Is this any different from manually setting timescale to 1?
L1quidSn4ke 17 Jan, 2018 @ 9:07am
~ set timescale to #

now you dont need a mod.
fyi, a lot of quests freeze if the timescale is set to below 2
Poison 26 Nov, 2016 @ 9:29am
xD just cause you never heard of the bug before doesent mean that its not from your mod...
Elitegamer010 15 Jan, 2016 @ 11:38am
"im afraid i cannot change this because of the limitations of the engine."

there's this thing callled SKSE meaning skyrim script extender which might help you with that.
[ΠKA]cajthaml 18 Feb, 2015 @ 7:07pm
I respect your mod and your work but your reasoning contains an argumentative fallacy. Just because you've never heard or seen it before doesn't mean it must be another mod

When I disabled RT 1:1 the issue discontinued. I have been unable to re-create the issue under any circumstance since disabling RT 1:1

Thanks,
-Caj

never heard of the bug before. must be another mod
[ΠKA]cajthaml 17 Feb, 2015 @ 2:33am
Maybe it's another mod but whenever I block with the perk that slows time, I get stuck in slow time for a solid 2 minutes. This is highly annoying because opening chests etc takes a long time too... although I admit it's nice mopping the floor with your enemies. It's not 'sometimes' it happens every time.

Also, thanks for suggesting the 5:1, totally forgot about it!
rpercy06 5 Jun, 2014 @ 1:34am
5:1, what timescale wise? That would be a bit fast for my liking (since I was looking for real-time), but if it doesn't cause the issue it sounds better than vanilla, I'll check it out. The 1:1 is perfect but the ground popping in incredibly immersion breaking. I have a 1:1 (real-time) mod for Oblivion and was just looking for the same for Skyrim. I do appreciate the time and effort you put into these though and really just stopped in to say "thanks"! I imagine most mods take a great deal of time to create and just wanted to let some of the devs (of my fav mods at least) know their players appreciate it.
Galle  [author] 5 Jun, 2014 @ 12:27am
perhaps the 5:1 mod ist something for you - that mod doesnt cause this issue
rpercy06 5 Jun, 2014 @ 12:25am
I absolutely love the concept of this mod but after hours of troubleshooting realized that it was causing my ground meshes/textures to load very slow. You wouldn't think this mod would cause that (neither did I) that's why it took me so long to find. If you ever fix this issue please let me know because I would love to play with this mod, but for me the ground popping in is a much bigger issue than the time moving faster.
Nacom 9 May, 2014 @ 4:12pm
I always wanted some more realism in skyrim, and this is exactly what I was looking for, hopefully it works well with the other 50 or so mods.
Yep 3 Apr, 2014 @ 3:05pm
I'll give that one a try, thanks. Still giving the mod a good rating though.
Galle  [author] 3 Apr, 2014 @ 12:10pm
this issues is unfortunately well known - the 1:5 mod does not have these problems. im afraid i cannot change this because of the limitations of the engine.
Yep 3 Apr, 2014 @ 12:04pm
Causes random Dragon encounters to never really spawn and wildlife does not respawn fast enough either.. I had to play for about 22 game hours to finally get a dragon to randomly spawn with this mod.. and that was with a mod that decreased the random dragon encounter respawn time significantly. I haven't had any wildlife respawn yet so I'm afraid I have to unsub. It was a really cool concept but there seem to be a lot of issues with it. I've had issues with NPCs (a few farmers) forgetting what time it is and not going to bed until 3 AM and waking up after noon.. Usually they're up by 7 AM at the latest.
Charlemagne 24 Jan, 2014 @ 2:23pm
How does 1:1 time affect things like magicka or stamina regeneration? Or spells that say "it lasts for 60 seconds" things like that?
Bees? 12 Nov, 2013 @ 7:41pm
now make it run off of system time.
Barrow 26 Jun, 2013 @ 1:38pm
Great mod; I use the console command myself at this point, but I wouldn't have thought to change it if I hadn't tried this first. Thanks for making it.
RayeGunn 22 Jun, 2013 @ 3:02am
besides the fact you can easily do this with a console command, a timecale of 1 can cause some serious game glitches, I'd be very careful of using this.

~ Set timescale to 1
'za 8 Apr, 2013 @ 2:06pm
well dude it is redundant.
Galle  [author] 8 Apr, 2013 @ 1:57am
smartass
'za 7 Apr, 2013 @ 7:02pm
er, quotations.
'za 7 Apr, 2013 @ 7:01pm
this is useless because you can use a command to change the timescale. type in "set timescale to XXXX - XXXX" the x's are the numbers that you put in to alter it. obviously dont type in the parenthasese.

"IMPORTANT: YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME BEFORE ACTIVATING THIS MOD. Otherwise it can cause problems with the tutorial! I'm searching for a solution."

