Cant even find the weapon to be placed in the world not sure what happened or its just that i cant see it but pictures are nice and i always did like stargate stuff

Seems to be broken now. I have seen other comments saying that all weapons which self generate ammunition are broken.
I hope its fixable, I'd hate to see this die!

Ooh, I have the Nanobot Build and Repair mod, but never thought of combining it with a projector! Great idea!

I wouldn't know how, hopefully KEEN will have an option to disable turret friendly fire. For now I'd suggest using either the Nanobot Build and Repair mod (which combined with a projector will automatically repair any damage) and or the Energy Shield mod (although) it will require a very powerful shield.

Can you edit it so that it doesn't damage any grid it is attached to? Cus if you shoot it at something within 200 meters or so, it will destroy your ship.

Yeah, unfortunately it's just a problem with Space Engineers. Hopefully they're add an option to disable Ship Self Damage. As for me, the ship I used these for I added a projector and the Nanbot mod so the damage gets self repaired.

Love the mod, works fine and all with the exception it does have an annoying tendency to destroy the grid its attached to.

@1988tsiturbo That's odd, I just started 2 new games. With and Without mods. I could spawn the turret just fine. I'd suggest checking other mods you might have as perhaps there is a conflict.

@Geneticus The turrets are working just fine currently, as just the scripts, they are originally Darth_Biometric's as they update Space Engineers gets updated there's always a chance this mod will not work anymore but I don't have the know-how to fix it if it does.

Script for MyObjectBuilder_LargeGatlingTurret is using the obsolete MyEntityComponentDescriptor overload!
You must use the 3 parameter overload to properly register script updates!
This script will most likely not work as intended!

I'm working on something else, however the base mod belongs to someone still active on Steam and Space Engineers modding, so I won't be posting it until it's done as well as gotten permission :)

Large only, the range is....errr, very large. I think I changed it. It's something around 3000m max aiming/firing range, but the beam will travel for 7000m

so assuming from the comments, its a turret, not a fixed facing weapon.

Questions,
1. is it small and large grid, or just large??? (i'm guessing just large because of the power consumption)
2. what is the range???

I don't care that you re-uploaded it. I've had that vac ban for years and it has nothing to do with workshop content or space engineers. I'm glad you re-uploaded it I honestly only posted it for personal use and didn't mean to make it public and took it down because maintaining it was annoying.

You still have a VAC ban on your account according to Steam and Google, but I guess that isn't actually the case. Going on your profile at least confirms you were at some point recently. Checking your workshop at the time showed no items listed, I assumed they must have all gotten deleted by Steam, which was annoying because a build was using them and I had already begun altering builds to including then.

Although it should be noted that THIS mod wasn't specially yours, another person with the files uploaded a green version without sound. That didn't work for me so I altered that one. And even then the mod was originally created by Darth_biometric. I really don't think you can claim ownership or 'asmusment' over a mod that was, at the very least, deleted. And then changed hands from a minimum of one other person because I started changing things.
