SO all you need to do is delete bloodline_is_active_for = PREV
NOT = {
any_owned_bloodline = {
has_bloodline_flag = created_bloodline
}
}
lines from events and hv decisions and thats all? Jeez so easy to fix this really stupid restricment
btw why age of blessed child changed from 45 to 35? We are still young at these years!
also muslim get scholar instead unique faqih? And why not allow to founder forge few bloodlines at once

@stay healthy, bro
find the forge unlimited bloodlines hip.mod file in your CK2 mod folder and change the second line to:
archive="mod/forge unlimited bloodlines hip.zip"
The original archive points to the wrong location. That's how I got it working.

@Kashf is correct about the archive path.
Siketh 15 Sep, 2019 @ 1:32pm
the archive path in .mod file is incorrect.

@Tensar & @zlatky what is your problem? is it that you cannot select forge bloodline ambition after changing to your son/daughter? do you use a mod called bloodline fix?

i had the same problem, but after i checked everything, the problem was there's another mod that was in conflict with this one.

make sure no other mod is changing this file: common/objectives/00_HF_ambitions

@TheBlackBull70 this is a mod so that your son, grandson, great grandson can forge a new bloodline. by default, if your character has already forged a bloodline, your descendants cannot take that ambition, which is stupid even if your son has 200k prestige..
zlatky 21 Jul, 2019 @ 10:18am
Is this mod still broken? Any update?
Tensar 13 Jul, 2019 @ 3:51am
Not working, I can't forge another bloodline, only 1.
TheBlackBull70 26 May, 2019 @ 6:48am
Is this a weird question?
TheBlackBull70 24 May, 2019 @ 9:14am
forced bloodline is already in Holy Fury. why this mod?
Trveheimer 7 May, 2019 @ 3:52pm
♥♥♥ i was just about to ask you to do this mod but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
TheBlackBull70 3 May, 2019 @ 3:22pm
Do you need holy fury for this?
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 3:17pm
@KA4E6 Whatever works! XD
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 3:09pm
@nilrem Thanks it worked. I guess I'll use it that way.
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 3:01pm
@KA4E6 I would delete the file:

mod\Forge unlimited Bloodlines\events\roman_events.txt

It's for getting the roman bloodlines even if you own a roman or created bloodline and to enhance compatibility it is not included in the HIP version.
Beside that there is just one line it's "emf_character" in "emf_character_become_heretic", i don't know how important this is.
But you could just paste the file events\HF_bloodline_events.txt from the HIP version into the vanilla version.
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:42pm
@nilrem one question is there any difference between this mod and the original one: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1669393639
Because I tried with it and managed to go through 'Loading Events'
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:35pm
@KA4E6 Yes that should work! But i would rather think about a cleaner way first before renaming the mod. But the oddest part is that this is not an issue for everyone!?
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:11pm
@nilrem Forgot to mention that it could be every different name which appears before the HIP mod just the exclamation mark would put it right on the top
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:08pm
@nilrem what if you rename your mod from 'HIP - Forge Unlimited Bloodlines' to '!HIP - Forge Unlimited Bloodlines' this way you would not have to write dependencies because the game will load your mod first
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 2:04pm
@KA4E6 THX the quotation marks went still missing after uploading. But i'll keep you up to date!
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 1:40pm
@nilrem I think I have managed to do it I'll upload the files to see if it's working for you. I have also subbed to the thread so just write if you have founded something :)

