nice

Yes. I wanted people to be able to just hit "Play" and go into the testing arena, which requires it to be flagged as a story.
e 14 Sep, 2013 @ 8:17pm
Wait, there's a checkbox when creating a new content pack that says "no story data, resource files only". Does the testing arena in your mod conflict with that option?
e 14 Sep, 2013 @ 8:15pm
Ah, that's lame. Steam Workshop really needs better ways of sorting categories.
Tracker  [author] 14 Sep, 2013 @ 9:13am
I'm sorry, but I do not get to choose which tags show up. The system counts the testing arena as "story" so automatically flags it. I cannot change the tags that it automatically assigns.
e 13 Sep, 2013 @ 9:48pm
IF IT'S NOT A STORY OR MISSION, DON'T FLAG IT AS CONTAINING A STORY
Dude8851 10 Aug, 2013 @ 3:11pm
Hey, I'm new to steam, how do you get the dlc things to work?
Tracker  [author] 10 Aug, 2013 @ 2:13pm
New Update to the data-only pack: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=167548026

If you haven't, yet, you should switch to the Data-only package. This package is going to disappear pretty soon.

Yeah, I was just waiting for the Workshop to stop being weird before uploading
Firesnakearies 10 Aug, 2013 @ 4:55am
Is your new version finished already?
Tracker  [author] 10 Aug, 2013 @ 2:59am
The big machine guns are pretty overpowered. I actually have a strength requirement on them in the new version, I just haven't pushed it out because the workshop is acting strangely, today.

I also have a big fix for burst and full-auto causing delays similar to what you were describing on NPCs.
Gavin 10 Aug, 2013 @ 2:09am
Posting to say that my issue with the 3-second delay hasn't reappeared when I tried again with an identical loadout.

I do think that the HMG's full auto is overpowered though. Perhaps make it cost 3AP? That could represent having to brace and fire from a fixed position, rather than running and gunning. Is it possible to have requirements other than ranged weapons for guns? A strength or body requirement for HMGs would be cool.
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 5:58pm
Wirehead figured out a problem for me.

The sorting groups have to be default to be able to give it to NPC's and I was using custom ones. I'm going to update the pack tonight to change those and to add in the outfits/armor that I added. We should then be able to use cutom cyberware properly with NPCs!
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 4:07pm
I cannot remove the story flag. It automatically adds tags when you upload and you do not decide which tags are added.
Praxis 9 Aug, 2013 @ 3:53pm
Please consider removing the 'story' flag from this mod since it is not a plot/adventure pack.
Chris Dragon 9 Aug, 2013 @ 2:54pm
This is awesome stuff! Too bad the game doesn't do dual wielding...
Jack Saint 9 Aug, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Thanks again for the patience.
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 1:23pm
The filename has to match the id of the item exactly (with .item.txt at the end), so your file needs to be "AR 3 Aegis Accelerator.item.txt"
Jack Saint 9 Aug, 2013 @ 1:21pm
Done what you said and the weapon didn't appeared when I ordered to add item to actor, just for testing

At Edit Content Pack Dependencies, DMS is already marked when it tries to validate, says: File not Found: /data/items/Aegis.item, in file contents validation failed for: C:/Documents/Shadowrun Returns/.../data/scenes/"currentsceneateditor".srt.txt.
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 12:55pm
Oh, and make sure you have the DMS campaign as a dependency.
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 12:50pm
Sorry, Shoot (Single Insecticide) should be in quotations "Shoot (Single Insecticide)"
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 12:22pm
Try pasting the whole thing here and let me look at it: http://pastebin.com/
Jack Saint 9 Aug, 2013 @ 12:15pm
Now it accuses the 20th line to be: Expected String.

rangeModTable: 12

It conflicts with the rifle or insecticide damage by range ?
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 11:47am
There is only sinlge shot for the insecticide. Replace that line with:

modelessAbilities: Shoot (Single Insecticide)
Jack Saint 9 Aug, 2013 @ 11:41am
The ability modes:

abilityModes: "Single (Insecticide)","Burst(Insecticide)", "Auto(Insecticide)"

Either there isn't a way to represent a burst or auto Insecticide shot ( as it was in the file, Single (Insecticide), I copied from there )
Or the line does not need to be "Insecticide", just Rifle.

