This hangs loading the Final Contract board for me. The loading bar gets to about 97%ish and then hangs.

Had the matrix-mage problem too today.

Also a lot of spelling could be corrected and most of the boss dialogues seem to need some fixing. Last time i played the game crashed after i killed Smoke. It worked this time only to crash after i killed Bigtime. I baited him out of his room and killed him and his guards. I then entered the room and his dialog popped up. After it the game crashed.

Overall a very straight forward shooty run that is very rough at the moment. Could use quiet some trimming on the edges.

Nice if a bit lacking in dialogue. * * * three stars
I started this last scene with killing the north eastern site with the two autoguns in the office. Being a bit worse for wear, I quickly grabbed the kit from the desk and left the guns for what they were. Unfortunately this forces the game to remain in combat mode because of it being a single scene. This is a drag when ya still gottta shiv the other marks...
Maybe chop the final scene up into seperate scenes with a bit of dialog to uncover their locations fro0m the central shoppe?
Clicking the doors in the final scene hangs the game for me, why not add creditsscreen here?

they should but steam/valve has yet to patch this game and i cant fix anything till they do....im sorry but valve is takin there time

Looks like the decker-mages on Bigtime's contract are able to cast the Degrade matrix program? They're oneshotting all my runners after making them damage vulnerable +50. Is that a bug?

hmm second time I tried the Bigtime level it didn't glitch. finished the whole campaign and I gotta say that is a lot of work you did putting together all that content. great job.

when I killed Bigtime, his last words were 'KILL THEM!' but no more badguys came, I was out of turn based mode and I made 1 move then was unable to move anymore. the only thing that worked was my esc key to open the menu in the upper left. if there was supposed to be another combat after taking down Bigtime, you may have a bug that's causing a crash right there.

It would also be awesome to be able to resupply between contracts so medkits don't run dry.

I love the campaign you've made so far though, man; keep up the great work!

HBS has already responded to me and this was there response to me - we have our patch ready and have been working hard on it and are aware of the problem but steam has been acting nuts lately and we are waiting for steam to test there patch and fix the issue on there end and we dont know when valve will have that ready.....ofcourse im going off memory but its on steam forum of srr if ya wanna look...im really sorry guys i cant fix it until valve does there job and fixes the fraggin workshop

The game crashed.
The crash report folder named "2013-08-14_135104" next to game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!

I have been enjoying this mod and think you have done an great job however I have come across a most annoying problem, my game always crashes on the "final contracts" loading screen making it impossible for me to finish.

Yep, I said "Looking forward to" as in, "I'm about to play it." I only got on the train before the girlfriend got back :) (I wanted to play through this one so I could import the character into advanced contracts . . . have a good night!

Played through again to get ready for advanced contracts. Did you know about the one merc on the final contract who goes neutral? If you treat the top of the screen as north, he's one of two goggle-wearing guys with a big orc in the northeast. One goes neutral and does not attack, nor can he be targetted. Other than that, the cybernetics cart, the matrix sniffer skill being used outside, etc) Looking forward to advanced contracts.

workshop is till jacked up and wont allow me to update this still HBS said there waiting for steam before they can launch there patch wich is ready to go....but who knows how long steam will take there customer service is horrible and so is there effort to fix broken problems

if neverlift wishes to upload them to nexus i don't care but i am not interested in uploading to any other mod sites at the moment....steam and hbs will have the problems here sorted out soon enough!

If you was Kickstart backer you got a DRM free version of the game for MaxOSX and Windows.
This version does not use or need Steam.
You can add it into Steam if you wish thou... some people just don't want to use Steam.

You got your DRM free version here, along with the DRM free Soundtrack, PDF book of the game and some wallpapers.

backers who opted for DRM-free version can't get these excellent mods from steeam workshop, you know :(

I combine my posts: I ran through this again since your fixes and hit a couple problems. An NPC used a Matrix skill - I'll make a note of which one if I run through this again. On the final scene (3 bounties on same level) I found 2 items of cyberware and while in my stash they were highlighted with the plus as if I could equip them. Because the cart in that room didn't allow me access to cybernetics (only displayed a text box) I tried equiping that cyberware in my stash and it crashed (froze) on me. Not sure if loot is random and you haven't run into that problem before. I was on the last of the three targets and things were going well when that happened so that was a bummer. Not sure I have the time to run through it again - still fun.

I was notified earlier by HBS developer brian that HBS is working on the publishing and workshop problems and a new update....sadly i am waiting until the workshop problem is fixed and for the new HBS update to come out before i release the new series ADVANCED Contracts....ill keep you all posted and thanks for playing the contracts!

If the folder structure of the non steam version is the same as the one from the steam version, it should be pretty easy to play it.

Fun so far, nice work! However, I am in the run with Haylon Marr (early on) and his crew outside this building. He buffs his two cronies for aim....but then hits them both each with a fireball or some spell right after...they must be neutral-enemy or something to him? Also a few major gramar mistakes so far (lack of punctuation etc.) makes it a little choppy for the necessary dialogue ya gotta read.