My Attempt: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=07423941588016269416
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 1:29pm
@KA4E6 Just tried it, on a new mod but seems not to work. I will give it a few thoughts and try to tinker with it morrow. Maybe i will find a clean way to solve the issue. Let's hope so! xD
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:55pm
@KA4E6 Interesting attempt i will try this!
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:48pm
@nilrem Try to rename your folder from 'HIP - Forge unlimited Bloodlines' to 'forge unlimited bloodlines hip' and use only one descriptor
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:34pm
@KA4E6 Actually thats how my .mod file looks like but after uploading it gets altered from:
name="HIP - Forge Unlimited Bloodlines"
path="mod/HIP - Forge unlimited Bloodlines"
dependencies={"HIP - Historical Immersion Project" }
To:
name="HIP - Forge Unlimited Bloodlines"
archive="mod/forge unlimited bloodlines hip.zip"
dependencies=
{
HIP - Historical Immersion Project
}
But if i put a .mod file named desciptor into my mods folder (mod/HIP - Forge unlimited Bloodlines) it won't get altered and the game should create the subs .mod file out of this file. But i still need the first one because thats the one in my mod folder. Without that i cant activate nor upload/update the mod. And still thx for your effort clearing this up, at least now i have a fix for the subs! So now i'm curious if i find a way to solve this.
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:13pm
@nilrem try with this dependencies: dependencies={"HIP - Historical Immersion Project"}
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:09pm
@KA4E6 I guess i have to test, if i find a way to update the mod while keeping the quotation marks in the dependencies line with just one descriptor file. But the 2 descriptor files thing is prety common with ck2 submods from the steam workshop.
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:02pm
@nilrem I forgot to mention the workshop automatically made the descriptor file in the subscriber's folder out of your descriptor file so you don't need two descriptors
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:00pm
@nilrem I'm not modding ck2 but I have experience with hoi4 and the principles are about the same I'm only not sure how the uploading works in ck2 but you should be able to upload it with one descriptor file because for me it's working when I delete the incorrect one
nilrem  [author] 23 Mar, 2019 @ 11:58am
@KA4E6 Thx for letting me know. But this is pretty strange, cause i have to have a 2nd descriptor.mod file if i upload a submod to the workshop. Because the workshop alters the one in my mod folder to a none working version and the workaround is the 2nd descriptor file in the mods folder itself. This should create a working .mod file in the subcribers mod folder. Nonetheless again thank you very much for the info on how to fix this issue!
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 11:55am
Bonus review: Check all of your mods which are HIP compatible because I tried to use HIP - Inherit Bloodlines and it had same problem at 'Loading Events' and also had two descriptor.mod files in it :)
KA4E6 23 Mar, 2019 @ 11:40am
Probably a little bit too late but I read your discussion about the problem people have with 'Loading Event' phase and I had a look at your mod and saw that in the archive you have two descriptor.mod files I deleted the incorrect one by comparing with the file you have uploaded and then used the same file to replace the 'forge unlimited bloodlines hip.mod' where the mod is and now everything works
nilrem  [author] 13 Mar, 2019 @ 3:09pm
@elderiii No my files are altered HIP files. And my mod will be loaded after HIP and overrides the vanilla HIP files.
elderiii 13 Mar, 2019 @ 3:03pm
The only two mods I have with that file are this one and HIP itself.... don't they need to be different names to work together, or do I misunderstand how that works?
nilrem  [author] 13 Mar, 2019 @ 9:33am
@elderiii Just tested it, the mod works with shattered worlds. May check the requirements if the ambition is not available. And if the ambition won't finish it should be another mod using the file:
events\HF_bloodline_events.txt
Hope this helps!
elderiii 12 Mar, 2019 @ 2:59pm
Does this work on shattered world type maps? It does not appear to be working in my game and I'm trying to determine if it's this mod, other mods I have, or if the map type affects it (since I think many bloodlines are designed for actual historical entities).
nilrem  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 11:29pm
@Kindjal83 I'm sorry to hear that. There was an issue with the .mod file but after some testing i could not create a CTD. Nonetheless you may consider to delete and reinstall HIP make sure you are also deleting the HIP folder (note: make a copy ofl your important HIP saves and screenshots before that). Further than that i have no clue what could cause the crashes you experiencing. Hope that fixes the issue, good luck with it.
Kindjal83 9 Mar, 2019 @ 1:38pm
Hey,mate. I keep geting the same bug that zlatky gets when the game is loading. I've done everything you recomend, I've unsubscribed and deleted the files in the mod folder, then resubscribed and it still crashes at the "loading phase"... Any ideias at what I'm doing wrong?
Jack 8 Mar, 2019 @ 2:54pm
Oh okay
nilrem  [author] 8 Mar, 2019 @ 1:46pm
@Jack HIP means Historical Immersion Project [ck2.paradoxwikis.com], it's a collection of mods for Crusader Kings II with a focus upon historical immersion. And in my mods i want to imply with "HIP" in the name that it is a submod designed to work with the vanilla HIP mod.
Jack 8 Mar, 2019 @ 12:31pm
What does HIP mean because you have two of the same mod on the featured thing and the only noticeable difference is HIP
nilrem  [author] 6 Mar, 2019 @ 11:56am
The mod is updated! Here is a link to the .mod file just paste it into your mod folder:
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=00999093320734637473

But it should download with the workshop after deleting the .zip file and the .mod file gets also updated by the workshop. Thats what caused the problem. Hope it works now, at least it should start with most other HIP-submods.
And again sorry for the inconvenience. Now have fun with it mate!
zlatky 6 Mar, 2019 @ 11:46am
Yey! Gimme a heads-up when you do-cheers! \m/\m/
