Not terrain-conforming, and boxy-looking. Gonna stick to farm decals by Beardmonkey instead.

I am trying to create the real life city I live in in this game, but the area I live has LOTS of farmland, something which isn't found in any of the menus. With your mod, now I can create the city I live in!

Great looking fields but unusable because of the changing colormasks. I also tried several ways to colorize them (ingame) myself but no luck there. Indeed pretty time consuming to plop down a bunch and move all the fields with the same color to the right position. If someone got an idea to fix this.. let me know!! Also.. are there other fieldprops that don’t have this issue?

I LOVE THIS!! THANK YOU

I'm struggling w the colormasks too. No building UI pops up when you click on them so you can't change the colormasks manually. Any tips?
Lielanthris 22 Mar, 2024 @ 7:49am
The wheat fields keep changing between colors randomly when plopped. I can see no way to change them to a specific color. and even trying to copy the correct color field with Move It!, it will change color once copied and plopped. This is pretty time consuming. Is there an easier way to obtain only one specific color of the fields?

It would be great if this MOD could be seen from a distance like your MOD.:steamhappy:

Hey ilcicci1983. Sorry I just saw your comment now; I haven't gotten notifications for the comments on this for a long while, no idea why.
That would be really cool, but I have no idea how to do that. Do you have that information?
ilcicci1983 12 May, 2022 @ 12:18pm
Great asset! Are you thinking to make it Procedural object compatible as weel? would be nice to not just have square fields...
otter 8 Feb, 2022 @ 11:51pm
I'm getting an issue where the props keep changing color when I place them

Thank you for telling us where to find these in the menu! I use them constantly ... maybe I love open fields? Yep!

Nice

Hi @MrMiyagi, I've always loved this farms. Recently I got into PO and noticed that I couldn't get this to work properly with PO. Upon conversion into a procedural object, they sink into the map and it is very finicky/not possible to edit them. Is this something fixable?

Beautiful!

@MrMiyagi, are the Industries DLC version of Dutch Flowers and French Lavender published?
Da, eto ya 19 Apr, 2020 @ 12:29pm
@LoveChill You don't understand me. I need to get a large wheat field, 1x1. 5 km.
The size of 1 field from this set is 144 meters. When I put the same asset next to each other, they differ in color and it turns out to be spotty. To get monotonous, you have to differentiate by shades, but this is a very long time.
Nick 14 Apr, 2020 @ 7:09am
amazing!
LoveChill 9 Apr, 2020 @ 6:51pm
@Brandon @ Crab Sticks With move it you can "refresh" any selected prop or asset, this way you can go through every colours variations of an asset without mooving it ;)
Da, eto ya 3 Apr, 2020 @ 12:19pm
Please make the fields of the same color in separate assettes. It is very necessary to make large fields, several kilometers in length. Now it's torture (
Brandon 24 Mar, 2020 @ 8:36pm
love this so much, but one request! If you could make a version where the color variants were separated out that'd be awesome. It's really hard when combining multiple plots to get the colors to match up.

DeCzaah, is it already known when the Dutch flower fields for Industry DLC are being released ? If that's still gonna take a while, do you know if there are maybe invisible cropfields that function so I can place the flower fields as props over them ? They look beautifull and I would certainly use them in my Dutch cities...

*BANG!* That was the sound of my head exploding :D Thank you so much for sharing that, carbon! I love it

Rice paddies you say? That exists already.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1521656188

I combine them with the Seafood Harvest (blank farming crop harvester) to make them "functional" as the author didn't strip out a lot of the farming harvesting options available from the Industries DLC.

jesus christ finally a mod like this
MrMiyagi  [author] 19 Apr, 2019 @ 6:10am
Now that you mention it, it would be so cool to have rice paddies! Unfortunately i'm not able to 3D model, so it would have to be someone trained in that.
Dani de Vino 18 Apr, 2019 @ 9:40pm
They look SOO good! I love them. Is there a chance that you, maybe sometime in the future, make some rice fields in a few different color variants? I bet they would look amazing on my Philippine map I´m working on :)
MrMiyagi  [author] 9 Apr, 2019 @ 12:02pm
Thanks! :)
Sanctum Gamer 9 Apr, 2019 @ 6:17am

Thank you for your work !
MrMiyagi  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 8:36am
Thanks! Sp3ctre18 if your disappearing fields are functional Industries DLC farms, those are also being worked on at the moment by Maximilian, he's working on converting them to always visible versions.
Link to those is in the description above ^
Sp3ctre18 4 Mar, 2019 @ 5:15pm
I know I've got some disappearing fields so if these were the ones... awesome! Thanks.

MrMiyagi  [author] 3 Mar, 2019 @ 1:09am
Indeed. If we had an alternative name for the plant...
Incorniieytoo 2 Mar, 2019 @ 8:35pm
Rapeseed? That just sounds wrong...
KingBob 2 Mar, 2019 @ 3:39pm
Thank you so much for your answer, i bet i'll be spending so much more time in CS now. The farmfields really help making your overall city look less "square-y", This will change every city i make in the future!!
MrMiyagi  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 12:26pm
Yup, that's what I have to do, too. Honestly I'm finding it a little annoying (lol) but it is the best way to do this specifically relating to performance. We would have to add additional fields for each color, which will explode the size of this pack.
I have a super easy way to help you with this. Main Menu, click Asset Editor, New. Choose one of the wheat fields as your template. You'll see the field, to the right click "Material" on the menu. Set each color variation to the shade you want (colors! cool eh?). Save as a different name like "My Wheat Field", restart the game and now you have your very own wheat field with just one color!

Hopefully this doesn't addict you to asset editor, but I bet it will lol So much fun
KingBob 2 Mar, 2019 @ 2:37am
Great mod! but how do i keep the same color shade of my wheat field when placing mulitiple wheat field sqares, to make a giant field? right know i use move it, place a bunch, and delete those with the wrong shade, but is there a better way?
