Love this mod, but is it possible for you to add ganger armours (especial the elven lady samurai looking one) and the knights errants from dragonfall (all types) to the tiers?

Ok, for those of you wanting an editor free experience, have gotten the modded version of DMS up. You can just download it and play.

This has been the first game I've used the steam workshop and it seems like it's a nightmare for mod publishers. You should just use the nexus instead, or in addition. It doesn't have any of these issues.

Sigh, my modified version of DMS is finally ready to go and I'm hit with the Steam bug where you can't publish anything. Will keep trying.

this is really nice. Now all we need is for the campaign modders to start making uncooked versions of their mods available so we can add dependencies to them. The Shadowrun Nexus would probably be the best place for that.

There are WAY too many folders in there...its not worth it to me to have to dig through them all when I have no idea what's in them.

SRR has a bad habbit of putting your downloaded stuff in the wrong place, that's why you sometimes can't see things after you download them. Here's a sample thread about the issue: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/234650/discussions/0/864974880610881611/

Next to use these in a pack, you have to add this pack as a dependency, or manually place the files in a pack like seattle, that everythign is alraedy dependent on.

To add this pack as a dependency to another pack, open the pack you want to add the dependecy to in the editor. Then choose file->edit content pack dependencies. And add this pack in the dependency list. Once that is done, you can find a merchant, and add the clothing to the merchants gear.

It doesn't show at all in my streaming assets and I've asked repeatedly for help and nothing...
eijibayushi 7 Aug, 2013 @ 9:47pm
I am not even seeing this file in my streaming assets?

so how exactly do I use the editor to add this? I like the street brawler armor a lot. So where exactly in the editor do I find all these? I need it step by step. I'm a noob to this.

I really want to look like the Nephilm guy in teh bar? With the swords? I want his armor exactly but possibly with only ONE sword on my back. It does seem there is a way to mix and match armor pieces...
Mercs 7 Aug, 2013 @ 1:27pm
What about making "new" armors? There are merc's armors with different textures and some good-loking clothing on NPCs. Is it possible to make usable outfits for a player out of those? Will anybody care to try?

sick!

Can you do this for weapons? I want my Dwarf to use an axe but the high-end sword is just better

It's just a resource mod, but it comes with pretty good directions for importing into an existing (or new) merchant's inventory. If you copy your preferred outfit's item file into shadowrun core or seattle or some other pack everyone is deriving from, it'll continue to function in other UGC with your imported runner.
NeVeRLiFt 3 Aug, 2013 @ 9:21pm
Does this let you import a character in and get the armor/clothing and then save?

I get the feeling this is just a resource mod that someone can use in their mods.
Caerold 3 Aug, 2013 @ 8:44pm
Thanks for unlocking all these cool looks for my endgame runner!
eijibayushi 3 Aug, 2013 @ 5:24pm
I'm still not sure how to use this. exactly what do I do?
Crusher Bob  [author] 3 Aug, 2013 @ 8:24am
Once I get some other background packs done. I'll try to republish a version of DMS that includes all of them.
Crusher Bob  [author] 3 Aug, 2013 @ 8:19am
If you want to use them in another pack, open that pack with the editor. Choose File->Edit Content Pack Dependencies. Check off this pack. That makes the pack you want to play able to 'see' the new gear.

Now, to add it the the game:
In the editor, find a merchant you want to add the outfits to. Open up thier character sheet, goto the equipment tab. Then in the equipment lists, look for Merchant_T{1 - 4}_Clothing, and add that equipment list to the merchant. Save everything in the editor.

Now, you can goto that merchant in the game and buy the outfits.

As this is built as a 'cooked' pack, this procedure should work even in other cooked packs, like Dead Man's Switch.

Where am I supposed to put the files? Have it in my streaming assets but not working.