If I read that, it would have saved a lot of headache. LOL. Thanks for the hard work on the mod, I subscribed and put it in my collection! This goes perfeclty with frostfall and realistic needs imo.
Crumpet the Great and Powerful 31 Mar, 2013 @ 2:04am
I must say that is a nice looking pocketwatch but nowhere near as nice looking as mine :)
Galle  [author] 15 Feb, 2013 @ 1:35pm
wenn jeder bug im titel jedes mods stehen würde, würdest du bei 110 mods einen roman haben - die meistens bugs werden nichtmal erwähnt in modbeschreibungen - ich musste auch schon oft lange suchen nach mods, welche crashes verursachen
-.- 15 Feb, 2013 @ 1:14pm
Yes I read that. Well after searching through all my 110 active mods... always disableing and reloading that first scene. Put it in the title. That you see in the data files, not a comment here.

I guess there is still no solution with the intro and Alduin's first appearens (after character chreation)? You REALLY should put a hint in the title! I was search for 30min+ to find this mod to be the reason.
Nightbreed 10 Feb, 2013 @ 11:09pm
A quest where you ahve to kill a hagraven named "Petra" an NPC gets stuck.
Galle  [author] 20 Jan, 2013 @ 5:22am
i really want to know a fix for the texture bug - but it seems that the engine itself is the problem - by the way i have an alternativ mod 1:5
Rock$tar 20 Jan, 2013 @ 5:08am
There is also a other problem with setting timescale to 1:1, it causes the ground textures to load very slowly, sometimes when you are on top of them they still have the LOD textures. This problem is not caused by this mod, but it is a common thing when setting timescale to 1:1 even if you use the console command.
I'm using 1:4 now, and this problem doesnt happen anymore, if anyone knows a fix for this, let the creator now so he can change it in the mod, or let it know to me personally, so i can change it myself.
FifthStreet 20 Jan, 2013 @ 12:58am
I have encountered quite a few quest NPCs getting "stuck" while using this mod, unfortunately.
Winchester1973 18 Jan, 2013 @ 4:05am
Geat mod! Like it. :) If someone wants to use the concole instead of this mod, the command is "set timescale to ..." :D No, you should use this mod. :D
Peltijäbä 13 Dec, 2012 @ 7:59am
Ah yes, that's what I meant :3 sorry ^^
Galle  [author] 13 Dec, 2012 @ 7:26am
the timescale has to be 1 ;D so yes - if you can handle the console you do not need my mod - but its helpful for other people
Peltijäbä 13 Dec, 2012 @ 7:22am
Fair enough
Galle  [author] 12 Dec, 2012 @ 5:46pm
trololol - no - you have a little miscalculation
Peltijäbä 10 Dec, 2012 @ 8:35am
But isn't it the same thing when you open the console and type in "set timescale to 60"? :3
INS4N3S0CK5 6 Dec, 2012 @ 5:04pm
i assume the ratio is 1 minute gametime = 1 minute realtime?
[►] Djerůn 20 Nov, 2012 @ 3:43pm
how do you define "the beginning of the game"? when you step out of the cave and alduin flies away? until you reach riverwood?
any idea how far into the main quest line you need to have progressed when using an alternate start mod that doesn't start the main quest line right away and doesn't have you walk through the helgen dungeon?
Brett Keane 13 Nov, 2012 @ 12:04pm
This mod is awesome. I've done a few quest on my new hero and it's a sunny day. Time is good with this.
Sorrow 13 Nov, 2012 @ 10:41am
Trying this mod and may rate(up) in an hour after test c=
Nightbreed 5 Nov, 2012 @ 11:23am
I really enjoy this mod, i havent encountered any bugs yet.
But i will inform you as soon as i see some.
Schuppentier 26 Sep, 2012 @ 1:59pm
Good idea, but seems to break some essential, maybe timebased events... when this mod is active, u cant start a "new game" cause alduin wont atack the starting location, and the executer wont try to cut off youre head.
McGuffin 2 Sep, 2012 @ 4:02pm
as i wrote before i kinda confirmed even after reinstalling the game,

this is an awesome mod, but completely brakes AI for some random reason

npcs stop doing, moving, quest progressing abnormaly, npcs start events without me beeing close to them, dragons appear without me beeing close in cells,
took me like 2 hours today to find out that its this mod. pwease look into this >_>
THICCOSAURUS 16 Aug, 2012 @ 7:10pm
this one of my favorite mods but be sure to disable it for certain situations like alduin in the tutorial as that has already been said and farkas just stands there in proving honor instead of turning into a werewolf
McGuffin 13 Aug, 2012 @ 1:50pm
it seems like this mod bugs up the overall AI of NPCs,

some NPCs will stop doing their script if you in range to get "social" from them

example: bleack falls barrow bandit taht sets up the gate trap with snake/fish/eagle

or the escape in sidna mine, the guys will just stop escaping if you bump in to them...
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 29 May, 2012 @ 4:55pm
try opening the console once the game starts (on a new character) and typing "set timescale to 20" (without quotations)
Then, once you are free to go, and ralof/hadvar finishes the tutorial, use the command "set timescale to 1"