Will try, thanks again and again.
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 11:22am
That means that in the listed file there is a problem in the 40th line
Jack Saint 9 Aug, 2013 @ 11:15am
I've found the Aegis item in the DMS campaign folder, thanks Tracker. What I'm getting now, is a an error that says: ERROR: Protobuf Error in file C:blahblahblah

Error parsing text-format isogame.ItemDef: 40:38: Expected Identifier. This happens when I open the editor. Got any clue?
Shoopuf 9 Aug, 2013 @ 4:03am
Anyway to mod steam workshop content in order to add dependencies?
Tracker  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 1:29am
I'm not sure, stonetoes. I'll keep it in mind.
Gavin 8 Aug, 2013 @ 11:59pm
I exported the byte files for this into my shadowrun_core/data folder, then put them in a merchant in dead man's switch. I bought the trodes, sniper rifle and HMG. Now when using any ability in combat (even ones from the base game) I get a delay of about 3 seconds. Coyote doesn't however, and neither do enemies. Any ideas?
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:27pm
The aegis rifle is in the DMS campaign items folder
Jack Saint 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:26pm
Thanks, but it lacks exactly the weapon I need. Trying to make a Aegis Rifle.
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:12pm
I used Find in Files wih the rest of the files to get what I needed by searching through the default files. I made this, which shows icons and prefabs: http://shadowrun-returns.wikispaces.com/Weapons
Jack Saint 8 Aug, 2013 @ 9:57pm
Tracker.bpm, I'm trying to create a weapon, but I'm having problems with the id's. prefab, animation type. Isn't there a raw list ? How did you find out which codes are ?
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 4:48pm
New Update!

Gambit over at the Nexus made Alpha, Beta, and Delta-grade versions of all of my cyberware, which is really awesome!

bboy_damo 8 Aug, 2013 @ 4:48pm
You can spend more than that. I think the Delta Move By Wire 3 is 10 mil. By the way, I'm Gambit :)
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 3:20pm
Seres, Yes! Please do. I give out all of the text files and such so they can be ripped out and used wherever you folks want them. Feel free, just give me some form of credit and I'm happy.
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 3:19pm
Danke!

I'm going to release another update later today with the alpha-beta-delta upgrades that Gambit made for me. So nice not to have to do that, myself!

Man, the delta upgrades allow you to create the 6-Million-Nuyen man...
Seres 8 Aug, 2013 @ 3:19pm
May we use it in other packs?
Egon 8 Aug, 2013 @ 2:56pm
mehr davon, alle meine Waffen die ich je liebte
Mark_V 8 Aug, 2013 @ 1:17pm
Outstanding! There are so many cyber mods available in the original game, pen and paper, not snes, that need to be in the game. Looking forward to tweaking Buzz Saw my dwarf sam!
SeriousCat 8 Aug, 2013 @ 1:07pm
I'm really looking forward to the cyberware upgrades in the next update. It sucks that the original Dead Man's Switch didn't have Betaware or Deltaware cyberware.
Phinx 8 Aug, 2013 @ 10:28am
Cheers for taking the time to do this man, this is hands down the most usefull mod for all UGC atm thank you again.
bboy_damo 8 Aug, 2013 @ 8:35am
Get ready to go cyber crazy ya'll, next update has cyberwear grades.
yinepuhotep 8 Aug, 2013 @ 8:21am
You have to make an edited copy of the game so that you can add the lists of items to the game's merchants.
SundiataWTF 8 Aug, 2013 @ 5:53am
If I subscribe, will these weapons be automatically available in-game, or do you have to use it as part of a story?
Tracker  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 4:36am
Yeap, the description box has a character limit of 80. Makes it tough to fit anything useful in there...
yinepuhotep 8 Aug, 2013 @ 4:35am
That spreadsheet's a whole lot more useful in planning purchases than the in-game information box that always seems to cut off the description before it can tell you anything useful. Thanks!
