the same space as a wall (whether in Casual or not). Now, if anybody is aware of if there is a defined 'surface' level of the current planet, as well as a way to retrieve the y coordinate of a player based on their current planet, and how to retrieve those variables, I believe that I would feel a bit more comfortable attempting to disable this menu appropriately, but I would need to make a separate mod as I do not know of a way to detect which difficulty a player has selected.
I would love if there was a way to put "if player.canWarp() then /*open menu */" in the code, but 'player.canWarp()' is not a real function that can be used in mods -- at least, I haven't found anything similar to it.
I apologize that I have not found a way to properly implement difficulty adjustments for this mod, but thank everyone for the positive feedback and ratings.
Thank you 'ɪo' for the comment to help answer this concern.
Yes, the Quickbar Unlocker is what you would be looking for 'Sirawesome'..
However, I created a new mod to address the ability to summon the mech from anywhere:
Admin
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1667809786
Non-Admin
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1667805991
Please be aware that that mod will be considered a cheat or "/admin" ability to most people and servers -- this is why I did not simply add it to this mod, as I would not consider this mod a cheat for any 'casual' player (as it just gets rid of the loading time to your ship), although I may look into adding the deployment of the mech as you would from your ship to this mod at some point.
Hopefully the mentioned mod above is useful to you.
Again, thank you for your feedback!
'Pillow Princess'
Thank you for the feedback, but the main point of this mod was to avoid needing an item as mentioned at the top of the description.
Simplicity in both file requirements and user actions was the goal of this mod.
Hopefully this can help some people to avoid such an item taking up inventory space and potential quick selection space.
I may look into how I might implement that feature into this mod, however I am not completely sure of if the Quickbar user interfaces allow for logic based appearance.
As for making this appear in the normal hotbar, I know of no mods that currently add buttons to the user interface in the top right; although, I too might appreciate that feature.
I make no promise, but I might look around to see if any examples for such implementations exist.
To everybody else who expressed their appreciation for this mod, thank you very much. I'm glad to have helped!
Also, maybe one that's just on the normal hotbar, instead of in a hotbar submenu?
As for 'IronMagician8', I'm not sure what to tell you. As much as I have tested it, I have not run into that problem.. I'm not sure how I would fix it, as mine appears to work without admin settings. Maybe another mod you have is conflicting with the settings?
'Dank Doritoes', I'm not sure how to help other than to suggest that you make sure that you have installed the Quickbar Mini mod listed in the description. I have not run into the problem of the button not appearing at all. Maybe another mod is causing an error with the Quickbar?
I apologize that I cannot help further on my end with those inquiries.
I really do appreciate the positive ratings though! Thank you everyone!
