Thankyou so much, i've grown tired of re-loading to have some inquisitor's join in recruit prisoners, this is over powered but it's down to the user on who and how many you recruit

@Daddy Kaneki~ Thanks! Me too, which is why I made it. @seizadf~ sadly it's part of the code I can't change. Has to do with a hostile flag that has to expire before it's safe to let the guy walk in front of turrets. @Lato~ Yes they do.

Hello friend, I am a new (brand new) player in Kenshi and really want to make a big army made up of who ever I run into and I read your instructions and (maybe because I am usually slow to understand) If I read it right I have to put them in a cage and then talk to them to recruit them. Would you mind if you could help me out with a picture or a video? I would seriously appreciate it!

Oh wow I had to quickly remove this mod. I've never had a quit moment so fast in my life. Almost ruined my whole playthrough. Throws power and balance right off a cliff. Do people really enjoy using this?

Yeah, my experience too. Your recruits don't seem to... fully join your faction properly until you basically reload the game. So just save, load, maybe restart game first, and they'll start working as normal.

I'm a big fan of this mod. If it was good enough in Peace Walker and MGSV for your guys at base to go "Cmon!" at your victims of fulton extraction until they give up and join you, then it's probably okay for most people in cages in Kenshi to just accept working for the guy with the biggest stick. Specifically, the latest person to put them in a cage.

I really like this mod! Haven't tried Recruitable Prisoners yet, but I like that this is essentially a more accessible version if ones not feeling up for the tasks and challenges provided by Recruitable Prisoners. That aside, just the whole relations thing this can also do is HUGE and I'm so glad for it, because its really fucking hard to get those Starving Bandits to stop seeing you as public enemy number 1 for all the fights they keep starting with you.

@Kenkune~ If they're recruited, they aren't dead, so they won't count as such. If they are in a cage, they count as captured, though, even if recruited. Worldstates will update on capture, and not change after recruitment.

Didn't see an answer in FAQ or recent questions, but do world states still update if you recruit a key NPC like Tinfist? Not sure if them being on your team would cause them to be flagged as not dead/captured for World State purposes.

i dont understand, Pheonix tries to kill my skeleton. My skeleton recruits him, now they are both mining iron for me. Did my skeleton become a male greenlander or did Pheonix forgot he was a bigot?

This should go without saying for any mod, but if you're having issues: Move it around in the load order. It does actually matter.

If it's not load order, it's going to be an incompatibility issue. C'mon guys, It's not that complicated.

@Sroka~ Any cage will do. In fact, prisoner poles also work just fine. A character owned by YOU has to be the one to directly put them in the cage/on the pole for it to work, though.

I wonder if cage has to be yours or would it work cages found around the world? Like at slave shops or cannibal vilages.

@GLS~ Yes and no. Yes, it works on vanilla cannibals. No, it doesn't work on cannibals expanded, unless you get a mod patch.

unfortunately im not tech savvy, so at somepoint im going to have to try and make some patches for my favorite mods i use (Think theres like 5 or 6) unless someone here has permission or if the author is willing to make some patches, id be extremely grateful. if payment is required i can probably do that though funds are very tight as of late

@SureI'llHaveIt Thanks, the Problem was indeed UWE, which changed a bunch of stuff in regards to how it handles characters between my last play-troughs an now. I cobbled together a compatibility patch, if anybody is interested.

@Gloomy~ Works on my end. I'd check your other mods; if you came back and added more, there's a chance that you're dealing with non-vanilla recruits.

I used this mod on an older play-trough to recruit hivers and fogmen. Worked like a charm. Came back to the play-trough and now the dialog option won't show up, neither for fogmen now any other race. Has this mod stopped working, or is it something on my end that broke?

Once again, outstanding mod btw!!! I'm currently running about 10 different skeleton addition mods, and thanks to your mod I was able to aggressively recruit the entirety of Black Desert City lol.

I never even thought to look up the other dialogue packages, as I usually just quickly *Add dialogue package - Recruit_ALL --- next NPC!!?" I usually just walk them off into the desert and dismiss them anyways, or if capturing them was a pain in the ass, I put a lantern on them and dismiss them in the middle of Gut.

@Lord_Beefcastle~ About the "Join my squad", I think that's probably a vanilla dialogue conflict, or another mod. In Kenshi, if multiple dialogue packages exist, the game picks one at random to play when you talk to the character, so sometimes the game picks Recruit Anyone, and sometimes it picks the package that makes them join. A hassle, but successful method, would be savescumming and reloading if the wrong dialogue package fires.

@SureI'llHaveIt I just wanted to say thank you. This is by far my favorite mod in the entire workshop and I hope you'll be back for Kenshi 2. I really like your rationale of "Join me? No? Welp, enjoy starving to death in this cage...or you can take a ride in the Peeler if you'd prefer that instead."

I have one question. Every time I try to increase my reputation with the Anti-Slavers, and this is the only faction it happens with, I can increase my standing once or twice sometimes, then my only dialogue option is "Join my squad!". And I am then forced to recruit and dismiss them. I tried to increase my standing in Spring, but couldn't get the dialogue option to work, which lead to me kidnapping just about everyone. My reputation tanked and inevitably lead to "I'm going to team up with the Anti-Slavers!" to "I'm just going to kill everyone in every faction".

@boxofmadness466~ That's the (bad) genesis patchmod someone did for this mod, which made recruitment cost money. Either find a different patchmod or make one - or don't use genesis, which is my preferred choice.

Idk what mod Is conflicting but trying to recruit thralls or other member of the skeleton outcasts gives me a whole diferent talk interaction, I not only don't have the option to increase reputation but recruiting them costs me 20k... I've not tried with anyone else, but I hope this doesn't happen with others, really ruining my skeleton only run

@SureI'llHaveIt could you revert the change you make to cages? AS PickleRick said,it seems that it would remove the bounty of the person you put inside. I really want to do this myself however i know nothing of kenshi modding,so i can only acount on you to change that.

I recently started using UWE and was under the presumption i could recruit anyone anymore using this mod. I find myself in trouble with factions on accident(stray swords and what have you) so this mods feature of the reputation buff was helpful and kind of hilarious at the start. Is there a way to make a patch for this mod and UWE or am i stuck with recruit prisoners? If i need to patch on my end, what would you suggest? I just felt i had a better time and use for this mod but it conflicts with UWE for me and doesn't work. Thanks for any tips! This mod is super fun and adds a element vanilla doesn't. love it.
