Tis class is pointless. Its almost auto hit class that is underpowerd compared to other auto hit classes. Speels are usless combos are....

Hi, I really like this mod but I am quite sure there is something not working properly in the Dragon Hide skill, as then I invest a full 10 points, I see barely +10 armor bonus, even though my base armors are in the hundreds. At +20% to all armors I should be seeing a significant increase, and I know this is true because the Ninja class has a similar armor bonus type skill and it increases physical armor dramatically... any chance this could be fixed?

i would like to say that this chracter class is simply op.. lol. in a good way.

however frozen flamme skill seems to be working only on melle criticals attacks... maybe this need to be checked out to see if it works well.

the lancet skill is just op when you deal only critical damage.. anyway. my favorite combo so far is the ice breath, then the eletric spikes... totaly overpowered.. and the dragon strike..

when used quickly all of the 3 attacks remains close to you and swipe the enemies in front...

ive noticed some combos allows you to multi cast the same skill within their respective 3 seconds restriction... for exemple.. the electric dragon attack has lower then 3 seconds to delay a next a attack so if your quick you can lunch 2 attacks back to back.

other is the flamme breath you can do the same allowing you quickly do a combo 1, combo 2, combo 3, combo 2, combo 3.

I tried this at one point but there is a lot of work involved. The lay of the class feels like a true Torchlight 2 class. Exactly 30 skills evenly divided across 3 groups (and nine of them are, of course, passives), and the level requirements line up with the standards perfectly. The total base stats are 2 points above standard, but I think there's a joke in THAT somewhere... I'm just not 100% on what it is yet. XD

Beyond that, I like the general concept of the class overall; A polearm/twohander-wielding melee warrior with broader options for elemental affinity than the Berserker, and with an interesting array of skills that keep the class relatively unique ingame... I salute you, Thorf. I friggin' saltue you.

I'm wondering the same as Markedydoddle, the class is ridiculously easy to steam roll through anything up until lvl so far on Synergies Elite Solo. I just need a couple pots in my inventory and it's boringly easy. Does this class balance our later? How can I modify some of the passives too make them a lot more reasonable, it's ridiculous to hit for 350+ crits across a whole mob pack at level 5 for almost 6 seconds -_-

I have a few hours with the class and I continue to enjoy it. synergy between the class trees leaves a little to be desired, however each tree is pretty impressive on its own once you are able to devote skill points to it.
I have found the Electric tree to be most rewarding as I can put strong dots on an entire room and then stay at range topping my hp off.
Boss fights are slow but can be very safe with this tree.

Definitely enjoying the class so far. I am playing a full focus dragoon and relying on a multiple active rotation for max dps is a nice change of pace from my single skill reliant berserker.

I strongly recommend this mod be played along with a noclassrequirements mod as itallows you to wear whatever set suits you.

Is it normal that at the beginning the class is op ( level 4 and I do like constant 300 damage ), because the class is awesome, but if the game is too easy... you know. so does the late game become harder? sorry I worry a lot :/

Tried the class for a bit. Don't know if it's possible, but it'd be a lot cooler if High Jump had the same animation as the Gargoyle's jumping slam attack instead of a teleport-like effect.

Is it just me or does thunder spikes change from lightning dmg to physical? Also, the dodge skills goes from 5 seconds to 4 seconds after reaching rank 5 tier bonus

There is 1 unique spear, but other then that I did not setup any unique loot as the project become exceissivly time consuming and eventual had to cut back to only small updates and fixes.

I'm about to restart playing through TL2 and I've been looking at mods, naturally. ACR led me to investigating the individual classes contained therein. And here I am. Dragoons. FF MMO inspired Dragoons. Definitely going to try that out in a bit when I get done merging some smaller things together to get past the limit.

To the point: I knew a Thorf who played on Ifrit server in my FF11 days. Are you one and the same, or have I just stumbled on a name-twin?

Hey Thorf. THANKYOU very much for making this class. I am only at level 20 - so havn't played as much as HODOR, however I am enjoying it just as much. I love the combo system - jumping into the fray, kick them in the face, then throw my javelin at any escapees.
I would have to agree with mr Hodor that the scaling seems a little weak on the "mage" side of the build; whilst they sound like great abilities their low output has stopped me from taking them as a skill.

I cant tell if this is overpowered or not since it wrecks the start of elite mode with ease. Does the class scale out into something more balanced over time???

You can as long as Dragoon is higher in the load order. Beware though, once you do this you may not be able to remove the Dragoon mod and continue playing with just ACR installed. It's possibble with mod unbinder you could, but I dont use or really even know much about it myself so I am not positive on that.

I have the ACR mod installed with this mod ( v.50 in it ) If I keep that installed, Can I just download this and run it Over ACR to use the newer version ? Or will this just mess up the game?

Start by clicking on "Subscribe" above th mod description. Start TL2 and click wait for it to update your mod Subscription then click on the Play button with the Gear next to it to open TL2 Mod Luancher. Select the mods you want to play with and change their load order (you usually want your major overhall mods like Esentials or Synergies at the bottom of the load list). Then click on the red Play button with the Gear next to it agan to launch the game with your selected mods. If you are still having difficulty you might look through the discussion forums for additional help installing mods.

me and my friend are doing a multiplayer elite synergies run with him playing this class, we haven't played for a few days, and now me and another friend can't start up torchlight with our usual mod configuration. Since this mod is the one that was most recently updating, i was wondering if you perhaps knew what the cause of this could be?
me and my friends are running the following mods in the following order:
SynergiesMOD, The Dragoon, Preacher, VitalityBalanceLite.

Awesome! I apreceate your feedback on my feedback! Does this mean no new updates to the dragoon soon? As for the combo idea, I didn't mean you should make them all combo dependant, I was thinking you could simply allow any of the 1's to be interchangeable and lead to any of the 2's Ie. Jump, lightning spikes, Dragon Roar rather than limiting it to a spec specific combo.

Thank you for your comments and the explanation on how you think it can be improved rather than just saying it’s too weak or op like most comments. I find I don’t have nearly as much time to put into this as I did when I started but if I do find some time I will most likely work on your suggestions. The combo system started as an idea to make something different but I’m afraid to make too many skills combo dependant where they can’t be used otherwise. I'll think on this next time I’m moding.
