Traction engine? I never knew. I'll get the prints and check them out.

They're pretty much tractors. 'Traction engine' is what old steam tractors are called, and the term tractor actually came from traction engine. I've built two in ME and they're on my workshop - pretty much just tractors using Peaceman's Steam Engines.

No, they're not getting caught. I made guard rails so they track in straight, but pulling them up the long stone incline causes the rope to snap when it gets to the top. Very irritating, but now I won't have to worry about it. Tractor engines? I'll have to try it. Ta' for the suggestion!

Also, can I ask if you've checked out my traction engines? They may be useful to you.

@the oncoming storm If the problem is the ropes snapping, it should work... But, well, what tractors do you mean, the ones on your workshop? They seem light enough that their weight shouldn't be an issue, they may be getting caught on something.

I've been having to push my tractors up the ramp into the barn because the ropes are too weak for the towing mechanism. I hope this solves the problem.

Ah. Thank you for the reply Sir!

The way to make that rope stronger is having a heavier grid. If you're pulling something with catches, pull on the main grid, and not the subparts of the catches.

@UndyingXian I don't think so, no.

Does this mod make the rope used with Right Click stronger as well?
