The landing is bugged, you CANNOT land if you run out of stamina and are on the ground. You will just build torpor trying to do so. Be careful, if you "evolve" you flyers and remove the mod, they will despawn meaning either; your landing is fucked. Or the "evolved" flyers get deleted from existence.
This mod use to be good when I used it back in 2017-18 yet they have required you to "evolve" the flyers meaning they can get erased and fucked up the flying. RIP mod.

I downloaded and tested the mod, use it on a Argy that I had, but when I turn the mod off, my Argy disappeared, is there a fix for this? The argy had itens in it...

Is there an option to adjust keybinds?
I try to use wit with the mod "all dinos allow guns" which appears to function with it, but when I use left klick to fire, my mount goes into a dive for some reason and I think its a strange keybind?

If a flyer is out of stamina, it cannot land since it cannot flap to slow down, instead, it will divebomb its face into the ground endlessly, even if the correct landing buttons are being pressed

This mod is really cool, but you do end up losing some flight precision and you can't really hover as much when in IF. I really do wish there was a way to toggle between flying modes on the "fly" without having to feed it the evolver again.

how to remove if?

This mod is absolut buggy. i cant land if the stamina is still full, the water makes some bugs that my petrei doesnt know if he should land, fly or dive. If i try to land and the petri wont, i jump of his back. In the end the petri stops but he tries to fly in a cyrcle on the point i jumped of... Ah i forgot, that i have some flat beach, where i tried to land as well. if i am near the ground, there is a water flashing animation like flying over the sea.... I have no other fly mod so i dont think that one of the other mods will interupt this one.

Accidentally turned a Tek Griffin from Kraken's Better Dino's into a Snow Owl by feeding it the evolver. I'm guessing the outcome turned out random or specifically into a snow owl because it was registered as a griffin but technically it was from a mod so something went wrong.

Any idea if Tek Griffins are possible to turn into IF variants somehow? Any way for me to make a compatibility patch for it maybe?

Btw, despite some bugs with landing and fps drop while near the ground, the mod is awesome! Add phoenix pls, it would be really cool!

About tames despawning when mod is unsubscribed - people in the comments should know that feeding evolver to modded tames turns them back to vanilla versions. I don't get why it's not in "How to use" section, I just randomly tryed in on pelagornis and it worked.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to land. I press the buttons it says, and the flyer will start doing the animation of attempting to slow down but they don't, and when I'm near the ground and look at it, I don't land, I blind myself with dust and accelerate to the speed of sound instead

Mod works both on my singleplayer save and my server save without any issues. Now having to fly across half of the map is actually fun!

It doesn't work on Evolved anymore! Such a magnificent mod deserves an update!

Evolver seems to broken. but still possible to spawn modded variant of creatures.

@StingSilver Well obviously... they're changed into <modded> creatures, of course they're going to despawn with the mod removal. This is basic modding 101.

How to do the dive? Tried holding down attack for 2 seconds on argy and wyvern and nothing happens.

for some reason when I give a dino an evolver they stop consuming stamina entirely is this a known issue?

does using the evolver nerf the stats of your flying dinos?

Works like a charme, its hard to change my old "trained" behavior. Wonder why this isn't the standard flightmechanic in ARK. Be aware, after you fly this way, you prob dont want to fly with the old mechanics anymore at all. :)

Hey Abeke, you have to hold shift and spacebar to brake and then look or fly towards the ground, the flyer will then automatically land.

mod works great so far there is just on thing i dont understand. How do you land because when you press space near the ground it doesnt do anything, i have to dive down and press E to dimount only then it lands

Griffin is still buggy for me too. Teleports random if you collide with Environment like Trees. Wyverns are not as bugged but somehow, when i put it on my lightning and poison wyverns, they swapped to fire wyverns.

I lost my Argen after I unsubscribe this mod.

For those struggling with landing, the instructions say hold space and shift and it was driving me crazy landing it felt so buggy.

For my game I have shift toggle for speed flying not sure if its a setting I turned on or the game has changed so instead of holding shift and space you have to press shift to flap harder then just hold spacebar and point into the ground to land.

To anyone who doesn't read the instructions. I suggest you do because I could not figure out how to land for the life of me.

The Griffin is still broken, sometimes it teleports between places. Most horrifying case was when it zapped us both in the center of the ocean right on top of Alpha megalodon. I guess it was the same case as of the person below, who was teleported to 50 50 coords.
The map I'm playing on rn is Fjordur, just in case if it's important.

I really like the idea for this mod, but does anyone know if there's a way to disable the flight wind sound, and the wing trails? They are both distracting, and the wind sound is giving me a migraine lol

When it is time to land, press and hold Spacebar and Shift together to slow down, and once your speed is low enough just touch the ground and your flyer will land. Flyers no longer land if you\'re not braking as well, so keep them held until you touch down.

when i get close to my quetz, a bunch of black and white lines or dots fill my screen, like its trying to load the feathers but it cant
