Ahh but the mod is broken because the shipyards do not hold gold. I cannot build a ship in them. Looks pretty though. :(

The shipyard does not hold gold to build the new ships. I do enjoy this mod

Cool mod, I like that everyone is dyslexic here too had some good laughs in the comments.. shipyard snaps to foundations seems pretty straight forward but ya'll keep thinking foundations snap to shipyard cos derpy derp.. :lunar2019grinningpig: derp derp lol.

Yes the shipyard will snap to foundations but foundations will not snap to it, thats why its indefinite pickup so you can place it then pickup to adjust foundations accordingly

Ok looks like you have to place a foundation FIRST and then the shipyard snaps to it. Its a little tricky to see the placement this way but it appears to snap to the center of the horizontal piece closest to shore.

Color me stupid, but I can't find the snap point. I placed the shipyard down and now I am trying to snap a foundation to it but can'rt figure out where it snaps.

By "back" do you mean the side away from shore? Is it back left or back right?

It don't worked for me on SP. I placed first the shipward, but can't snap any foundation or ceiling. I've activated noclip. Maybe i did someting wrong?

ok cool. I loaded this on single player and it was working. I placed a floor and your shipyard snapped right to it all centered and perfect

It cannot, and I haven't been working on this mod since the first mega update dropped, mostly due to no longer having a server cluster to test it on but since single player has now dropped i may take it up again but im not promising anything

This has not been mentioned by anyone else and i have not encountered the issue. The changes the mod makes are very slight and do nothing regarding the character or redis database so i think you may have another issue

I’m not 100% positive but I think there’s an issue when you add this mod it karups the red is data base and deletes users character information every time I add this mod my database gets corrupted

I was living without this mod, but no more. I found the perfect place to put my shipyard, and the damn thing or was snapping on the bottom of the sea or outside in the beach where everything was in the way. I got so frustated and this mod saved me. Very well done, working as intended.Thank you.

that's nothing to do with this mod once a ship is released it is independent of the shipyard. With the anchor dropped it shouldn't move anyway

I am running this mod on my private server and works great. I just have one minor bug to report. I released a galleon but left it in the yard so we could finish stocking it with a much shorter climb, 1.5 flights of stairs vs 3 flights. It took several sessions and somewhere along the way the ship shifted to the port (left) up against the inside of the yard. When I finally tried to move it I almost sunk the ship trying to grind it out of the yard.

Can you see if there is a way to keep the ship centered once it has been released but still in the yard proper.

As far as alignment on vanilla parts goes.. thats easy! But this would make a few things far easier! And it would save a TON of foundation work!!

Great idea!!! My only issue is the being able to be picked up. I don't mind as much as a 60 second timer. But indefinitely is too much. How hard would it be to add in a variable as an option for pickup time, defaulting to indefinitely?

It increases the depth that shipyards can be placed and they can be free-placed as well as snapped, also the placement collision box has been reduced so yes they can be placed more easily than vanilla. But you will need to be careful of any obstructions that could damage your ship when released.

Anyone try this mod yet? I got an issue on with the vanilla shipyards on my server, people complaining about not able to place the shipyard or having a hard time placing them. Was wondering if this mod will help them place them more easily.
