I really hope you do continue modding hoi4! I was hoping you'd consider making navigable rivers for hoi4!

Nothing related to what this mod does. It was more of a straw that broke the camels back relating around carrier air wings sizes that made me reconsider weather or not I wanted to continue modding HOI4.

Well,sadly no more updates for this mod.although it says it works in 1.12.x. And basicly that

Assuming that you have the Cruiser Sub tech that unlocks Extra Fuel Tanks, then all sub hulls should have access to them for front 1 and rear 1 module slots.

The London naval treaty puts a restriction on submarines with guns grater than 6 inches. To simulate that the decisions for medium and heavy submersible guns are hidden until your country either starts cheating, enacts the escalation clause, or leaves the treaty entirety.

No, mister inspector that is not a 12 inch battleship gun on my submarine. =)

Probably, if my understanding of load order is still correct the the only difference between running this mod with/without RT56 would be the historic design of Frances Surcouf class.

for some reason i cant use the Anechoic Tiles, they dont appear in the open slots when unlock them.

The NRM II submod does give the AI the ability to build gun submarines if they somehow acquire the appropriate flags. It might be something that I can look into for the future.

The AI does not take the decisions and I haven't made/updated any templates for the new modules. So the AI will probably be limited to France with their Surcouf class and any licensed production of Surcouf/Player made submarines.

looks like 1.7 changed how alignment is set in the history files. France should now have proper political alignment now.

That is strange. I hope that I did not mess that up when I changed the Surcouf to have its 8in gun turret. Does France still have no alignment when the history folder is removed?

I noticed a very weird behavior, the mod itself works fine, but france starts out without any political alignment whenever i enable this mod.

Only problem I've found is that as Britain I took Anechoic Tile decision before the guns and lost access to the guns.

The 1944 subs have everything that the 1940 ones have access to. I don't plan on adding extra module slots because, I like how there are limited module slots. It kind of forces players specialize each class.

I would suggest to open a slot for radar or the "normal" aviation facility because radar andd snorkels are now on the same slot but they were used together.

I like how there are limited module slots. It kind of forces players specialize each class.
Like you could go with 95% sub visibility reduction but you will be limited to only one free module slot.
Or you build something with heavy and light guns, but it will cost a lot of IC and lose speed and stealth.
Alternatively, paring it up Ise and stick 6 aircraft on one and have a mini-carrier, but again it will cost a lot of IC and lose speed.

with all thos extra stuff you add for subs you should also add few extra slots in ship designer
